The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system

She didn't go to their bedroom first but went to the twins room. In there, she found Wu Gang still sketching and Wu Wei reading from one of the English textbooks she had bought for them.

She barged in so suddenly that the twins were caught off guard. They reacted rather unusually with Wu Gang hiding the sketches under his bed while Wu Wei for some reason hid the English text book as well.

The two were sitting on their individual beds which were on opposite ends of the room. Each side was decorated differently, showing the individual styles of the two brothers. Wu Gang's side of the wall was painted black because it was apparently his favorite color while Wu Wei's side was blue.

They had individual closets and cabinets. The only thing they shared was the bathroom.

"Sister, what are you doing in here?" Wu Wei asked.

"Oh, your brother-in-law and I are going to spend the night at his mothers place so i wanted to see if you need anything before we leave." She answered.

Wu Wei shook his head.

"Alright. I am going to leave some cash on the table. If you feel like ordering for something don't be shy about it. Remember that i am only one phone call away so if anything happens, make sure that you call me. Also, don't go to bed late, tomorrow is a school day and you have to wake up early."

"Yes." Wu Gang responded perfunctorily.

"Remember to call me if anything happens, hmm, anything at all. It doesn't matter how small it is, just call me if it makes you worry." she repeated again with so much emphasis.

She approached Wu Gang first and tousled his hair. He raised his head and she smiled.

"Our Wu Gang, you are so cute as always."

As he wanted, she kissed his forehead before moving on and doing the same to Wu Wei. Then, she turned around and headed to the door.

Like a nagging adult, she still turned around once more to repeat the same warnings she had already given them. "Remember not to stay up late, okay? You can call me even if you have a nightmare. I can sing you a lullaby and help put you to sleep. You can also also call if you just miss me and just want to hear your sister's voice."

Wu Wei covered his eyes. She didn't have to go the extra mile like singing them lullabies. They were not kids like Xiaobo.

"Elder sister, we are fine." he told her.

She nodded and sighed, then left the bedroom truly, closing the door behind her. Even though the boys were undeniably safe, she still worried about them staying home alone.

Her phone made a noise, alerting her to a notification which prompted her to look at it. She had received a few texts and a whole lot of calls that had gone unanswered.

"Twenty five missed calls from Jing Hee!" she exclaimed.

"You have her right where you want her." The system told her.

"Amazing, she is so swollen that is ready to pop now." Alix responded in her mind.

"It's probably because of this..." the system said.

It went ahead to play a recording for her and she listening to Billi ranting about murder-suicide. Even in her state, she was determined to take Alix along with her whether it was to ruination or death.

"Is she nuts?" she huffed. "Hey, do i owe this crazy woman anything? Did i do something to her in her past life that i must atone for in this one? Even now, she wants to go down together as if we are obsessed lovers of some kind that have made a vow to die together."

Alix groaned and she was loud enough to catch the attention of her husband who passed by her and went into their bedroom.

Another notification came and she opened a group chat which included her friends. In there, Jin Kang was sharing pictures of herself.

Jin Kang: [My temporary boyfriend took me to the ski at the resort. I have had the best weekend, it was so romantic. Guys, we should use our dividends this year to take a vacation.]

Thanks to the pictures and post, the group chat was very active, especially between Jin Kang and Zhang An.

Jin Kang: [He also prepared this fireworks show for me after we finished skiing and booked a hot stone massage. I have never been treated this wonderfully before.....sobbing emojis]

Zhang An: [My new permanent boyfriend sent me tickets to the ice and snow world. We are going next weekend, don't envy us.]

Jin Kang: [Rich girl, did you have to add permanent? The only permanent man is one who puts a ring on your finger.]

Zhang An: [Sister Jin, i was not being shady or pretentious. I apologize if you feel like i aimed for you.]

Holea: [If you two want to share your amazing dates, do so in your inboxes. Also, Jin Kang let's not pretend that we all are not worried about your relationship. Have fun, but be careful and take care not to end up with the short end of the stick. But since we are showing off how our men are treating us, my husband cooked lunch and dinner today. He took Mumu to the arcade so that i could get two hours of sleep during the day and he has just given me a foot massage.]

Alix sneered and laughed. It sounded like Holea was also showing off. She couldn't decide who the bigger show off was among her friends.

But, she figured it was all in good fun.

Alix: [Since we are showing off, i would like to share that my hubby told me he likes me today and just so you know, i like him too.]

Jin Kang: [Kyaaaaaa!!!! Mama Holea keep pretending.]

Zhang An: [Sister-in-law, what are you trying to mean? Is this love i am smelling in the air?]

Holea: [No comment.]

Jin Kang: [Hehehe, did your husband confess to you? I want all the details my friend, this is so exciting.]

Jin Kang spammed the group with dozens of fireworks. And then, to everyone's great shock and pleasure, Zhang An sent out red packets, dozens of them.

While Jin Kang and Alix were in shock, Holea snatched all of them.

Holea: [Thank you generous patron.]

Alix: [In the spirit of my good news, i will be generous as well.]

She sent out a dozen red packets while laughing in her silly villainous voice.

Jin Kang: [One yuan!!! One yuan in each red packet!!! Alix, shame on you. What kind of rich madam are you? I vote that we kick her out of the group.]

Zhang An: [Thank you generous patron but what can you buy with one yuan?]

Jin Kang: [Nothing! Absolutely nothing, zero, air, fart.]

Holea: [Sending a link to things that one can buy with one yuan. Also, Jin Kang why mention farting here? You have lost it.]

Caishen returned to find her laughing while she had been frowning only a minute or so ago.

She was so confusing, one minute hot and the next cold.
