Chapter 19: Vol/Sea 2 Chapter #8: Make a Man out of You

Hello, fellow Masters-in-arms! I'm proud to introduce another chapter of this crossover. Quick note — Chapter 6 marked the beginning of Volume/Season 2. I don't own any properties from FGO or HS DxD except for my OCs.

Also, I'm open for commissions! If you'd like your story written, feel free to send me a private message.

Far from any city, surrounded by rugged peaks and dense forests, a grand villa perched on the side of a mountain stood as a testament to seclusion and luxury. The training grounds nearby were less refined—a simple dirt arena carved into the mountain's edge, where the air was thin and unforgiving.

Issei Hyoudou lay face-first in the dirt, groaning in pain, while Koneko Toujou sat slumped against a boulder, her usual stoic expression replaced by exhaustion. Yuuto Kiba, panting heavily, was down on one knee, clutching the hilt of a broken sword. Sweat dripped from his brow as he looked up at the two figures standing before them.

Kio Han-bin and Ane stood side by side, their postures relaxed but their presence overwhelming.

"You're strong," Yuuto admitted, his voice strained, "incredibly strong."

Kio adjusted his black gloves, his expression calm and unreadable. Ane, on the other hand, grinned brightly, her enthusiasm radiating off her like sunlight.

---(A Few Days Earlier)---

Back in the Han-bin residence, the living room was unusually lively. Rias Gremory sitting on the couch, her crimson hair shining under the soft lighting. Her usual confident demeanor was replaced by a mix of frustration and determination.

Across from her sat Kio, his arms crossed as he listened intently. Ane lounged beside him, twirling a strand of her long white hair, while Leonardo stood by the island table counter, tinkering with a small gadget. Asia sat near Issei, her expression filled with concern.

"We don't have much time," Rias began, her voice steady but strained. "I am engage to Riser Phenexe and in ten days, we'll be facing him in a Rating Game. He's already assembling his peerage, and I can't back out of this fight."

Issei slammed his hands on the table, his face a mixture of anger and desperation. "That arrogant bastard is trying to take away her freedom, I can't allow that! And besides, that fucker was flaunting his harem right in front of me. It irks me so." Crying tears of blood, cursing under his breath.

Kio, confusingly itched his ear, "Is he serious!? Please tell me, I did not hear that right."

"Unfortunately yes and you did," they all chimed in.

"We need help," Yuuto added, his tone calm but resolute.

Rias looked directly at Kio, her crimson eyes pleading. "That's why I'm asking you, who is the strongest human I have seen. Train us. Help us get stronger. Please."

Kio leaned back in his chair, his expression unreadable. "I'm not interested in getting involved in your affairs," he said plainly.

"But—" Rias began, only for Kio to raise a hand to silence her.

"Your family drama isn't my problem," he continued. "I have enough on my plate without getting dragged into a fight that doesn't concern me. A waste of my energy."

Everyone looked deflated, but it was Asia who stood up, her emerald eyes filled with determination, grabbing Kio's hands.

"Nanashi," she said softly, her voice trembling slightly. "Please. They're my friends. They've done so much for me, and I want to help them. But I can't do it alone."

Kio expression softening just a fraction.

"Besides," Leonardo chimed in, a teasing smirk on her face, "It'd be a good experience for you. Who knows? Maybe you'll enjoy being a sensei."

"I could wear a business suit and everything!" Ane added excitedly, clapping her hands together. "Come on, Nanashi! It'll be fun!"

Kio let out a long, tired sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I'll regret this," he muttered under his breath. After a moment of silence, he finally relented. "Fine. I'll train you."

The room erupted into cheers and sighs of relief, but Kio raised a hand to quiet them.

"But don't expect me to go easy on you," he warned, his tone carrying an edge of finality. "If you want to get stronger, you'll have to earn it. Just give us the date and location and we'll meet you there"

As Rias and her friends leave, Kio pulls Rias to the side, "I hope you understand that this requires compensation, correct?" she nod her head, "Of course, I'll pay anything, if it means my freedom away from Riser."

"Alright," Kio agrees, "One more thing, make sure you bring whoever is hiding within the sealed room, inside your club house" she hesitates, saying "That is…." Kio interrupts, "No excuses, Bring them. If you don't you could forget my help." She slowly nods "I will bring him."

The winding mountain trail stretched endlessly before them, surrounded by towering pines and jagged rocks. Rias and her peerage trekked upward, the uneven path testing their endurance.

Issei lagged behind, his groans echoing through the quiet forest. "Why do we have to climb this stupid mountain?" he whined, wiping sweat from his forehead. "This isn't training, it's torture!"

"Quit complaining, Issei," Rias said, her tone gentle but firm as she walked ahead with Akeno. "If you don't push yourself now, you'll never survive the Rating Game."

Akeno glanced back with her usual playful smile. "Come on, Issei. You don't want to embarrass yourself in front of everyone, do you?"

Issei groaned louder, trudging along with even less enthusiasm. "Easy for you to say... You're not carrying a backpack filled with bricks!"

