The surrogate mother of a powerful CEO

Chapter 3: Chapter 3

He coldly replied, "It's okay, let's go."

Then he and she walked out of the CEO's office, two figures, a man and a woman, walked down, attracting many admiring, jealous, and envious gazes.

She whispered in his ear: "Why do I feel like they don't like me? You're very charming."

He replied: "Leave them alone, it's okay. I've seen such gazes so many times that I'm used to it."

Then the two of them walked to the garage, he and she walked inside and sat down. The car slowly drove out of the company and merged into the busy traffic.

Fifteen minutes later, he and she arrived at Libellule Villa. He and she entered the garage, and he said to her:

"You get out of the car first, wait for me here."

Eugenivy got out of the car and replied:

"I know."

He drove into the garage and parked the car in the right spot. The man walked out and said:

"Come in, it'll be cold if you stay here for a long time."

She replied:

"Okay. Your villa is very big; the flower garden over there is very beautiful. Do you live here alone?"

"Yes, I live alone; there is a housekeeper and a maid here." He said.

Eugenivy was a little surprised and replied:

"It will be very lonely here, there is no family warmth."

"My parents, older brother, and two younger brothers all live separately. They only come back to the main house on important occasions." He continued.

She said:

"Come in, I will cook for you. You take a bath and then come down to eat."

"Yes, I know."

He and she quickly entered the villa. The housekeeper respectfully greeted:

"Young master, welcome back. Miss Eugenivy, hello. I am Hayden, the housekeeper here. If you need anything, call me."

"Yes." He said and turned to her. "If you need anything, just tell him." Then he went upstairs.

She told him, "I know."

Then she said to the butler:

"Don't call me miss, I'm not a miss. Just call me Eugenivy."

The butler said, "Okay." He thought. 'This is the first woman the young master has brought here; her way of speaking is very polite. I'm afraid she will be the young mistress in the future. I have to respect her a little in the future.'

She said, "Uncle, let me borrow the kitchen to cook for him."

The butler said, "Okay, I've prepared the ingredients in the cupboard."

"Thank you. I'll take my leave first."

She greeted the butler and went into the kitchen to cook some dishes for the general manager. She took out the beef and vegetables from the cupboard and prepared them. She chopped the beef, washed and chopped the celery and leeks, washed the celery and cut them into pieces, soaked the pork ribs in salt water, washed them with water, and then boiled them. She stir-fried beef with celery and leeks, stir-fried celery until cooked, stewed pork ribs with vegetables (potatoes, kohlrabi, carrots), and stir-fried eggs with tomatoes.

He went downstairs. The butler wanted to say hello, but he signaled to be quiet. He sat down at the dining table and looked at her.

After cooking for a while, she scooped food into bowls and plates and brought them to the dining table. He sat there, but she didn't notice; only after she sat down at the table did she say:

"When did you come down here? Why didn't I know?"

"I just came down, You were so focused on cooking that you didn't know when I arrived."

She replied:

"Oh, I understand. Well, eat it quickly, and see if it suits your taste. Uncle Hayden, come eat together."

The housekeeper replied, "No, Eugenivy, I can't eat at the same table with the young master."

"You sit down and eat together," Antonio suggested.

Eugenivy continued, "You sit down next to me, I'll get you some food."

The housekeeper nodded and sat down next to her, "Thank you, young master, thank you."

The three of them sat down to eat happily and cheerfully, she kept talking and laughing with the housekeeper, making Antonio unhappy. The housekeeper smells the sour vinegar and thinks, "The young master is jealous, maybe he has feelings for Eugenivy."

After the three of them finished eating, she cleaned up and washed the dishes, The clock now pointed to 7:30. Eugenivy walked out of the living room and said to Antonio, "I've already repaid you. I'll take my leave first."

She stood up and was about to leave.

Antonio grabbed her hand.

"Why did you come back so early? Don't you want to stay with me? Do you hate me, Eugenivy?"

The butler understood the current situation, so he told the maid to go out, and he was no longer there.

She took his hand away and said:

"Sorry, President. I don't want to stay and cause misunderstandings to others. We are nothing. Please don't go too far. I don't hate you."

He stood up and said, his hand holding hers tighter.

"I like you."

Her hand was tightly held by him, Eugenivy stiffened at his words. She thought. "Impossible, this person cannot love. The deeper it goes, the more it hurts."

She pushed his hand away, speaking loud enough for both of them to hear.

"No, I'm sorry. I don't like you; I just cherish and admire you. There is absolutely no male-female feeling, don't like me, I'm not worthy of you. My background and education are not on par with yours, your family won't accept me, and my family also doesn't want me to enter your upper-class world."

He stood up, let go of her hand, and hugged her tightly with both hands.

"Why not? I will support you. As long as you agree to love me, okay?"

She was held tightly by him and couldn't be separated, she continued.

"No, because I don't love you. I'm not worthy, do you understand? Let me go, I still have to go home."

He let go of her, his face showing disappointment.

"Okay, you go."

She ran out of the living room and stood in front of the yard. Her tears fell, and after a while, she left.

"If I wasn't a surrogate, I would have agreed. If you knew I was like that, you would hate me. I hope you will live well and not suffer because of me anymore. Antonio, I'm so sorry."
