However, they chose not to fly this time but strolled leisurely instead. According to Yuujin, he wanted to see what the former capital of this once-prosperous world had turned into.

As expected, Kaiselukin City had become a haven for criminals, just like other areas. Many idle criminals and thugs roamed about, wrecking the city and searching for any remaining hidden residents.

Explosions, the sound of smashing, and the maniacal laughter of the criminals had become the city's only symphony.

While walking along the city streets, Yuujin's group naturally attracted the attention of many nearby criminals.

Not to mention the Snake Princess, renowned as the first beauty of the Underworld, even Mai, Hao Siqii, and Violet were stunningly beautiful. "You're soldiers of the human race, yet you've sided with the Demon King Piccolo?"

Yuujin spoke, his tone carrying a hint of mockery.

A flash of guilt crossed the soldiers' faces, and one replied, "We didn't have a choice."

"Young man, take these women and children and leave quickly; there's no saving this world anymore."

It seemed these soldiers, unlike the criminals, still had some conscience and kindly warned Yuujin's group.

Yuujin nodded but then said, "We're here to eliminate the Demon King Piccolo. Let us in."

"What?!!"

"You... you're here to eliminate the Demon King Piccolo?!"

"Don't be ridiculous!"

"You don't understand how powerful he is! Many who tried to take him down were killed by him and his demon minions. There's no way you can stand against him!"

"Take your women and children and go, young man, before anyone else finds you."

The soldiers were shaken by Yuujin's bold statement and began speaking excitedly.

To them, Yuujin was utterly foolish for wanting to challenge the powerful Demon King Piccolo. And he wasn't alone—he'd even brought women and children along.

The guy was probably insane!!!

"Heh heh heh..."

Violet and Hao Siqi couldn't help but laugh; their almighty master was being doubted by two mere soldiers. Yuujin was slightly speechless as well but didn't bother explaining, simply releasing a hint of his own energy...

"Demon King Piccolo, several resistance groups have appeared in Zone 23. The criminals and thugs you released have been wiped out by them."

Inside the palace, a demon with wings on his back reported to the Demon King Piccolo, who sat on the throne.

"Resistance groups here?"

"In my world, I won't tolerate any presence of justice. Tambourine, Cymbal, Drum, go eliminate the resistance groups in Zone 23."

"No, destroy all of Zone 23!"

Furrowing his brow, the Demon King Piccolo revealed a cruel smile.

"Understood, Demon King Piccolo."

The three demons also smiled wickedly, but the king standing nearby anxiously stepped forward—

"Demon King Piccolo, you can't do that!"

"Many humans live in Zone 23—you can't destroy it!"

Ever since the appearance of the Demon King Piccolo, the king had lived each day in fear.

Though he was extremely frightened of the tyrannical Piccolo, he couldn't remain silent, knowing countless lives were at stake.

"Why can't I destroy it? I'm the king of this world now."

"Not only will I destroy Zone 23, but I'll also destroy the entire Earth and all of humanity!"

"Hahahahahaha!!!!!!!"

The Demon King Piccolo laughed maniacally, while the king looked on in grief.

He was too weak; it was all because he was too weak. Before the tyrannical Demon King Piccolo, he could do nothing!

Just then, Piccolo's laughter halted, and even the three demons, Tambourine, Cymbal, and Drum, looked shocked.

A presence—an extraordinarily powerful presence.

Just outside the palace!

"Who's there?!"

Gathering energy in his palm, the Demon King Piccolo launched a powerful Wave, blasting it through the building toward the powerful presence outside.

Meanwhile, outside the palace—

Sizzle!

Seeing the energy blast speeding toward him, Yuujin raised his hand, swatting it aside, causing it to land in the distant street, where it erupted in a violent explosion.

"Ahhhh..."

The ground trembled constantly, causing the two soldiers to fall to the ground, while little Suno next to Yuujin hugged her head in fear.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine."

"If you're scared, Suno, you can leave here for now."

Yuujin said, patting the young girl's forehead.

"No... I'm not scared."

"Lord Yuujin, I want to stay with you all!"

Clenching her small fists, Suno spoke.

Yuujin found it amusing—though she was trembling with fear, she was doing her best to be brave. What an adorable little girl she was.

"If you're not scared, then stay with us."

"Let's go in and meet the Demon King Piccolo."