Suddenly, Yuuto and Koneko strode past him, each carrying significantly heavier loads. Yuuto effortlessly balancing a large crate on one shoulder. "On your left," he said casually as he passed.

Koneko followed, carrying and even larger load as well as holding a massive Amazon box above her head like it weighed nothing. She gave Issei a blank stare as she passed, her monotone voice cutting to the core. "Weakling."

Issei's jaw dropped. "Are you kidding me?!

After what felt like an eternity to Issei, the group finally reached the grand villa nestled on the mountain's edge. The imposing structure seemed out of place amidst the rugged wilderness, its elegance and size a testament to the wealth behind its construction.

Kio stood at the villa's entrance, his posture relaxed but commanding. Ane leaned casually against the doorframe, her excitement practically radiating off her as she grinned at the approaching group. Leonardo was seated nearby on a stone bench, typing on her tablet, while Asia stood beside her, waving enthusiastically as the group arrived.

"You guys made it, welcome to hell!" Kio said simply, his calm voice carrying over the group's exhausted breaths.

"Finally!" Issei groaned, collapsing onto the ground. "This is the worse!"

"Get up, Hyoudou," Kio said, his tone sharp and unkind. "The hard part hasn't even started yet."

Issei's face went pale as he stared up at Kio. "What do you mean 'the hard part'?!"

Rias stepped forward, ignoring Issei's protests as she addressed Kio directly. "We're here, as promised," she said. Her voice carried confidence, though a hint of nervousness flickered beneath the surface.

Leonardo stood up from her bench, dusting off her hands with an air of confidence. "Alright, everyone," she began, her tone light but authoritative, "I've set up your training regimen to make the most of these ten days."

She gestured toward Rias and Akeno. "You two will start with me on magic and strategic development. If you're going to beat someone like Riser, you'll need more than raw power—you'll need precision and tactics."

Rias nodded, her determination evident. Akeno smiled warmly, her usual elegance masking her anticipation.

Leonardo turned to Yuuto. "You're going with Ane for Sacred Gear development. She's the best at pushing limits, so prepare yourself."

Yuuto gave a small, polite bow. "Understood." Ane grinned widely, cracking her knuckles in excitement.

"Issei and Koneko," Leonardo continued, "you'll be staying with Nanashi for sparring practice. He's going to beat the basics into you, whether you like it or not."

Issei groaned, his shoulders slumping. "Great. I'm gonna die, aren't I?"

Koneko, ever stoic, merely nodded in acknowledgment, though the faintest twitch of her lips hinted at amusement.

"And last but not least," Leonardo said, gesturing dramatically toward Koneko, "our final participant." The box trembled violently, and a muffled "Eep!" escaped from inside.

Everyone turned their attention to Koneko, who was holding the large Amazon box above her head.

"What's in there?" Issei asked, tilting his head in confusion.

Before anyone could answer, a small, shaky voice emerged from the box. "I'm scared! I'm too weak to be any help to anyone!"

Kio's patience snapped. He walked over to Koneko, took the box from her hands, and gave it a light shake. "Listen here, you brat," he said, his voice calm but laced with irritation. "Your mistress is about to have her freedom taken away, and this is what you have to show for it? Where's your backbone?"

"Stranger danger! Stranger danger!" the voice shrieked, the box shaking even more violently.

Rias and the others watched in stunned silence, worried about what would happen next.

Before anyone could intervene, a smooth, commanding voice called out from the shade of the nearby villa.

"Now, now, Nanashi," the voice said, its tone carrying a regal authority. "You must be patient with these fledglings. They've only just begun their journey."

All heads turned toward the source of the voice.

Emerging from the shadows was a tall, imposing man with an air of refined nobility. His long, blond hair flowed past his shoulders, turning blue at the end. His piercing blue eyes seemed to glow faintly, exuding a sense of wisdom and danger. He wore an intricate black and coat adorned with silver accents, the fabric embroidered with intricate patterns.

Kio let out a quiet sigh, his irritation subsiding slightly. Without a word, he dropped the box onto the ground with an audible thud.

"Ouch!" the voice inside yelped in pain and surprise. "That hurt. Why would you do that?!"

The man approached, shaking his head with an amused smile. "Nanashi, whatever happened to the kind boy I once knew?"

Kio crossed his arms, his face expressionless. "He's not here right now."

Vlad chuckled, the sound deep and warm. "So it seems."

He turned his attention to the box, crouching down to its level. Placing a hand gently on the side, he spoke, his voice low and steady. "Tell me, little one. Do you want to become strong?"

The box quivered slightly, and a hesitant voice replied, "I... I don't know if I can..."

The man's blue eyes narrowed slightly, his tone gaining a sharp edge. "Do you want to continue living in fear? To remain a coward? To stay stagnated while the world around you evolves and moves forward?"

There was a long pause. Then, a small crack appeared in the side of the box, and a pair of wide, uncertain eyes peeked out. "Is it... really alright for someone like me to be strong? To be... a man?"

