The Strongest Master in Shinobi World (COMPLETED)

Chapter 26: Chapter 26: TimeSkip One and Half year

Hearing this, the three students became more serious.

They attempted to condense a chakra thread and connect it to the kunai. However, they quickly realized the challenges involved.

Maintaining stable chakra alone was already quite difficult, but now they had to split their focus to control the kunai. The three students failed in their initial attempts.

Seeing them struggle, Asahi merely smiled and didn't say much.

The determined trio, unwilling to admit defeat, continued to make attempts, one after another.

With prolonged training, the three students' chakra was insufficient to meet their needs. Asahi devised a training plan for them: in the morning, they would practice chakra control, and once their chakra was depleted, they would engage in refining exercises to restore it.

In the afternoon, they would focus on physical training, taking turns sparring and practicing various combat techniques.

Every day, the three students lived this monotonous routine. They progressed from not being able to control a single kunai to frequently injuring themselves, then to confidently handling one kunai.

Subsequently, they began increasing the number of kunai, repeating the experiences of the past.

In physical training, the three students made rapid progress. Among the countless low-level techniques rewarded by the system, Asahi had not taught them a particular one. Instead, he had them train in a variety of techniques.

While mastering one technique could make you better than knowing a thousand others, it would limit the trio's potential.

Asahi did not intend to restrict them to a single path of physical training. The path he had chosen for his disciples was versatile.

Ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu, fuinjutsu, and even senjutsu if possible, it would be best if they could excel in all.

Although versatile ninjas progressed slowly in the beginning and weren't particularly strong in any one aspect, they were among the most invincible at their level.

Being well-rounded meant having no weaknesses for enemies to exploit. Furthermore, even though they were learning a variety of techniques, many of them shared common principles. After mastering some, the rest seemed surprisingly easy to learn.

As the days went by, the three students made significant progress.

...

A year and a half later, the three youngsters by the riverside had grown significantly taller. Even the shortest among them, Yahiko, was nearing five feet in height.

At this point, they had shed the innocence they displayed when they first encountered Asahi. Although they were still relatively young, the maturity in their faces was becoming evident.

All three of them extended ten slender, pale-blue chakra threads from their fingertips, connecting them to the distant kunai. Initially dormant, the kunai instantly soared into the air, hovering around them.

As the three's fingertips quivered incessantly, all the kunai in the air collided rapidly. Sparks occasionally burst into the sky, accompanied by the resonating clang of kunai clashing.

Although the kunai they controlled lacked sharp edges, their high-speed maneuvers still posed a lethal threat to ordinary individuals.

However, even in this intense scenario, the trio maintained smiles on their faces, as if they found it exceptionally effortless.

Indeed, the current battle situation had not yet reached the limits of what the three could handle. Having trained together for an extended period, they were well aware of each other's boundaries.

Nagato let out a light chuckle, and the speed of his hand movements instantly surged, causing the kunai's velocity to increase once more. Konan and Yahiko, not wanting to fall behind, accelerated their movements to counter Nagato.

However, as time passed, beads of sweat began to appear on Yahiko's face, indicating that he had reached his limits. Not far behind him, Konan's brow furrowed, signifying that her limits were also approaching.

Only Nagato, although maintaining a stern expression, continued to manage the situation capably.

This situation left Yahiko and Konan somewhat helpless, but they weren't resentful. Instead, they were concerned that they couldn't keep pace with Nagato's progress due to his exceptional talent. Their feelings towards Nagato were filled with good wishes.

Sensing that he could no longer hold on, Yahiko didn't push himself further. He grinned, promptly retracted his kunai, and addressed the others, "Haha, I've lost, but don't celebrate too soon!"

With that, Yahiko suddenly accelerated and moved away from his initial position. In the next moment, he rushed directly in front of Nagato, launching a charging punch towards his face.

Nagato remained utterly composed, effortlessly sidestepping Yahiko's attack. He swiftly raised a leg, aiming directly for Yahiko's waist.

Yahiko quickly retreated to evade the strike. Nagato had initially intended to follow up with a counterattack, but before he could react, Konan was already by his side, launching a flying kick.

In this dilemma, Nagato had no choice but to block Konan's attack with his own. However, Konan didn't let up. She immediately shifted her weight and delivered another powerful kick.

The successive strikes forced Nagato to step back repeatedly. Seeing this opportunity, Yahiko swiftly joined the fray, launching his own attacks against Nagato.

Facing the two-on-one assault, Nagato initially resorted to blocking and defending against their attacks.

However, in the next moment, Nagato swiftly evaded Yahiko's punch, seizing the opportunity to grab Konan's outstretched leg.

With a sudden burst of strength, he flung Konan away with a powerful twist of his waist.

This move didn't pose any real harm to Konan; she easily absorbed the impact with a nimble hop. However, she was now separated from Nagato, and bridging that gap quickly was unrealistic.

This created an opening where Yahiko was about to face Nagato one-on-one.

Yahiko grinned, recognizing that while Nagato's talent was indeed exceptional, he himself wasn't lagging too far behind. In terms of Taijutsu, even though he might not surpass Nagato, Konan was significantly stronger than him.

Hoping to swiftly deal with him? That was impossible.

Time was of the essence, and Nagato didn't turn around. Instead, he launched an elbow strike directly at Yahiko behind him.

Yahiko, however, was no slouch. He swiftly twisted his waist at a precise angle, dodging the attack effectively.

Without missing a beat, Yahiko crossed his arms in front of his chest.

As expected, when Nagato's first attack failed, he instantly changed tactics. His arm lashed out like a whip, targeting Yahiko's chest.

Yet, Yahiko skillfully blocked the strike with his arms. Utilizing the force of Nagato's attack, Yahiko leaped away from Nagato's side.

Observing the situation, Nagato felt rather helpless. Despite his superior skills, the deep familiarity among the three of them left no room for unexpected maneuvers.

Moreover, while he might be individually stronger, he knew that facing Yahiko and Konan together was a daunting prospect.

Sure enough, Yahiko, who had just leaped away, quickly regrouped with Konan, preparing to launch a joint attack.
