Chapter 19: Schemes In The Dark
[ Third Person POV ]
Marineford
The pinnacle of Justice that guards one of the two ways to leave the grandline and enter the New World, under the power of the World Government. They are authorized to protect and serve countries that have joined the alliance of the World Government. Dedicating time and resources to capture the scum of the sea: Pirates.
Inside the office of Fleet Admiral Kong, a meeting was being held. The upper echelons of the marines were there namely: Admiral Sengoku, Vice-Admiral Garp, Admiral Zephyr and Fleet-Admiral Kong. Their gazes were solemn as they reviewed the reports from the battle that they had with the Rocks Pirates. Veins began showing on Fleet-Admiral Kong's forehead as he said, "That bastard Xebec! Always causing mayhem wherever he goes!!" As he said that he slammed his large fist against the table. Causing it to split right into before disintigrating into pieces.
Sengoku looked on, unbothered by his Fleet Admiral's rage before responding, "Don't worry, his time is coming pretty soon, we have been researching their crew, their habits, their affinities and hatred alike. The only glue that keeps these pirates together is Rocks, the moment he dies, the rest of the crew will disband." Garp sat on the couch that was on the left side of the Fleet-Admirals desk, he snored with a bubble popping out of his nose without a care in the world. To this, Admiral Zephyr was about to raise his fist and give Garp a good noggin' before the bubble that Garp had made from his snores popped.
Startling him awake, he looked at the rest of his work partner's and friends before saying, "Sengoku, you like researching to much! Have you ever thought about using your fists instead of your head? It solves problems way faster, you know?" Sengoku's veins bulged out of his forhead before approaching Garp and slamming his head with his fist. Sengoku's shouts could be heard throughout the building.
"Garp!! All you do is punch things! Have YOU ever thought about using that brain of yours for once?!?!?"
To this, Garp began picking his nose before chiding his dear friend happily,"Of Course I have! How else would I have come up with the Idea? Are you dumb, Sengoku?"
Sengoku's rage was palpable, before he could take a couple of steps back to get a running start at drop kicking Garp. Admiral Zephyr held Sengoku until he calmed down, it seemed that it was a natural occurence because Fleet-Admiral Kong and other marines who were within the office didn't do as much as bat an eye.
Ignoring the two bickering higher-ups, Admiral Zephyr seemed to remember something and wasted no time addressing it at the meeting, "Before I forget, something interesting had happened at the beginning of the fight. The weather, which was clear before the start of the battle, suddenly changed into a rowdy storm that didn't let up until the end of the battle. When we were escaping back to marineford." The two bickering friends suddenly stopped trying to get at each other's throats and looked at the Admiral solemnly. They remembered the young individual quite well afterall.
Fleet-Admiral Kong's ears perked up after hearing what Admiral Zephyr had to say. "You say that as if you had seen the cause of the said storm, Zephyr." Fleet-Admiral Kong replied.
Zephyr looked at the clear sky through the window and calmly replied, "A kid seems to have joined the Rocks Pirates, and judging from the fact that he could turn into a dragon. He seems to have obtained a mythical Zoan that hasn't been recorded yet. He will be a huge problem in the future should we let him be."
Fleet-Admiral Kong could only sigh tiredly before saying, "We'll look into him and see his standing at the crew. Hopefully, his affinity with Rocks is not as deep as the others" and just as he finished saying that. The door to flung open, and four men wearing white suits accompanied by masks walked in. The marines inside the office froze as they stared at the group of men with cold expressions, Eventually they stopped right in front of the Fleet-Admiral. One of the masked men finally decided to speak, saying, "Fleet-Admiral Kong, this are your orders from the Five Elders: There will be a Native hunting competition happening two weeks from now. Hosted by the Heavenly Dragons, you are to send guards with them and uphold tight security. To help you, we will be sending a new recruit from our side to help along with the flow of things." With that, they turned around and left the same way they came in.
Garp looked displeased with them, grumbling, "Those stuck up bastards of CP0, all they know to do is worship those weirdos and boss people around!!" Sengoku, hearing this, immeadiately smacked him upside the head, and reprimanded him saying, "Watch your tone, Garp! They probably can still hear you!"
It didn't look like Garp cared whether or not that the CP0 agents could hear his opinions on the World Government. As such, Garp fished out a bag of snacks and promptly began feasting on them. Meanwhile, Fleet-Admiral Kong could only sigh and make arrangements for it. Little did both CP0 and the marines know, that a supposedly subtle event would turn out to be a devastating incident.

Inside a hidden government buiding; a blonde, short haired beautiful woman stood at attention while awaiting orders. A couple of men and women wearing lavish clothing walked in, accompanied by a group of horribly dressed people with collars on their necks. Who were they other than the World Nobles of the world? Looking at the blue eyed beauty who stood at attention, one of the World Nobles smirked and approached her. Right in front of her, the man demanded that the woman become his sixteenth wife. His request....no, demand would be denied by a bald man with glasses, in a white robe and wearing glasses.
The man, who was recognized as one of the five elders, Saint Nasjuro. Would order this blue eyed beauty to guard the World Nobles as they went to West Blue to carry out their festivities. The only thing the woman could do is bow her head and receive the command. The World Noble's pride was hurt, and just as he was about to protest, he looked into the eyes of one of the Five Elders. Nasjuro's gaze penetrating his eyes and gazing upon his soul, the Noble kept his mouth shut and decided to back off. It wasn't worth it, he could find some slaves else where.