The man's stern expression softened into a smile. Reaching forward, he forced the box open with a single motion, revealing the figure inside.

Sitting in the remains of the box was a young boy with pale skin and soft, effeminate features. His short, blond hair framed his delicate face, and his large, ruby-red eyes darted nervously between everyone. He wore a Kuoh Academy girl's uniform, and his small stature made him seem even younger than he was.

The boy curled in on himself, clearly unsure of how to react to the sudden attention.

The man's eyes widened slightly in surprise. "A Dhampir," he said, his tone laced with curiosity and recognition.

Kio, who had remained silent up to this point, furrowed his brow. The aura the young boy exuded felt oddly familiar, reminding him of someone. "Astolfo," he muttered under his breath, the comparison forming in his mind. "Could this kid be the Astolfo of this world." feeling uneasy.

Vlad smiled warmly at the boy, his expression both encouraging and kind. "Bună ziua! (Hello!)" he greeted in Romanian, his voice carrying a melodic quality.

The boy blinked in surprise, then hesitated before responding with a small grin. "Bună ziua!" he replied shyly, his Romanian accented but understandable.

As the man and the boy exchanged a few words in their shared language, the nervous energy around the Dhampir seemed to fade slightly. The boy's shoulders relaxed, and his expression brightened.

Turning to the rest of the group, the man straightened and gestured toward the boy. "For those of you who don't know me, greetings" he said with a smile, "My name is Victor, I am one of Nanashi's masters. It is a pleaser to meet you all."

The boy looked up at the man with wide eyes before turning to the group and giving a small, awkward wave.

"Um... hi. I'm Gasper Vladi," he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper.

Rias let out a quiet breath, the tension she hadn't realized she was holding finally easing. "I'm surprised," she said, her voice a mix of relief and wonder, "and relieved, honestly. I thought something bad might happen with all the commotion."

Her crimson eyes shifted to Gasper, softening as she spoke. "Well done, Gasper. I'm glad."

Gasper gave a timid nod, his gaze darting nervously between everyone. "Th-thank you, President," he stammered.

Meanwhile, Issei stood frozen, his jaw hanging wide open as he stared at Gasper in utter disbelief. "No way..." he mumbled, pointing dramatically. "No fucking way! That cute little face... that's a guy?!"

His voice rose into a near-shriek as he borderline threw a tantrum, stomping his foot like a child. "This is some kind of cosmic joke! There's no way someone that cute isn't a girl!"

Gasper flinched at the sudden outburst, his cheeks turning crimson as he tried to shrink into himself. "I... I'm sorry?"

Kio sighed, rubbing his temples. "Hyoudou, stop making a scene."

But Issei was too caught up in his own theatrics. "This is unfair! It's like the universe is mocking me!" he whined.

Before anyone could respond, a glowing magic circle appeared on the ground near the group. The elegant design pulsed with a soft red light before two figures stepped out of it.

Standing side by side were two young women, identical in appearance, with long black hair tied into neat ponytails. Their sharp crimson eyes were strikingly familiar, and their matching maid uniforms were pristine, adorned with subtle accents of gray and black.

They bowed in unison, their movements perfectly synchronized. "Greetings," they said simultaneously, their voices calm and professional.

The maid on the left stepped forward slightly, placing a hand over her chest. "I am Mira."

The other maid mirrored the gesture. "And I am Sierra."

Together, they straightened and continued, "We have been sent by Lady Grayfia to assist during your ten days here at the villa."

Rias blinked in surprise. "Grayfia sent you?"

"Yes, Lady Rias," Mira replied. "We are here to ensure everything runs smoothly, from your training schedules to your meals."

Sierra nodded. "If there is anything you require, do not hesitate to let us know."

Issei, momentarily distracted from his tantrum, perked up at the sight of the twins. "Wait, two hot demon maids?!" he exclaimed, his eyes practically sparkling, a perverted grin etched on his face. "This just got a whole lot better!"

The twins whispered to one another "Sister, sister. I feel very uncomfortable around Lady Rias' new pawn" Sierra states. "Agreed, it feels like he is undressing us with those perverted eyes of his, sister." Mira responds.

Koneko, munching on a snack, muttered under her breath, "Idiot."

Rias sighed, placing her palm on her face. "Thank you, Mira, Sierra. Please ensure that nothing goes wrong."

The twins exchanged a glance before bowing again. "Understood."

The twins, Mira and Sierra, quickly and efficiently took charge of the supplies they'd brought with them. With practiced grace, they carried the various boxes and crates into the villa though magic, each step perfectly synchronized.

"We'll ensure everything is organized and ready for your stay," Mira said, her tone calm and composed.

Sierra nodded, adding, "Please focus on your training. Leave the rest to us."

As the maids disappeared into the villa, Kio and Leonardo stepped forward, drawing everyone's attention.

"Alright," Kio began, his tone calm but authoritative. "Before we get into the real training, we're starting with a warm-up."

Leonardo grinned mischievously, clearly enjoying the moment. "A nice, simple run to the peak of the mountain," she said, pointing toward the towering summit above them. "Five laps."

