The Uzumaki Prince

It had been three days since that journey started, and by now Akashi realized escaping the destruction of Uzushiogakure was not the only reason for this journey.

'Training,' was also a big part of it and he started to think that it was the main reason.

After the first day where she had taught and guided him into mastering water walking, they had taken refuge in one of the old strongholds of the Uzumaki clan used during the Warring States period.

Like all the prominent clans, they had a lot of those disseminated everywhere.

"I thought that I was finally going to rest," he said looking at his mother with a tired expression while she was demonstrating a new jutsu that he needed to memorized with his sharingan.

Since they had arrived, she had shown him nearly all her jutsu, she had made him practice the hand signs, and the chakra circulation at a very slow pace, but she had forbidden him to actually use them.

 "Do you want me to memorize your entire arsenal of jutsu? What's the point if you never let me use them,"

"Stop complaining, it will help you in the future,"

"I know," he sighed, "But, this is boring,"

"Be patient, this is how one gets strong slowly, one step at a time, it's boring, but it's how it is,"

Behind him were nine clones, and all of them were doing different exercises.

Five of the clones were practicing the five different chakra natures while two others were focused on the yin and yang part.

Akashi had all of those chakra types in him and Kana was making sure that he train in all of them, yes even the yin part.

While the Uchiha only use it by instinct, by focusing it on their eyes, she was trying to make sure that Akashi could circulate it as another chakra type.

Another clone was focused on memorizing existing seals and another was working on making seals.

All the clones had a white tag with a strange white tag with a single kanji in the center, engraved on it.

Its function was to protect Akashi's brain, each time that one of the clones dissipated, the information would be transferred in the paper tags instead of directly entering Akashi's brain, potentially causing him harms.

'Advantage of having someone familiar with the book of seals of the Uzumaki and Konoha at the same time, while at the same time being a master of sealing jutsu,'

'Or maybe it is a curse,' he said looking at the tired expression on even his clones.

She had started to make him work harder than usual since they arrived here.

It didn't take him long to realized what she was doing, why she seems in an hurry, it was a precaution, in case the worst happened, he knew that he even though he still complained he diligently did what she asked.

"Alright, that is more than enough for today," she said

Hearing that Akashi dispelled his clones, and once he did, the tags started to shine and soon complex seals appeared around the kanji on the white tags.

"Foosh," the tags flew toward Kana before they disappeared, who knows where.

Two days later, Akashi and Kana Uzumak, clad in training clothes, could be seen flickering through the luxurious forest of the land of fire one after the other.

"Not bad, continue, put a little more chakra in your steps,"

Akashi was using his sharingan to look at the way his mother was moving her chakra and was trying his best to replicate it while Kana, with her hands crossed on her chest, was flickering backward.

Her whole attention seemed to be fixed on teaching Akashi the body flickered, on giving him pointer and deliberately moving her chakra in her pathway slowly to help him see and copy them she made no mistake as if she had eyes behind her heads, it was completely different from Akashi who often stumble at the slightest perturbation.

At some point, under Akashi's stunned gaze, another Kana appeared beside her.

"What?"

Akashi was stunned with his Sharingan activated he was capable to tell that it was something different than a clone, but he was incapable to tell what it was, Akashi was focused on his mother when.

"Caw," when a bird appeared on his way.

"Bang," Akashi fell on the ground

'Fucking bird,' he pounded his fist on the ground while vented internally.

A simple bird on his path was all it took for him to lose control, for a moment, Akashi just lay on the ground breathing heavily.

"You are learning very fast, don't be disheartened." Kana consoled him after appearing beside him

"You need to be aware of your surrounding and …" Kana gave him a series of pointer like she always did and as always Akashi nodded slowly.

"Is it really the body flickers?" Akashi asked, looking at his mother beside him

Kana didn't answer immediately, waiting for him to continue

"Huh, at some point I felt that the way you made me move my chakra was different," he explained his reasoning.

 Since they started their journey everytime he had a question about chakra or technique Kana made him explain with he thought that.

Of course he didn't need to go into detail, just a simple hunch was sufficient.

"This is the body flickered, just a more advanced variant created by a powerful member of the dove faction of the Uchiha named Kagami Uchiha, your father acquired it after a lot of effort, unfortunately he couldn't learn it so he just gave it to me. It combines a lot of things, speed, precision, explosive power, this is a basic jutsu refined to its maximal potential,"

"Another way to make me train my chakra control. Teach me at least one cool jutsu," Akashi whined.

"I taught you the multiclonage," she replied

"So that I could train more," he retorted

She let out a sigh and sat beside him on the grass,

"I am teaching you cool jutsu, you just don't feel it yet. Chakra control is at the basis of every jutsu, you know that. A lot of Uzumaki compensate their lack of control with their massive reserve, but if you really want to become a powerful ninja capable of using powerful and cool jutsu, you need both."

At that point she started to remove the dirt on Akashi's head.

"You are in a complex situation, you have a lot of advantages like the sharingan that you already have, you have not yet awakened your mind eyes nor you adamantine chains, all those kekei genkai come with a boost in chakra."

"This is a good thing, right? It means that my potential is enormous," he said with a smile, but his mother wasn't smiling.

"Indeed, but it also means that if you aren't careful, your body may just explode one day," she said, and Akashi shuddered seeing how serious she was

"I thought that the yin-yang seal was taking care of that," he asked, touching the seal on his forehead.

"It is?" she answered honestly.

"But as I already told you, your other gifts haven't awakened yet, I do not know how they will react with the ones you already have,"

"And even if this scenario is very unlikely to happened, there are still the possibility that your undeveloped chakra pathway end up unable to accommodate your own chakra, or the possibility that all the yin-and yang chakra in you end up clashing and stifle your growth instead of boosting it as it is currently doing,"

Once Kana was done, the only sound present was the ragged breathing of Akashi, who seemed to have been scared by the words of his mother.

"I didn't know that it was so complicated," he finally said after calming himself.

"Every gift can be a curse if not correctly managed, but if done right no one will be able to even compete with my little angel. Work hard now and with your monstrous talent in the future every path will be available to you, and no one will be able to stop you,"

 "I understand, I didn't know that it was, huh, so dangerous," Akashi sprang on his feet seemingly ready to tackle every obstacle.

"I am a little exaggerating, it's not as bad but it is a real possibility, I didn't want to scare you but…"

"Are you afraid that I will try something behind your back,"

She just smiled at his sentence and looked at him in the eyes with an expression saying 'I know you would,'

"I probably would have done it if I wasn't as tired all the time," he admitted

"Now let's start the next part of the training," Kana said getting

"And what's that?" he asked, curious, and then he saw something on his mother's face, a sad expression that she had shown him a few times.

He wanted to ask why she had such an expression when something caught his attention,

'Chakra!' he thought, turning his head toward his left where he felt a five chakra coming their way.

Two big, he recognized that it was from a jonin and the other from a chunin, the three others were genin.

It's at that moment that Kana turned toward him.

"This is the next part of your training," she said with an icy tone that he was unfamiliar with

"I want you to kill those three genin,"
