'I can't die, I really can't die in a place like this, in a way like this...' I just... don't want to die like a dog, atleast I deserve a better death than, this?

I thought as I look around, to find something which can help me survive, but all I saw was fishes rushing to me, the weakening of the rope, and Kelvin shouting for me to escape.

An idea appeared in my mind but I shook my head, 'No, i can't do this...' There must be some other way, I thought as I suppressed all my feelings and closed my eyes.

"You are perfect as you are, so, just survive, okay? Survive... For me."

It was just this line that crossed my mind, and a face, it was all I need, as I opened my eye, "I am sorry, Kelvin." I said, pointing a gun as his eyes went wide.

"Wait, Evan? What are yo-"

*Bang!!

*Splash!!

The bullet tore through the air and the rope Kelvin was hanging too as he fall in the water and soon, all the fishes was all over him, eating him from inside him out.

"Evan! E-Evan! Save me! What are you doing?! Evan! Ke-Kevin! Kevin!!"

"I am sorry, Kelvin." I said as my rope too broke causing me to fall in water too but fortunately, there were no more fishes there waiting for kill and rat me, and I too I have to leave before they are done least everything goes to waste.

Thankfully, I was trained to swim too, since there was almost nothing that I can't do as long as it's a normal activity, from cooking to skiing and so I started swimming while grabbing a few more random Flowers on my way.

My tears become a drop in ocean in the lake as I just focused on escaping and before the fishes can reach back to me, I was already on the land looking at the place where not even bones were remaining.

"I really am sorry," I said as I punched the hand which was holding the gun on the rocky floor as blood flow through it.

"I wish... There was some other way," I said banging my fist again.

"But... I, I have no choice, I have to go back to them and, I have to become strong and, I have to marry and, have a family." I said, banging my head as a wound appeared.

Fortunately for Evan, it wasn't as serious or bloody but still hurted a lot.

As he closed his eyes, tears flowed through his eyes, "Let alone you, even I will never forgive myself," I said, even though I was always prepared to kill, I never know it's going to be like this.

But then, I opened my eyes, not even wiping my tears, "Let's leave," I said in a neutral voice without even looking backor giving the lake another look.

After picking up all the Soul Flowers he was able to get, Evan put it in the storage ring which was already half full with just 12 of these flower, at best he could fit a chair inside it and that was it.

'No wonder it's just F rank, I can't even fit a decent amount of things in here' I thought looking at the golden ring with red ruby on it.

After that, he started looking looking around for a place to leave. He t ried to open the tunnel from which Jack escaped but have to give up as he receive no response.

After looking around for a bit more, Even finally found at tunnel from which the soldier and the through, which was his guess as he found no other entrace through which someone could enter this place.

"Let's leave," He said, looking behind him one last time giving the place one final look. It was a place from which his journey truly begin and maybe he is never going to come back here again.

Looking at his hand, he saw a locket which was now just a broken heart with only right side remaining intact as he wear it around his neck and covered it with his shirt...

It will be a mark he will carry with him forever, a burden, and a memory that will forever remind him of what he did here in this place.

What he did here, the choices he made, he will regret them forever even though he had no other choice if he wanted to survive but it doesn't change the fact that what he did... was a 'Sin'.

And he will wear this peice of Sin for as long as he can.

"I will kill him for sure," Jack said, looking at the three Petal Flower in his hand.

It was a few hours after Evan left that check finally open the tunnel again and breathes a sign of relief that he saw no one.

Using one of his tresure fishing rod, he grabbed these Lotus one after another but throw back lower quality ones so they can grow more petals again.

It took him about an hour or two that he finally got one with three petals but even with the treasure that could cause Nations and empires to rise or fell, he still felt empty inside.

He might not be feeling this if he had got in this one right away but even and elephant feel small when you have seen a whale.

"I will definitely kill them both," Jack said as he too left the cave, maybe after a few hundred years, someone will return this place again and blood might flow here again but till then, it will be a never changing place, visited by these fishes once a year...
