The Worst Villain is Actually a Cute Girl

Chapter 0

Chapter 0: Prologue

A certain organization was annihilated.

Although it was a newly established group only two years old, it had grown so rapidly in that short time that it couldn’t be underestimated.

Its influence was immense, enough to shake the entire city.

Its overwhelming potential and growth rate had drawn the attention of other organizations and problem solvers.

Known as the “supernova of crime syndicates,” this extraordinary group came to an end overnight.

“Guh…!”

Amid the wreckage of a ruined building.

The dead subordinates lay strewn about.

The boss of the organization clutched at his wounds, gasping for breath.

Even while witnessing the nightmare-like scene before his eyes, he couldn’t comprehend it.

Just yesterday, they had won a battle against another organization, and only hours ago, they were celebrating their victory.

But why? Why?

The wounded boss coughed violently, spitting out blood.

Truly, this was an overwhelming foe.

In the hands of just one individual, countless members of the organization had been slaughtered.

Effortlessly, mercilessly, this figure eliminated the subordinates as though reaping lives like the Grim Reaper.

Who on earth could it be?

Through the shattered debris, someone approached.

A faint yet ominous black aura radiated from them.

Heavy footsteps echoed, and an icy chill enveloped the dying boss.

The boss gulped and held his breath.

Even through his blurred vision, he could clearly recognize the intruder.

A towering figure clad in massive armor and a skull-shaped mask beneath a helmet.

A height surpassing two meters and an enormous build.

Like a demon from the Bible, horrifying and monstrous, this being seemed like death and terror incarnate.

No one living in the city could fail to recognize these features.

He had heard the rumors well enough to know.

The Grim Reaper, one of the “Four Great Organizations” reigning at the pinnacle of the underworld.

A group composed of just one person yet hailed as the strongest monster.

The most dangerous and unhinged being, avoided by everyone.

“Hahaha, no wonder we didn’t stand a chance. Cough, cough… Before I die, at least tell me. Why did you attack us? We didn’t invade your territory. So why…? Cough, cough!”

The Grim Reaper’s motives were unknown to anyone.

Unlike other organizations, it didn’t strive to expand its power or influence.

It simply appeared and disappeared unpredictably.

The problem was that wherever it appeared, disaster followed, causing enormous destruction.

Why had such a being set its sights on him?

At the very least, he wanted to know the reason before he died.

“Haah… Haah…”

As two flickering blue lights, like ghostly flames, gazed down at the boss, his breathing grew heavier.

The pressure was immense.

Death stood before him.

Screech, screech.

The Grim Reaper began to write something on the ground with a sword.

[…ㅋ…ㅔ.]

“…What?”

[케이크.]

The boss momentarily wondered if his eyes were playing tricks on him.

Otherwise, why would this monstrous being write such an incongruous word?

[케이크.]

The Grim Reaper pointed at the word written with the sword.

The boss, staring up blankly at the Reaper, looked utterly bewildered.

[Because of you, I couldn’t eat the cake I wanted. This is revenge for that.]

“….”

The boss’s mind went completely blank from the shock.

Like a broken machine, his expression froze, little by little.

Had they really annihilated his organization over something so trivial?

He wanted to curse and scream, “What nonsense!” but his lips refused to move.

Like a frightened child, he could only remain still.

His pale gaze stayed fixed on the Grim Reaper.

As though it had finished its business, the Grim Reaper turned and walked away.

The dying boss, unable to utter a single word of resentment toward the Reaper’s terror, drew his last breath.

Thus, the rumor that the Grim Reaper had destroyed yet another organization spread quickly.

One of the other “Four Great Organizations” was left dumbfounded.

“That lunatic. Can’t they just behave for once?”

The city’s mayor was in chaos.

“Hurry! Move faster! Organize the files and report to each department immediately!”

The problem solvers trembled with a mix of fear and curiosity.

“Is it true? Did the Grim Reaper really make a move again?”

“Whenever they act, death always follows.”

The entire city was in an uproar.

* * *

Amid a filthy place littered with debris of varying sizes.

There stood a somewhat intact building, though even it was cracked.

Inside, the broken-down, worn-out items were arranged neatly, resembling trash.

Within that space was the Grim Reaper.

The armor, helmet, and mask it wore dissipated into mist and disappeared.

Revealing a petite, white-haired girl who was less than half its size.

‘Finally, I feel better. If they wanted to fight, they should’ve fought amongst themselves. Why did they have to mess with a cake shop and stop me from eating cake?’

A girl who looked like she should be chattering away excitedly in an elementary school classroom or studying hard.

‘I wish everyone could follow my example and behave quietly.’

This was the true form of the Grim Reaper, the one who shook the entire world.
