Chapter 69: Feng Xue’er
"Where should I go now? Should I meet with the Feng Xue'er or should I make a visit to the Frozen cloud Asgard?" I asked myself.
After some thinking, I decided to make a visit to the Feng Xue'er. Because I might need to stay some time in Asgard.
So, as soon as I made the decision, I made a portal directly to the Phoenix empire. I entered the portal and came out directly at the sky above the Phoenix Royal palace.
I spread my Divine sense, and very quickly, I found out where the Feng Xue'er was. I felt quite sad when I sensed what she was doing.
I silently appeared near her and looked at her from afar. She looked around 15 to 16 years old and was sitting on the ground and gazing at the sky that was about to get dark.
In terms of appearance, she couldn't compare with Xia Qingyue, but in terms of how delicate and perfect her complexion was, even Xia Qingyue was inferior to her.
Seeing her sitting there silently like a bird in a cage made me sad. Her innocent eyes were searching for something that would help her to move out of this cage.
I knew her fondness for snow, so I decided to give her a small surprise. With a small wave of my finger, Snow started to fall from the sky.
She was surprised at first, but then it changed into excitement and then pure happiness. She got up and laughed. She moved her hand forward and caught some snow.
"Wow! It's snowing. It's snowing." She jumped around like a little kid and started to dance.
I silently took out my phone and started to record her dance secretly. This was a breathtaking scene that needed to be recorded for all eternity.
She stopped dancing after 10 minutes, and this was the shortest ten minutes of my life. I quickly saved the recorded video and made a few copies so that it wouldn't be lost anyway.
It was also at this moment that she noticed my presence. Or I let her notice my presence. She turned to me and looked at me curiously. She was shy and a little fearful, too.
"Who are you? How did you come here?" She asked
"I am Arjun. A traveller, doctor, engineer, Sorcerer, and many more. As for how I got here," I pointed at the sky and said "from there."
She looked at the sky and saw the snow had stopped falling. This made her sad.
"Do you like snow?" I asked her
She didn't say anything, only nodded her head. I smiled and again made snowfall for her. This time, she was surprised and looked at me with wide eyes. It made her look cuter.
"You can make snow?" She asked
"Yes, I can." I replied while nodding my head. Her eyes started to sparkle and asked "can you teach me?"
I paused, listening to her. She understood that she made a mistake. So she bowed and said "sorry, you don't have to if you don't want to."
I shook my head and said "it's not that I don't want to, it's that you cultivate opposite elements of water, so it's not possible for you to learn how to make snow."
My reply made her sad again. She also remembered her study and knew that I wasn't lying. It's just that she forgot about this fact due to her excitement.
She looked at the snow longingly. I couldn't bear it, so I blurted out "if you want, I can make snow whenever you want."
Her eyes lit up and asked "Really?" But again, she remembered her situation and shook her head and said "no you wouldn't be able to. If my father finds out, he will punish you."
Hearing her, I couldn't help but laugh out loud. Was there anyone alive here who could have punished me? The answer is no.
"Why are you laughing?" She asked confusedly
"Sorry, I remember something funny. Don't worry about your father. I will hide when he comes." I replied as I wiped the tears from my eyes.
She blinked twice and then nodded. Then she ignored me and started to look at the snow again. Though the sun was already down, it didn't bother her from enjoying the snow.
I sat on the ground and then laid down as I looked at the starry sky. Snow automatically skipped the area around me. Xue'er continued to play with the snow.
