The Rise of Victoria Seras

Chapter 47: 47. Interrogation

Chapter 47

"Damn cowardly bastards. How dare they enslave me in my sleep!" Incognito, who was carrying the unconscious man through the corridors of the Millennium base, was literally bursting with barely restrained anger. "Just wait, creatures, just one small mistake and there will be no trace of you left, sooner or later you will make it, and I know how to wait."

- Ah, Incognito. I see you brought me a gift. - Major said with a crazy smile that he had decided to visit Doc.

- You wanted to know about Alucard's new chick. He must have information. - Having said this, Incognito threw the unconscious Arthur onto the operating table.

- Oh, what a wonderful time, - the Major exclaimed happily. - We were just able to find out her name. I must admit, I didn't expect her to be such a person when I heard her voice.

- And who is she? - the ancient vampire-sorcerer showed a little interest.

The Major walked over to an empty terminal in the lab and after pressing a few keys, an image of Seras Victoria lit up on the screen, along with her name and life story with many photographs.

- I present to you, Seras Victoria. The new not quite alive member of the Hellsing organization.

- Oh my God! Are they real? - Doc exclaimed loudly, examining the girl's breasts.

"Of course you would have noticed, Doc. You're still the same pervert you were in the old days." The Major sighed wearily before continuing.

- No, that's not it! I meant the scars from her medical history! - the vampire quickly found an excuse, pointing to numerous photographs of the girl's body with many scars, to a contemptuous snort from Incognito.

- Yes. She had a rather depressing childhood, even by our standards. I'm surprised she was able to live a normal life after everything and even become a police officer. - Major said with a strange chuckle.

- Hmm. She would make a good servant. - Incognito expressed his opinion.

"Oh, so you're still here?" Major asked, feigning surprise, before adding dismissively, "I thought you had other things to do."

From such a demonstrative disregard, as if he were nothing more than a pathetic pawn, Incognito's anger flared up with renewed vigor, but the magical shackles firmly restrained him from rash actions, so the only thing left for him was to silently leave the company of the two Germans.

Meanwhile, Arthur began to wake up and Doc, who noticed this, immediately injected him with a drug into his vein to make it easier to interrogate. The voices Arthur heard immediately became more muffled as if they were coming from far away, and his vision began to become blurred. Soon he tried to move his hand, but realized that he could not move. From the sudden panic that flared up, his vision cleared up a little, and his hearing became clearer.

- I see that you are awake. Very good! I have many questions for you. - Doc hovered over Arthur with a creepy smile on his face.

- Who are you?! Where am I? - asked Arthur, immediately noticing that the dried blood stains and various drawings of dismembered people were quite reminiscent of the cliched laboratory of a mad scientist vivisectionist.

"What the fuck is going on?" the boy screamed in his head. "Okay, think about it, Arthur! I was on a mission with those idiots when I got caught by that monster that escaped from the freak show. Then... nothing."

- Listen. If I were to say what I hate most in this world, it would be ignoring. - With anger on his face, Doc tore off the nail on Arthur's little finger, successfully bringing him out of his thoughts.

- Agh... Ha... Ha-ha-ha-ha. - Arthur groaned painfully and suddenly laughed.

- Oh my god, I already broke it. Hellsing really needs to work on his soldiers a little more. - Doc sighed sadly.

- No, I'm fine. You just remind me of a guy I knew at school. - Arthur said, chuckling slightly.

- Really? And who is he?

- He was a creepy little kid. He was always interested in all sorts of dead things. You really remind me of him.

- Impudent fellow! - Doc exclaimed, taking the knife with the obvious intention of adding a couple of holes that nature had not planned.

- That's enough, doc. I think this young man was just joking.

- Of course... Major. - the vampire said disappointedly, putting away the knife.

"What can you tell me about Seras Victoria? I'm very interested in learning everything about her." The Major said, turning Arthur around so he could see the screen displaying all the information they had about Seras.

"It's like I'm stuck in a bad movie with terrible actors. German accent, crazy appearance and a weird half-naked guy with disgusting makeup." Arthur almost wanted to laugh at the absurdity of the situation.

"Doc, it looks like our prisoner isn't cooperating," Major complained like an offended child.

- Oh, don't worry. Another cooperation serum will appear soon. - Doc answered with a smile, picking up a syringe with a greenish liquid inside.

"I'll talk. I was just trying to understand the situation. It's not every day that I get kidnapped and interrogated." Arthur said quickly, not wanting to let the strange liquid get inside him.

- Hm, indeed. In that case, answer me, or I'll let the doc do his thing. Trust me, you don't want that. - The Major said, pointing to the wall filled with preserved human organs, causing Arthur to show signs of fear for the first time in the entire conversation.

- There it is. The situation is finally starting to sink in. I've always enjoyed watching men's bravado turn into pathetic, tearful messes begging for mercy. It's truly my favorite spectacle.

-…- Arthur swallowed hard, realizing that he was really stuck, after all, even if he could stall for time, it was unlikely that anyone would come to his aid. The mortality rate in the Hellsing ranks was extremely high and he had most likely already been declared dead.

"So, what can you tell me about Seras Victoria? You see, I am very interested in her and I don't think I can wait any longer." The Major said excitedly, causing Arthur to grimace a little in disgust.

- What do you want to know?

- Let's start with...

The Major asked a lot of questions, most of them rather stupid, like what her favorite hobby was and the color of her underwear. These questions seemed extremely useless to him, so he obediently answered everything he knew, reading Seras' file along the way. He had never thought about what her life was like before becoming a vampire, but seeing this made him feel ashamed of how his comrades, and even he himself, had initially perceived it.

- What is her weakness? - the Major suddenly asked.

-…

- I know you heard me. You were quite responsive before.

- I don't know. If there is one, she didn't show it.

-… I see. In that case, you are now useless to me. – The major frowned in disappointment, while irritably shaking off his jacket.

- What will happen now? - asked Arthur.

- Now? Oh, now it's time for Doc's favorite hobby. - The Major stated before heading out the door.

- Hobby? What is he...

- It's... THE TIME FOR MASSACRE!! - Doc screamed in excitement, taking out a strange instrument and starting to approach.

Arthur was so scared that he even forgot how to scream.

- This is my favorite tool, it will allow me to cut you in a way that will cause maximum pain, but still leave you alive. - Doc began to say, stroking the tool he had taken. - It took me a lot of time...

"BANG-BANG-BANG...BANG" - suddenly shots rang out in the room, and Arthur felt blood splash on his face, and Doc, with a stunned face, clutching his stomach, fell to the ground.

- Hey Arthur, I came to help! - the smiling cat-girl said happily.