Issei's jaw dropped, his exhaustion from the earlier trek still fresh in his mind. "Five laps?! Are you kidding me? We just came up from the base!"

Kio turned his head toward Issei, "A strong soul rests within a strong mind and body," he said, his voice calm yet firm.

Issei opened his mouth to argue again, but Kio's next words cut him off. "Unless you'd prefer to make it ten laps instead."

The threat hung in the air, and Issei quickly shut his mouth, grumbling under his breath as he reluctantly joined the others at the starting point.

As the group ran into the forest towards the peak, Asia hesitated for a moment before approaching Kio. "Um, Kio?" she said softly, her emerald eyes filled with determination.

He turned toward her, tilting his head slightly. "What is it?"

"I... I'd like to join the training," she said, clasping her hands together.

Kio frowned, hesitating at her request. "Why?" he asked, his tone neutral but curious.

Asia took a deep breath, summoning her courage. "I want to be strong," she said, her voice steady despite her nervousness. "I want to be able to help everyone with my powers, to be able to support everyone with all my might."

Kio regarded her for a moment, his expression unreadable. Finally, he nodded. "Alright," he said. "But don't push yourself too hard. If I feel that you are unable to continue, I'll pull you out. Understood?"

Asia nodded enthusiastically. "Yes. I'll do my best!"

Before Kio could respond, Ane walked up to Asia with a playful grin. "Don't worry, Asia," she said, draping an arm around the blonde girl's shoulders. "I'll join you. Let's show these guys what we've got!"

Asia smiled brightly, her nerves easing. Together, the two of them started running to catch up with the rest of the group.

Standing off to the side, Victor observed the scene with a faint smirk. "You have quite the unique group of friends, Kio," he said, his voice carrying a note of amusement.

Kio groans, his tone flat as he replied, "They're not my friends. They're just clientele, Lord Vlad III."

Vlad III chuckled, his piercing blue eyes gleaming with amusement. "There is nothing wrong with becoming their friend; I can feel that they are good kids. Uh~ but that Issei kid, kind of reminds me of Black Beard." he said, his tone lighthearted despite the sharpness of Kio's remark.

"At least Black Beard is a self proclaimed gentleman." Kio chuckles a little.

Later that day, everyone was in their assigned places, diligently working on their respective tasks. Rias, Akeno, and Asia were gathered in the study room, immersed in the fundamentals of magic. Books, scrolls, and glowing magical artifacts surrounded them as they also analyzed videos of Riser's previous Rating Games. Each clip showcased his tactics, his reliance on regeneration, and his overwhelming peerage, which Rias and Akeno dissected with sharp focus. Meanwhile, Asia quietly practiced basic spells under Leonardo's watchful eye.

In the villa's basement, Vlad III and Gasper were hard at work. Vlad was guiding the timid Dhampir through the basics of being a vampire. Gasper's nervous demeanor slowly gave way to curiosity as Vlad's authoritative yet patient instruction helped him understand his nature and potential.

At the makeshift training ground, Yuuto and Ane were sparring fiercely. Ane's sharp eye and relentless energy exposed flaws in Yuuto's fighting style, offering pointers on how to better utilize his Sacred Gear, Sword Birth. The information and training plans provided by Leonardo had given her the tools to push Yuuto beyond his current limits.

On the other hand, Issei and Koneko were with Kio in the nearby forest. The air was filled with the sounds of exertion as Kio and Koneko engaged in a light sparring session. Their movements were fluid yet precise, the clash of their skills blending seamlessly with the serene backdrop of the forest. Meanwhile, Issei was focused on working out his body, sweating through a routine of weights and cardio to build strength and stamina.

As the day drew to a close and training wrapped up, Kio dismissed Issei. "Head back to the villa," he instructed. "I'll finish up here with Koneko."

Issei, panting and eager for a break, nodded. "Got it. Don't kill each other, okay?" he joked weakly before trudging back toward the villa.

Kio turned his attention to Koneko, his expression serious. "Let's get straight to the point," he said. "You're holding back your true power, Nekomata."

Koneko stiffened, her usually stoic face darkening with a mix of fear and anger. "I'm nothing like those monsters," she snapped, her voice cold and defensive. "Don't compare me to them."

From the nearest tree, a figure watched silently. Kuroka's golden eyes gleamed as she observed the exchange.

He turned his head slightly, his voice sharp as he called out, "You can stop hiding now, Kuroka."

Kuroka leapt gracefully from the tree, landing softly on the ground. Her face showed sorrow, the pain of standing face to face with the person she hurt the most

Koneko's eyes widened in fury, her hands clenching into fists. "Murderer! Traitor!" she shouted, her voice trembling with rage. Without hesitation, she charged at Kuroka, her movements fueled by raw emotion.

Before she could land a blow, Kio intercepted her, stepping between the two sisters. "Enough," he said firmly, his voice cutting through the charged atmosphere.

"Why are you protecting her?" Koneko demanded, glaring up at him. "Because there are two sides to every story," he said. "And it's time you heard hers. As well as to help you train in Senjutsu. You need it if you want to give this Rating Game your all."

