The System Awakens: Rise of the Champion

Chapter 210: A Gift

Damian and Lenora spent one more hour in the bath, cleaning each other's bodies of their sweat and their mixed love juices while still making out.

They didn't penetrate; they kept it to kissing and massaging.

After that, Damian helped her put on her clothes before getting dressed himself.

He watched with wide, happy eyes as his goddess, Lenora, combed her long, beautiful, silky, silvery white hair that perfectly complemented her bright blue eyes.

"Put this on me, darling," Lenora said with a satisfied smile on her face as she handed over her silver necklace with a white gem adorning it to her husband.

Damian stood behind Lenora, looking at their reflection in the life-size mirror as he brought the necklace around her neck before tying it tightly and placing his hands over her shoulders.

"Do you remember this necklace, darling?" Lenora asked, looking at his reflection in the mirror as she placed her hand over his.

"Of course I remember... like always, I don't think it would look as good on anyone else as it looks on you, sweetheart."

The necklace was made by Damian himself a long time ago, around the time he married Lenora.

He made it using a rare and special rock that could only be found on a moon, but not just any moon.

Damian was fortunate enough to come across it.

He used that rock to forge a White Moon Gem before making it into a necklace just for Lenora.

On the night they consummated their marriage, their rite of union, he gifted it to her.

"Speaking about gifts, darling, don't forget to give some kind of unique gifts to my new sisters," Lenora said.

The new sisters she was talking about were the five vampire countesses: Lillian, Amaya, Kathryne, Akira, and Tiana.

Damian had given gifts to Lenora, Amelia, and Avaline on the day he completed their rite of union, making them his wives.

Lenora, as the goddess of family, knew very well that the new wives would feel left out if they didn't receive gifts as well.

"I knew... the moment I decided to mate with them, I was prepared to embrace them as my wives, just like you three. Of course, I had prepared something special for them... actually, I made them for all of you," Damian said as a spot of light manifested from his chest and landed on his hand before transforming into a necklace that seemed to emit a small aura.

Lenora raised an eyebrow, looking at the necklace.

The necklace was even more beautiful than the one she had now.

It had a pure golden heart-shaped embellishment, chain, and assembly pieces.

In its centerpiece, there was a heart-shaped crystal, and it was the thing that stood out the most.

It constantly released a small aura, and its color was constantly changing like a kaleidoscope.

It was simply mesmerizing to look at.

"Darling, it's beautiful…" Lenora muttered as she looked at it in her hand.

The aura the necklace emitted was warm and comfortable to hold.

She could feel some sort of power from it.

"The stone itself is something I created using my own essence... inside the stone, there is a tiny amount of different energies housed together. All the energy that I possess... Currently, there are 24 different types of energies inside it," Damian explained, smiling as he looked at how impressed his wife was with the necklace he made for her.

"How did you manage that? Many energies inside the same vessel would never become stable. As soon as you attempted this, it should have destroyed the vessel into pieces," Lenora asked.

"My blood... I stored a drop of my blood inside, which acts as a conduit to maintain balance among the numerous energies within the vessel," Damian replied.

"It really is one of a kind... is this for me?" Lenora asked.

"Yes... I made it for everyone. They are identical to each other as well. I will give it to Amelia and Avaline when I meet them in person. This one is for you, my love." Damian placed the necklace around her neck, buckling its assembly tightly.

"You make it look great," he muttered with a satisfied expression.

"I love it..." Lenora muttered as she tightly hugged her husband.

"I'm glad..." he patted her back.

"I have another gift for you. Well, it's not really a gift," Damian said as he gently sucked on her neck before opening his mouth and showing his fangs, then gently biting her.

"Mmh," Lenora groaned slightly under the nice sensation.

Through the bite, Damian injected his essence into her, making Lenora feel hot, and something began changing inside her.

Damian removed his fangs from her flesh and looked at Lenora as she stared back at him with a moist look in her eyes.

"What's going on, darling?" Lenora asked as she felt something changing within her.

Her skin turned whiter, and it became warmer than usual.

She felt revitalized and refreshed.

"I have given you the racial traits of both high humans and noble vampires. You now possess the regeneration of vampires and the adaptability of humans, and these traits are like muscles. They can be developed and grow stronger the more you train them, but since you are already a goddess, the effects might manifest even faster," Damian explained.

"This feels strange, and my mouth feels all tingly…" Lenora muttered as she looked at the mirror.

In the reflection of her white teeth, she saw strange fangs growing that looked different from werewolf fangs and unlike the fangs that vampires possess.

"This is..."

"That's the result of the vampire traits mixing with your werewolf nature. I believe now your diet includes blood as well. And just like vampires, if you drink my blood, it will boost your physical capabilities."

"Of course, it won't be as powerful as a true noble vampire, but I'm sure this ability will also grow in the future," Damian continued.

"This directly goes against the rules of realities of progenitors... how is this possible? Is it because you are the progenitor of those races?" Lenora asked, shocked.

"To put it simply, yes... The thing is, I'm not just selecting and giving you traits of other races. I'm actually rewriting your race by mixing it with the racial essence of other races," Damian said.

"Let me put it in a simpler way. Before I gave you the racial traits of high humans and noble vampires, you were 100% Alpha Werewolf. But now, you are only 70% Alpha Werewolf. The remaining 30% is made up of 15% high human and 15% noble vampire."

"In a sense, you are a werewolf, human, and vampire at the same time. You are still predominantly a werewolf, but that may change as time goes on," Damian said as a series of notifications appeared in his field of vision.

Ignoring the system prompts, he continued, "You could even consider them as a type of update. The other racial essences I gave you won't change your werewolf nature, but instead will act as an update and develop upon your own werewolf nature."

"It will take months, if not years, but the essence of other races will slowly manifest in many ways, similar to how a baby develops into a fully functional adult," Damian explained.

"Darling, isn't doing something like this too dangerous? I don't think even gods of creation can attempt things like this…" Lenora asked, concerned.

"I mean, our universe has already broken the rules by birthing me. Besides, our universe doesn't belong to any cosmos. We don't have to follow their rules anymore. Now that I think about it, we are truly free, aren't we?" Damian smiled and shrugged his shoulders.

"Once I become the progenitor of the demon and angelic races, I will give you the racial essence of those races as well. I will do the same for the other races too when I become their progenitor," he said.

"Darling, please tell me you're not going to do this for all your creations," Lenora asked, narrowing her eyes.

"Of course not. This is only reserved for my wives. I might give some of my personal retainers the traits of other races, but only a selected few essences," Damian replied, rubbing her cheeks.

Damian actually learned about this when he turned Lucian Holloway into a noble vampire.

When Lucian transitioned into a noble vampire, he inherited a very small influence from the other races Damian embodies within him, making him a superior version of a noble vampire with enhanced racial capabilities compared to other noble vampires.

Damian had long since learned how to control this ability.

Now he can pick and choose which traits are passed on and which aren't.

He can choose to create a normal noble vampire, or a noble vampire with traits of high humans, or one with traits of Alpha Werewolves.

He can even create a noble vampire with traits from all other races inside them, making them the most superior species of all.

Of course, Damian wouldn't give this sort of gift to just anyone.

His wives and family members would be his first priority.

They would get the traits of all races in existence, making them far superior to all other species.

He was also planning to give others this gift as well, not the traits of all beings but a couple of them, if they proved worthy of the great honor.
