Chapter 33: NIGHT VIBES!!

Joe shoots and mystery walker in the eyes then stabs it in the foot. The mystery walker lets out a scream then slaps Joe in the face sending him flying into a corner.

Mia: Joooeee.

The mystery walker turns around and looks at Mia, the walker instantly appeared behind her. Mia drops to her knees as she cries out for Tommy.

Lee hears Mia's voice and runs towards it.

Rebekah: Are you sure we're going the right way?

Lee: Yes.

A few minutes later Lee and the others reached Mia and Joe's location.

Lee looks at Mia and calls out her name, Mia slowly lifts her head and looks at Lee, she slowly tries to stand up but she didn't have the strength to.

Kol went over and lift her up and puts her on his back.

Kol: I'll carry you if that's okay.

Mia: Thanks Kol.

Mia falls unconscious on Kol's back while they were talking.

Rebekah: We need to find Joe.

Lee: Did you guys hear that?

Rebekah: Hear what?.

Lee: Gunshots...follow me.

Rebekah: Lee look out.

Lee: What?.

Joe's body came crashing into Lee.

Lee: Joe.

Joe: You guys are alive.

Lee: Yes... where's the walker?.

Joe: He's coming.

Joe holds his shoulder in pain.

Lee: Let me see.

Joe moves his hand so that lee could take a look at the wound. Lee looks at the wound and his facial expression drop, "what is it? Joe asked.

Lee: You got bit.

Joe looks at lee with sadness in his eyes. Joe starts to cry for a moment he stops the crying and looks at lee.

Joe: You know what to do.

Rebekah: We got to kill him.

Lee: No we don't. Joe just try to fight the virus, don't let it take over.

Rebekah: You think that can work.

Lee: If we can make it back home Alice will be able to give you some of my blood, it might save you.

Joe: But that's a three days drive.

Lee: Then fight it for three days.

Rebekah: You are the boss, so whatever you say goes.

Lee: If the virus starts to take over I'll take care of it.

Kol: GUYS!.

Lee and Rebekah: WHAT!!

Kol: Mia got bit also.

Rebekah: for shit's sake can nothing go right.

Joe: Where's Tommy.

Lee: He's dead.

Mia woke up and heard when Lee told Joe that Tommy died.

Mia: Tommy's dead?... You are joking right?.

Lee: The walker split Tommy's body into two. I'm sorry that I couldn't protect him.

Mia starts to cry.

Rebekah: You can cry layer but now we need to hide.

Lee starts to feel lightheaded and holds onto his forehead.

Lee:I'm not feeling so good.

Joe: Are you okay.

Lee falls and hit his head on the floor.

Rebekah: Holy fuck.

Rebekah checks Lee's pulse and lets out a sigh.

Rebekah: He's only unconscious.

Kol: Isn't that sooo fucking great...two got bit and one is unconscious. There's a fucking monster out there hunting us like we're rabbits and we've hiding like we are rabbits.

Joe: What's so great about all that?

Kol: I was being sarcastic.

Joe: Oh.

Rebekah: Joe can you still fight.

Joe: Yes.

Rebekah: Mia can you still fight.

Mia: Yes. Probably.

Joe: Let's head upstairs, while I was running from that monster I found a super-secure office.

Rebekah: One question...Who's going to carry Lee.

Joe: I will.

Joe picks up Lee and put him on his shoulder.

Joe: Let's go.

The five continued their journey to the office upstairs. A few minutes passed and they still haven't reached their destination.

Kol: Not to be rude but Mia you're heavy.

Mia: That's so rude.

They all started to laugh.

Joe: Never complain about a woman's weight.

Kol: But she's heavy...how much is your weight Mia? Three hundred pounds.

Mia pinched Kol on the arm and they all started to laugh again.

Rebekah heard something approaching them and told them to stay quiet.

Mia looks up and saw the word kitchen written on one of the doors.

Mia: Let's go inside that room.

They entered the kitchen.

Joe puts down Lee and walks over towards the kitchen sink to drink some water.

Rebekah: Good eye Mia.

Mia: Thanks.

Rebekah: Joe can you give me a cup of water, please.

Joe: Sure.

Joe turns on the pipe and water started to run out of it.

Joe: This place is like a goldmine.

Kol: water and food...that's a win.

Rebekah: all that's left for us to do is to secure this place, which kinda seems impossible at the moment.

Joe: It's not impossible.

Mia: It kinda is. There's a monster out there that not even Lee can kill.

Kol: Lee isn't the strongest fighter.

Rebekah: Lee and I are the only strong ones who can take on that thing. Little brother, you're not much a fighter.

Kol: You have a point.

Mia: We just need to stay alive until Lee wakes up. We can figure out a plan while we wait.

Rebekah: Good idea.

Joe: since lee's out for now we need someone to lead us until he's up.

Mia: You should lead us since you know Lee longer than us, plus your rank is S.

Joe: I think Rebekah should lead us.

Kol: Let's vote on it.

Rebekah: Joe should be the leader. Even though I know that I can lead better than him my main priority is to protect Lee, don't tell you guys forgot that he made me his Bodyguard.

Joe: No we didn't forget.

Kol: Speak for yourself.

Rebekah: Until Lee wakes up I'm not moving from his side.

***MEANWHILE***

***BACK AT THE WHITE HOUSE***

Alice: It's been for too long. Why haven't they come back?

Klaus: Maybe it's taking longer than they expected.

Alice: Brother I want you to go to the factory, bring hewon and Vijay with you.

Klaus: Are you sure?.

Shaw: Don't worry I'm still here. I'll protect you if anything happens.

Auther: why don't you go lady Alice and leave lord Klaus behind.

Alice: Lady?

Klaus: Lord Klaus? I like that.

Auther: The reason why I called you that is because lee's the emperor so that makes you two lords.

Alice: Instead of going forward in time we are going backwards.

Shaw: I like it.

Alice: Okay from now on those who are a part of the high ranks will be called my lord or my lady.

Klaus: So that makes you a lord too Auther and Josie is a young lady.

Ari: I think I should go instead of Alice, Alice is second in command which means it's our duty to protect her.

Klaus: at first we were just people trying to survive but now we're people trying to survive but with a little politics in it.

Alice: What's today's briefing?.

Shaw: thirty persons are asking to be a part of our nation. I told them to stay outside of our borders for now until I can get your permission to let them in.

Alice: Okay, permission is granted to let them in. Let them stay at building thirty (30).

Klaus: We have checked the hundreds of buildings that are in the safe zone and out of all of them only eighty (80) of them can be used for housing civilians.

Alice: We'll use sixty (60) out of the eighty (80) to house civilians. The other twenty (20) will be used for military, medical and food services.

Auther: the tomatoes and pepper trees are starting to grow. We can expect crop in a few months.

Alice: That's great news.

Auther: We need more crops to grow and more land to farm on.

Alice: Alright.

Shaw: We found two helicopters on the roof of one of the buildings we were searching. They seem to be alright, we also found some military vehicles and an ambulance.

Alice: These are all a great find. You will be rewarded for such great work Shaw.

Shaw: Thanks.

Alice: Let's get to work.