Koneko's expression twisted with defiance. "I won't learn anything from her!" she snapped.

Kio's hand rested firmly on her shoulder, his voice low and steady. "If you don't give this your best effort, Gremory will lose her freedom. Is that what you want?"

Koneko froze, her resistance faltering. After a long moment, she sighed heavily. "Fine," she muttered, her dissatisfaction clear.

Kuroka's face hardens as she stepped forward. "Alright, little Shirone," she said gently. "Let's get started."

They began with the basics. Kuroka instructed Koneko to take a meditative pose, sitting cross-legged on the forest floor. "Focus on the chi around you," Kuroka explained. "Draw it in, let it flow through you, and mold it to your will."

At first, Koneko seemed to manage well. The natural energy of the forest swirled faintly around her, and she began to channel it. But as time passed, the energy grew unstable. A dark, negative aura formed around Koneko, its oppressive force pushing both Kio and Kuroka back.

"Shirone!" Kuroka shouted, her golden eyes wide with alarm.

Koneko's control slipped entirely as the negative energy consumed her, lashing out in chaotic bursts. Determined to save her sister, Kuroka pushed forward despite the force keeping her at bay.

Kio moved as well, but Kuroka was faster. She reached Koneko first, wrapping her arms tightly around her despite the girl's resistance.

Koneko lashed out violently, scratching and cursing at Kuroka, her words filled with anger and pain. Her nails tore at Kuroka's skin, and in her desperation, she bit down hard on Kuroka's neck. Blood trickled from the wound, but Kuroka didn't flinch.

"I'm sorry, Shirone," Kuroka whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "I'm so sorry for everything. For abandoning you. For not being there when you needed me. I'm a terrible excuse for a big sister... but I'll be here for you now. Whether you want me to or not."

Slowly, the negative energy began to dissipate, fading into the sunset like mist under the morning sun. Koneko's body went limp, her unconscious form cradled in Kuroka's arms.

Kio approached, his calm demeanor unwavering as he patched up Kuroka's wounds. She sat quietly, licking her injuries as her golden eyes softened, watching over her little sister with a mixture of guilt and relief.

She glanced down at her sleeping sister, stroking her hair gently. "I ran away because I had no choice. Our master—he was using us. Experimenting on us. I killed him to save us, but it made me a target. Staying meant putting you in danger. I thought... if I left, you'd be safe."

Kuroka's voice cracked, her tears falling freely now. "I thought they'd protect you better than I could. And they did, you found a new family with the Gremories. I… I couldn't hope for a better future for you." She continues to cry as Kio stays by her side, letting her release all of her regrets.

Koneko, still on the ground, secretly listening to her older sister wailing, questioning herself on what to do?

After a long and exhausting day of training, the villa was filled with the comforting aroma of a well-prepared feast. The maid worked diligently to serve everyone, ensuring that no plate was left empty. Conversations buzzed around the table, lighthearted and filled with teasing remarks about the struggles of training. For a brief moment, the tension of the upcoming Rating Game seemed distant, replaced by a subtle warmth.

Once dinner concluded, the group naturally gravitated toward the outdoor baths, eager to soothe their sore muscles. The bathhouse, built into the mountainside, was divided into two sections—one for men and one for women. Steam rose into the cool night air, the scent of herbs, minerals and heated water adding to the tranquil atmosphere.

The water lapped gently against the smooth stones as Rias leaned back with a sigh, her crimson hair floating around her like silk. Akeno, ever composed, stretched her arms lazily, letting out a pleased hum.

"This is heaven," Akeno mused, tilting her head to look at the others. "A perfect way to end the first day of training."

Rias nodded, her eyes closing in relaxation. "It was a productive day. I think we're all making progress."

Asia, sitting near the edge of the bath, perked up. "I still have so much to learn, but I feel like I'm finally starting to understand magic." She smiled softly. "Lilyo was a great teacher."

"I'm glad to hear that," Rias said warmly.

Koneko, as usual, remained quiet, keeping to herself in a shaded corner of the bath. "Koneko," Rias called, her voice softer now but firm. "What's going on?"

Koneko froze for a moment, clutching the small black cat a little tighter before glancing up at Rias. She hesitated, clearly debating whether to respond. Finally, with a reluctant sigh, she shifted slightly, revealing a small black feline curled against her chest.

The cat let out a lazy purr, stretching its paws slightly before settling back down.

Asia's eyes widened in delight. "Oh! What a cute cat!" she said, scooting a little closer.

Akeno tilted her head, her sharp gaze studying the feline. "Strange… I didn't see you bring a cat in here."

Rias, however, furrowed her brows. Something felt off, the question of why she was hiding it like that. "Where did that cat come from?" she asked, stepping forward.

Koneko shifted uncomfortably. "It belong to Nanashi and it got attached to me." she mumbled, her usual monotone voice failing to hide her unease.

