The Strongest Lunarian in One Piece

Chapter 390: Chapter 390: Clashes with Marines!!! (3)

Boom… BOOM…

"Aaah… aaah…"

In an instant, flashes of lightning streaked across the cracked ice.

Again and again, screams resounded—people were blown away by thunderbolts or struck dead by lightning.

Although Marine high officers like Sengoku, Garp, and Zephyr could easily dodge or block the self-aware lightning that homed in on them, other Marines were not so lucky. Even some ordinary vice admirals fell victim to its merciless strikes, leaving horrific scenes in its wake. It was terrifying.

Such was the might of a "Heavenly Calamity," displayed for all to see.

"I had no idea Mother was so strong…"

Sif couldn't help exclaiming in amazement. She had always known how formidable her mother was, but never realized it could be this outrageous.

"Damn it!!"

Sengoku seethed with rage. Fighting off the scorching heat, he forced back the giant figure bathed in blue flames before him, and surged toward Gerd—determined to subdue this troublesome woman.

All at once, he was met by a crushing sword pressure:

"Ikoku!!!"

With a crackling sound, a flashy sword edge tore the air, warping it under its fierce pressure.

Slash—

A terrifying shockwave of sword energy, carrying an unimaginable power, hurtled toward the golden Buddha.

"Buddha Impact!!"

The expression of Sengoku, transformed into a Buddha, changed slightly. Yet as a warrior who had seen countless battles, he responded in a flash. Without hesitation, the giant golden palm gathered shimmering halos of energy and struck forward.

"Boom… BOOM…"

The ice layer shook amid a deep rumbling. Two massive shockwaves expanded, colliding fiercely: a vicious blade-energy surge against the mighty Buddha's impact.

"Whoosh… whoosh…"

"Crack… crack…"

Waves churned violently as the sea roiled. Air currents whipped up ice shards, swirling them about and stinging the eyes. The scene was nothing short of devastating.

"Curse it—!"

His gaze locked onto the tall figure before him; Sengoku, huge and gleaming gold, wore an ugly scowl. Standing guard with her colossal sword, Sif—her body alight with those turquoise flames—spoke with a mischievous smile:

"Buddha Sengoku, don't think you can just push past here!"

"Then I'll deal with you first!"

The golden Buddha stomped down, shattering the ice below. That enormous, shining figure dashed forward with murderous vigor, palm radiating potent shockwaves laced with menacing black-and-red lightning, about to bear down on Sif with unstoppable force.

"Buddha's Fury!!"

"Whoo… whooo…"

Sif, however, showed no fear. In her hybrid form, all four wings flared at once. Blessed by a body of steel and monstrous strength, she rocketed forward at astonishing speed. Her right leg—armored like forged steel—was enveloped in formidable Haki. Coursing with terrifying momentum, it slammed out in fierce opposition.

"Phoenix Stamp!!"

"Boom… BOOM…"

Their two shockwaves collided violently. A huge arc of black-red lightning crackled between them like a twisting dragon or serpent. Clearly, it wasn't just Thor who possessed powerful Conqueror's Haki; Sif, eldest daughter of the Kukulkan family, did as well.

Yet, as expected, she hadn't mastered the advanced Conqueror's infusion technique. That towering frame was blasted away under Sengoku's rage-filled blow, which bristled with Conqueror's Haki. Even with her iron-like body and Lunarian trait of "ignoring damage," her advantage wasn't quite enough to take that hit effortlessly.

But in a flash, the blazing azure fires behind Sif's head surged, and her entire body ignited with blue flames, instantly healing what few "minor" injuries she had. Regaining her stance, she spoke with a wry grin:

"Useless. I'm immortal, you know!"

"Fsssh… Crackle…"

Uttering this, she rushed in again as though unscathed, launching another relentless assault at Sengoku, whose face now betrayed a flicker of shock. He had no choice but to remain on guard. Combined with her Lunarian blood, that Mythical Zoan Phoenix form was no joke, and those teal flames carried frightful heat. Even he dared not be touched by them. If not for his giant golden Buddha form's natural toughness shielding him from most of that heat, he'd have to protect himself fully with Haki or be badly burned.

Thus began an intense clash between them, neither side yielding.

"Boom… BOOM…"

Meanwhile, the other battlefields raged just as fiercely.

"Ga-ga jiji…"

"Bang!!!

"BOOM!!!"

All at once, glaring arcs of electricity lit the battlefield an eerie white. Thor's formidable figure flashed with lightning, effectively becoming lightning incarnate, darting left and right at breakneck speed.

"Whoosh… whoosh…"

He brandished the Thunder God's Hammer nonstop, raining strikes from every direction. Every time he struck, he vanished immediately, giving Garp no chance to counter. Then, an instant later, he reappeared from a new angle with another explosive blow, leaving his opponent struggling to keep up. Garp felt stifled, his strength hamstrung. While Garp could block every hit and hadn't exactly fallen behind, this Kukulkan heir was slippery indeed. Garp couldn't find any opening to fight back.

Though Garp's raw power and mastery of Haki (including Conqueror's) outstripped the opponent's, he still couldn't dominate the fight.

"Bang!!!"

With an electrifying flash, the giant hammer smashed forward, clashing with Garp's Haki-clad fist, fending off the high-voltage current Thor attempted to pour into him. This formidable vice admiral—who repeatedly declined the admiral rank—showcased his skill, narrowly blocking the hammer. Yet inwardly, he cursed:

"Damn it. What kind of freak is this?"

"Such a huge body, and yet his reflexes are unbelievably sharp…."

It defied reason. One that large should be an easy target—but Thor's speed and reaction time were insane. Worse, he reminded Garp of a young Fallen Angel El. This "godlike body" apparently combined invulnerability, monstrous strength, and that Lunarian trait of "ignoring damage." The Logia Rumble-Rumble Fruit made him all but unstoppable. Garp felt certain he was stronger overall, yet a short-term victory seemed unattainable against the Kukulkan heir.

"Tsk…"

Without warning, Garp's eyes narrowed. Abruptly stomping the ice, he vaulted backward in retreat.

"Ga-ga jiji…"

High above, as if the heavens themselves were enraged, the sky roiled with electricity. A pillar of lightning, massive beyond measure, streaked down with horrifying force.

"Boom… BOOM…"

The ice shook underfoot. Lightning flashed, too bright to behold. Garp's hair stood on end. Detecting danger behind him, he whirled:

"Smash!!!"

Driven by pure reflex, he fired a punch behind him.

"Lightning Kick!!!"

In that split second, a colossal figure wreathed in lightning materialized, launching a monstrous right kick crackling with advanced Armament Haki, bearing unfathomable power—hurtling forth like a comet blazing down.

"Boom… BOOM!!!"

"Ga-ga jiji…"
