This Isn't Canon! (Or that time I reincarnated into an AU-Naruto)

I do want to get chapters out soon - but this isn't that.

Basically, for the past two or three months or so I've tried to write for this story, and even once or twice for Fire's Will, and just nothing comes out. I sit down, I write a hundred words, and I either hate it - or feel exhausted. A classic case of burnout, even though I've barely written anything for Naruto in what - like half a year? Anyway, I'm 800 or so words deep into the next chapter for this, so a chapter WILL come out soon, and hopefully more.

But, the sad fact is, I can sit down and write another story, and pop out 2 or 3k words in one sitting. In fact, I can do this for multiple other stories; and I think the reality is just my love for Naruto was at its peak when I started this, and kind of is just now at a low. So - here's what the plan is. I'm going to brute force my way through till the end of the Chunin Exams, no matter how long it takes. Then, I'm gonna re-read this story in its entirety, re-writing, grammar checking, plot hole fixing, etc. I know for a fact writing in Shippuden WILL be easier and more fun - as in reality, my ideas for this story started out in Shippuden, and all this has basically been me making shit up on the fly, and working up to it. I think the truth is also, I just really hate writing canon events/arcs.

But, I'm gonna leave it up to y'all. Do you want me to upload the projects I actually can write for freely, or do you want me to wait till I manage to wrap up the Chunin Exams? Also, the hilarity of this being the most I've written in one sitting for this story in the past 3 months is not lost on me.