Suddenly, the sound of the bathhouse door sliding open shattered the tranquility, drawing all eyes toward the entrance. A tall woman, her skin a rich tan, stepped inside with the confidence of someone of royalty and a voluptuous figure to boot. Her long black hair cascaded down her back, framing sharp golden eyes that took in the room without hesitation.

Rias was the first to rise, her movements swift, the warmth of the bath forgotten. "Who are you?" she demanded, her voice firm.

Akeno followed suit, her usual playful demeanor nowhere to be found. "This is private property, you're trespassing," she said, her tone calm but carrying an unmistakable edge.

The mysterious woman met their gazes without a hint of concern. "Sorry for barging in, I heard there was a bath and I couldn't help myself." she said smoothly, holding up her hands in a gesture of peace. "I'm a friend of Nanashi and Lilyo."

That single statement caused a ripple of uncertainty among the girls.

Leonardo, who had been watching quietly, finally spoke. "So you're here, huh?" she said, a confused expression on her face. "I did know you would be coming."

Rias turned to Leonardo, her eyes narrowing. "You know her?"

Leonardo exhaled through her nose, sinking deeper into the water. "Yeah. I do." She paused, glancing at the woman before adding, "She is… Ummm~." "Just call me Moolah" the woman interrupted, breaking the tension.

As Moolah made her way toward the hot spring, she moved with the grace of a queen who knew exactly the kind of attention she commanded. Dropping her towel at the edge of the bath, she stepped into the steaming water, her tan skin glistening against the soft glow of the lanterns.

The girls couldn't help but admire her beauty. Akeno let out a low, appreciative hum, tilting her head as she took in the woman's flawless figure. "My, my… quite the stunning guest we have," she mused, a playful smile gracing her lips.

Rias, though more composed, couldn't deny the presence Moolah exuded. It wasn't just her sunkissed skin, her perfectly sculpted curves, or the effortless way she carried herself—it was the sheer confidence she radiated, as if she belonged anywhere she went. Even Asia, normally shy about such things, found herself staring before quickly looking away, cheeks flushed.

Koneko, on the other hand, simply muttered, "Unfair," though the slight blush on her face betrayed her curiosity.

Moolah, fully aware of their reactions, smirked as she sank deeper into the water. "You girls act like you've never seen a woman before," she teased, stretching her arms lazily.

Meanwhile, on the men's side of the bath, things were far less serene.

The sound of splashing water and pained yelps filled the air as Kio held Issei in a brutal submission hold, effortlessly keeping him locked in place.

"Don't you have any shame, you call yourself a man? As long as I'm here you won't be doing anything this stupid again" Kio said flatly, tightening his grip.

"Gyaaah! What do you mean stupid? Oppais are a man's dream. Not taking a peek at those gorgeous peaks is an insult to my manhood." Issei flailed helplessly, his face half-submerged in the water.

"It was worth the risk!" Issei admitted before another twist of his arm had him yelping in agony. "Okay, okay! Uncle! Please, have mercy!"

Before Kio could decide whether or not to grant that mercy, Vlad III and Gasper entered the bathhouse.

Vlad, ever regal even in a bath setting, raised an eyebrow at the scene before him. "Hoh? A lesson in discipline, I see," he mused, stepping into the water with a contented sigh. "Carry on, then. Foolishness must be corrected."

Gasper, on the other hand, froze at the sight of Issei's predicament, eyes wide with horror. "I-Issei! Are you okay?!"

"Does it look like I'm okay to you?!" Issei shouted before his head was dunked back into the water. "And why are you wearing a towel like that, especially inside the bath?" Gasper shake timidly, like a cat losing one of its nine lives. He tries to take off the towel, nervously, but "I can't do it! It's too embarrassing." Running into the bath with a flop.

Vlad chuckled as he leaned back, watching the silliness of these children unfold. "Ah, the resilience of youth. Quite entertaining." While relaxing in the bath, sipping on a glass of wine.

Issei, still catching his breath and rubbing his sore shoulders, looked over at Kio with a sly grin. "Hey, hey, Nanashi. I've been thinking…" he started, inching closer.

Kio didn't even acknowledge him, still resting his arms along the edge of the bath.

Issei took that as a sign to continue. "I really feel like we could be the best of friends, you know? A brotherhood forged through battle! And what better way to seal that bond than with a noble cause?" He leaned in conspiratorially, eyes gleaming. "Let's go peek together."

Kio finally turned his head slightly, expression unreadable. "No."

Issei blinked. "What? No?"

"Not interested."

"Come on, man! With your skills, we could get the perfect angle without getting caught!" Issei whispered, nudging him with his elbow. "Think about it. Two warriors, sneaking into enemy territory, risking it all for a glimpse of the divine."

Kio sighed. "Hyoudou, calm down. Or else I'll double your training for the rest of the week."

That shut Issei up for a moment. He pouted, crossing his arms. "Fine, fine."

But the moment Kio turned away, Issei suddenly sprinted toward the bath's dividing wall at full speed. Yuuto, who had been quietly enjoying the bath on the other side, opened one eye just in time to see Issei scrambling up the rock wall like a desperate animal.

