Chapter 33: Chapter 32
But Akira's move gave the classmates great encouragement. At this moment, Akira wore a Tiga Ultraman mask, a dark blue combat uniform, and stood straight, looking incredibly handsome.
Bakugo Katsuki was also surprised. This Akira actually attacked directly and even scored a hit right in front of him?
Thinking of this, Bakugo Katsuki was about to take action, but was interrupted by No. 13, "Students, please don't act now. Villain's strength and strategy are unknown, and my duty is to protect you. This classmate, please stand back."
No. 13 neither objected to nor approved Akira's move, but it was clear that he could no longer act so rashly. Judging from the quirk skill that Akira had just used, it was strong, but didn't seem to affect the monster-like Villain in any meaningful way.
It was clear how formidable these Villains were, and Senior Aizawa might have a challenging time.
"Let's get started." Though the soldiers of the Villain Alliance were surprised by Akira's display, they were the embodiment of evil, hardly fazed by a "little bug" like him.
"Wasn't the intel that only No. 13 and All Might would be here? Who is this kid?" A member of the Villain Alliance mocked Aizawa Shouta with a smirk.
"I don't know, but anyone who charges right at us must be an idiot!"
"Quirk, activate!" Aizawa Shouta's eyes glinted with red light, erasing the quirks of several Villains. White bandages shot out, wrapping around three of them and throwing them aside.
"Fools. That's [Eraser Head], who can erase quirks with a look."
"Eliminate?" A four-armed Villain wearing a black hood charged at Aizawa. "Can alien quirks like ours also be erased?"
"No, but for guys like you, close combat is more effective," Aizawa said, landing a punch on his face. "So, I've prepared accordingly."
"Not only is his hand-to-hand combat impressive, but those goggles block us from seeing whose quirk he's nullifying," Shigaraki Tomura observed. "It's annoying—these professional heroes…"
Just then, the students of Class 1-A began to rush toward the exit.
"Don't think you can escape…" Kurogiri emerged from the ground.
Aizawa Shouta couldn't split his focus to assist them.
"We are the Villain Alliance. Apologies for intruding, but we're here to eliminate the symbol of peace, All Might," Kurogiri declared contemptuously. "Originally, All Might should be here, but maybe something happened on the way?"
"Well, it doesn't matter. My job is to…" Kurogiri dispersed, preparing to attack.
Akira saw Bakugo Katsuki and Kirishima Eijiro charge forward and immediately joined in, hurling a thunderball at Kurogiri.
The explosion resounded, filling the air with black smoke that obscured everything.
"Kurogiri, as cultured as he sounds, all his talk is just nonsense to us!" Akira grinned, confident his thunderball had struck Kurogiri's weak spot, hopefully dealing some damage.
The black smoke cleared, revealing Kurogiri, who focused on Akira. Through the Tiga Ultraman mask, Kurogiri couldn't see his face…
That kid had managed to injure him. Though not severely, the thunderball's paralysis effect was uncomfortable, leaving a tingling sensation in his ribs.
"You've got some guts, kid," Kurogiri muttered, his eyes glowing ominously as he expanded, drawing the students into darkness. Only Ida Tenya and a few others managed to escape.
Akira didn't resist, knowing he'd be able to showcase his skills if he was separated.
After what felt like an eternity in darkness, Akira suddenly emerged into a barren desert, sand flying around him. Looking around, he saw crumbling buildings and a desolate landscape, but no sign of his classmates from Class 1-A.
Just then, a group of Villains emerged from beneath the sand and behind the broken structures—nearly forty in total.
"Look at this kid! Wearing a Tiga Ultraman mask like some childhood fantasy," one of them sneered as laughter erupted around him.
"Oh, so pitiful. You're all alone, and no one's coming to save you."
"Why waste time talking? Let's just finish him off."
"Don't rush—let's have some fun with this one…"
Akira looked at them with disdain. This desert was packed with about one-fifth of the entire Villain Alliance force—Kurogiri must have arranged this specifically for him.
"Done talking?" Akira said calmly. "The Villain Alliance's plans are flawed. Adding two more Nomus won't change the outcome."
The Villains looked puzzled. With so many of them around, how could he not feel afraid?
"Let's take him." Three Villains advanced.
"Let me show you what real fear looks like!" Akira shouted, activating *Thor's Return*. His body became enveloped in crackling lightning, making him look almost divine.
"What's happening?" The Villains were shaken. Akira's quirk was unusual and formidable.
The three who had approached froze, unsure whether to advance or retreat.
"Thunder Shock, maximum output!" Akira yelled, slamming his hands to the sandy ground. The area within a 100-meter radius erupted with lightning, illuminating the desert in violent light.
"Argh!"
"What's going on!? Is he really just a student!?"
Villains screamed in agony, their cries echoing across the training grounds.
