Anyway, nothing can be done about that.

The market was not the same as it was back when I first obtained the Cosmic Market pass. As I remember, there were very few worlds connected through that.

From the guide that it provided, I came to know that possessing the pass doesn't mean they can access the Cosmic Market. There are some conditions to be fulfilled to be eligible to access the market.

I have no idea what those conditions are and don't care much about them at this point anyway.

So even if there was a market pass available in some worlds, if it was not in the hands of an eligible one, then it matters not. They can't access the market much less sell or buy items from the market as that would require them first to access the market to do so.

So, the number of buyers and sellers would always change every time.

Of course with the increased numbers in the past few years, either the owner increased the number of passes or the ones that were there were activated by the ones who fulfilled the conditions.

The owner may have reduced the conditions for entry as there would huge gaps with fewer members accessing the market.

I mean look at this example.

At this moment I can access the market but before that, the pass stayed in that shop for who knows how long. In all those years, there were no buyers or sellers using that pass. It was a gap in the market.

In the future, when I pass away, there will be a gap again. There is no guarantee that my future children can access it like me. Though they may fail, I would still leave it for my future descendants. When someone in the bloodline appears that can fulfil the conditions, the gap in the market would be removed again.

People may think that I am greedy for keeping such a thing in the family, rather than giving it to someone who can benefit from it. To them, I say this, yes I am greedy and so are they.

People talk big when it comes to others but when it concerns them, everyone is greedy or selfish in one way or another. No one is above that. It is just that they can't see that themselves.

I am not going to give something precious like that to others when I have my own family that can benefit from such a thing.

As I kept saying, I am not evil nor I am a saint. If I see that others are in need of help, then I would help them as long as it won't cause me trouble. I am not someone with Hero Syndrome to take all the burdens of the world onto myself.

I don't want to muck myself by showing kindness to others.

Without proper strength, kindness is the biggest mistake.

Anyway, once I am gone, there will be a gap in the market because of my absence. A single absence may not mean anything as long as that one is the one who provides some rare items.

Of course, like me, many would leave these passes as inheritances in their family, rather than donating them away to others. So there would be a lot of gaps with too many worlds connecting.

This would certainly decrease the number of transactions as there would be less buyers/sellers when such a thing happens which I am sure would be quite common.

I mean passes like these should be considered as treasures, and if known to others, there would be a lot of competition for those.

There are betrayals known to happen for even some common treasures. This passes, though I can't say what its category would be, certainly are beyond common treasures. Though there is the problem that not everyone can access them, that won't stop others from procuring them, once their existence is known to others.

I mean, even if they can't use themselves, their descendants could use them.

These passes, though they are not useful directly could let them access many resources from other worlds. getting hands on such resources would increase their family or clan or sect or organization or whatever's power.

So, no one would let go of such a chance, even if that chance is minuscule.

I am sure that such things happened or happening in some worlds. So, I kept mine a secret and would do so until my death. Only my descendants would even come to know about it and even among them, I would make sure to instruct that not everyone should come to know about it.

If by chance there was a blabbermouth in the family or a bastard who either spills it unknowingly or leaks it for selfish reasons, then that would doom my descendants. I am going to keep it in the family, so that they would be much better, not to be destroyed.

So, when I leave this world, I need to leave some instructions behind for them to follow.

I mean who would know what would happen in the future? Anything can happen but that doesn't make me worry less about the future. I would be prepared for it as much as I could and whatever happens...wait, why am I worrying about my future descendants at this time?

I am just twenty years old and there is still a lot of time before I would expire naturally. Moreover, I didn't even get a child or wife at this point. There is still time before that happens. So no need to worry unnecessarily.

If I keep worrying like this, I may die before the intended time. I should stress less.

Anyway, I don't know what the owner of the marketplace did, but whatever it was, it increased the traffic. It made it easier for me to obtain a lot of resources that are usually not easily obtainable or available.

The only problem that remained was purchasing them, I would need a lot of resources too, which is not very easy. Though there are secret realms, the resources there are still limited.

This is why I need to take a tour of the world after these exams. There is much to learn and I hope that with that tour, that may become possible.