"...He kind of looks like a cockroach," Yuuto mused, his tone relaxed.

"Shut up, Prince Gilded Nuts!" Issei barked back, momentarily stopping mid-climb to throw an insult before continuing his ascent.

Kio, having had enough of Issei's foolishness, yelling in Spanish, "¡Puta madre!"

With a single motion, Kio leaped into the air with inhuman agility.

Issei, now perched at the top of the wall, grinned as he took in the glorious sight before him. "I finally did it… I can see everything!"

His nose bled freely, his grin stretching ear to ear—until a sudden force crashed into his gut.

Kio's foot connected with full force, sending Issei rocketing backward, flipping through the air before crashing back into the bathwater below with a tremendous splash.

Silence followed.

Yuuto lazily glanced toward the water, where Issei's unconscious body floated facedown. "Rest in peace, Issei," he murmured. Vlad, sipping from a glass of wine he had somehow acquired, nodded approvingly. "Judgment has been served." Gasper poking at Issei "Is he dead?"

Landing back on the ground, Kio wraps his towel own and pick up Issei over his shoulder, "He is not, but he will be wishing for it." Walking back into the villa, carrying Issei

Back on the girls' side, the atmosphere remained peaceful, the warm water working its magic in easing away the tension from their bodies. Moolah leaned back against the smooth rocks, watching the others with a serene expression. A small smile played on her lips as she observed their reactions—Asia and Koneko were visibly flustered, both avoiding eye contact after the brief commotion from the men's side, while Rias and Akeno seemed completely unbothered, their poise intact.

Chuckling softly, Moolah stretched, her golden skin glistening in the soft glow of the bathhouse lanterns. "You all have such lively companions," she mused. "It's refreshing."

Asia, still pink in the face, fidgeted with her hands. "He can be a little… much," she admitted shyly.

Koneko, holding a towel tightly against her chest, let out a quiet huff. "Dumbass."

Moolah laughed. "That's part of what makes men entertaining." She shifted closer to Rias and Akeno, her presence carrying an effortless warmth. "So," she continued, her golden eyes settling on them, "how's the training going? How do you feel about your chances in this upcoming battle?"

Rias sighed, leaning back against the rock. "It's been intense. We've been improving, but Riser and his peerage are no joke. His regeneration alone makes him a nightmare to deal with."

Akeno nodded, tilting her head slightly. "We're getting stronger, but we still have a lot to refine in a short amount of time. The odds are stacked against us."

Moolah listened attentively, nodding along with their concerns. The more they spoke, the more the girls found themselves opening up to her. There was something about her presence—something reassuring, like a steady warmth that wrapped around them. It wasn't just her words; it was the way she carried herself, the way she seemed to genuinely care. It was… maternal.

She smiled softly, moving closer and wrapping her arms around Rias and Akeno in a gentle hug. "You're stronger than you think," she said, her voice carrying a quiet confidence. "Believe in yourselves. Trust in each other. That's the key to winning any battle."

As she turned, she hugged Asia and Koneko as well, lingering just a moment longer with the smaller girl. Koneko stiffened at first but slowly relaxed in her hold, feeling an odd sense of security she couldn't quite place.

Pulling back, Moolah gave them all a warm smile. "And I'm happy that Nanashi has made such wonderful friends," she added.

That last statement made Rias and the others pause. Their expressions shifted, curiosity flickering in their eyes.

Rias frowned slightly. "You say that as if… he feels the same."

The others exchanged glances. Even now, despite all their interactions with him, Nanashi remained distant, always keeping them at arm's length. The idea that he saw them as anything more than just temporary acquaintances, employer and employee.

Moolah simply smiled knowingly, stepping out of the bath as steam curled around her. "Hmm… that's something you'll have to figure out yourselves. One thing I can tell you, Nanashi was hurt badly, basically stunting him. It will take time for him to open up to new people, just be patient." she teased before wrapping herself in a towel and making her way toward the exit. She beckons Asia to come over; when she get close, Moolah whispers "Would you do me a huge favor? Look after Kio for me. He may be strong but he is still a reckless child."

Asia nod, intending to that no matter what. Sealing it with a pinky promise.

Before she walks away, Asia whispered last thing "Ms. Moolah, will you be staying with us for the night? I'm sure Kio would be happy to know you are here."

"I would love to sweetheart, but my husband and I are planning to go on a trip right now. I just came by to say hi." She says, waving goodbye.

As she disappeared from sight, the girls sat in thoughtful silence, Rias tapping a finger against her lips.

"Nanashi, huh…" she murmured.

For the first time, they truly questioned what he thought of them.

Somewhere outside the villa, atop a cliff that overlooked the sprawling estate, a lone figure stood bathed in the silver glow of the moon. The man possessed an ethereal presence, his gray hair shimmering as if woven from divine light itself. Piercing gold eyes, filled with ancient wisdom yet hardened by experience, gazed down at the villa below. His regal robes, adorned with intricate golden patterns, flowed gently in the night breeze, exuding an air of both authority and detachment. A set bracelet of gold adorned his arms, especially ten brilliant golden rings, one on each finger —a symbol of his divine kingship.

His usually serene face was marred by a deep scowl, his jaw clenched in irritation. The faint hum of magic pulsed around him, a silent testament to his growing frustration.

Soft footsteps approached from behind, yet he did not turn. Only when a pair of warm arms wrapped around his torso from behind did his expression shift slightly. A familiar, comforting presence pressed against his back, her chin resting lightly on his shoulder.

"You're brooding, my dear king Solomon" Moolah teased, her voice a soothing murmur. "That's not like you."

Solomon exhaled sharply through his nose, still glaring down at the villa. "That boy," he seethed. "The lecherous one. Hyoudou Issei."

Moolah blinked, surprised by his unusually sharp tone. "What about him?"

Solomon's fingers twitched, the air crackling faintly with magical energy. "I'm going to kill him."

Moolah sighed, squeezing him gently. "Oh dear. Really now?"

"He tried to peek at you," Solomon growled, his eyes narrowing dangerously. "I will not have anyone disrespects my queen."

Moolah, who is actually Queen Sheba blinked before giggling softly, her arms tightening around him. "Oh, that."

"That," Solomon repeated, voice edged with barely restrained wrath. "You think I'd let some perverted brat lay his eyes upon you?"

Sheba nuzzled against his shoulder, smiling against the fabric of his robes. "You're adorable when you're jealous."

Solomon tensed. "I am not jealous." His scowl deepened. "I am simply ensuring that indecency is punished accordingly."

She chuckled, pulling back slightly. "Relax, my King," she soothed. "I placed an illusion over the girls' bath. He didn't see a thing. And besides, Kio has already delt with him."

Giving him a knowing smirk. "The only thing he saw was whatever fantasy his perverted little brain conjured up."

"Isn't it funny?" she mused aloud, a smirk playing on her lips. "Solomon, the great King of Israel, had a hundred wives, not for lust, but for wisdom, alliances, and duty. Meanwhile, Issei dreams of a harem not for responsibility, but for indulgence and pleasure." She chuckled, shaking her head. "They are alike in their ambition, yet complete opposites in their ideals. One saw power as a means to guide and uplift his people, while the other… simply wants to bury himself in soft thighs and bosoms." She sighed, resting her chin on her lover. "And yet, that unwavering conviction… perhaps, in another life, you could have understood each other."

Solomon's brow furrowed, as if contemplating whether that was a sufficient excuse to let Issei live. Finally, he sighed, rolling his shoulders. "Fine. He may keep his life—for now. But for your information, my queen, I don't think me and that boy would get along. "

Sheba giggled again, stepping beside him to join him in looking over the villa. "You're cute when you get all protective."

"I am not cute," Solomon stated flatly. She leaned in closer, whispering, "Yes, you are."

"So, should we head out to our first honeymoon, My Dear." She said excitedly. "Not yet, my queen. There is one more thing I need to do here." He said in a serious tone.

"I can wait" she said, lovely. "Your children in this world have grown so much" Solomon grinned, a proud look in his eyes "I'm glad that they were able to build a future for themselves, but I do hope that whatever happened to Goetia back then doesn't repeat itself here." They bath in the light of the moon as they continue to watch the villa.

Chapter End

Extra:

In the depths of the Underworld, within the grand estate of the House of Gremory, the Maou Sirzechs Lucifer sat at his desk, drowning in an endless sea of paperwork. His normally composed expression held a slight weariness, the burden of leadership evident in the faint sighs he let out as he signed document after document. The dim glow of enchanted lamps illuminated the vast study, their flickering light casting long shadows against the walls.

The rhythmic scratching of his pen came to a halt when the heavy oak doors of his office swung open. Grayfia stood there, her usual poised demeanor fractured. Her silver hair, always immaculate, was slightly disheveled, her breathing uneven.

Sirzechs immediately rose from his chair, concern washing over him. He had never seen his wife—his Queen—so shaken before. He rushed to her side, gently placing his hands on her shoulders.

"Grayfia," he spoke softly, searching her crimson eyes. "What happened? Did something happen between Rias and Riser?"

She shook her head quickly, dismissing the thought. "No… it's not that," she whispered. But the motion caused fresh tears to spill down her cheeks.

Sirzechs' heart clenched at the sight of her distress. Grayfia was the strongest woman he knew—unshakable, ever-composed. Yet here she was, trembling in his arms, her sorrow overwhelming. He cupped her face gently, his thumbs brushing away the tears. Haven't seen her this emotional since the birth of their son.

"Then what is it?" he asked, voice laced with worry.

Grayfia swallowed hard, her lips trembling as she tried to form the words. And then, in a voice so raw and broken that it sent a shiver down his spine, she whispered:

"I found him!"

Sirzechs froze. The weight of those three words hit him like a thunderclap. His grip on her tightened slightly.

He didn't need to ask who she meant.

There was only one person who could make Grayfia Lucifuge—his steadfast, unbreakable wife—cry like this.
