Time Traveling System: Establishing The Last Stronghold for Humanity

Chapter 11: Chapter 11 The Dawn of Hope: Returning to the Past to Rebuild the Stronghold

The first light of day streamed into the room Tham used as a temporary refuge. He woke up feeling much more refreshed than yesterday.

Though his body was still sore from last night's training, his mind was filled with determination.

He had spent the entire night training his telekinesis and crafting with the basic tools he found.

The mere 1% progress in his crafting skill didn't discourage him in the slightest. On the contrary, it ignited even more hope that all his efforts would lead to change.

Tham quickly packed his belongings. Luna's notebook and the toolkit were neatly stowed in his backpack.

He looked around the temporary shelter for the last time before leaving the old office building.

The morning sun shone down on the ruins of the once-bustling city. The atmosphere was still somber, but for Tham, today was different from other days.

He had a clear goal and overflowing hope.

While waiting for the system to send him back to the past,

Tham continued to practice his telekinesis.

He tried to lift small stones scattered on the ground, concentrating intently on them.

At first, it was difficult; the stones barely moved. But as he tried again and again,

he began to feel a certain energy flowing within his body. The stones started to tremble slightly before slowly floating a few centimeters off the ground.

It was a small advancement, but enough to make Tham feel the potential hidden within him.

As he walked through the debris-strewn streets, Tham couldn't help but think about the stories in Luna's notebook.

A life full of color, dreams, and hopes snatched away from this world by disaster.

He felt a heavy responsibility, but it also pushed him to succeed. He had to go back in time and establish a stronghold strong enough to protect people.

Not just Luna, but countless others who might face the same fate.

Finally, he arrived at a familiar spot. The large iron gate was still wide open, as if waiting for his return.

Tham walked inside. Darkness and a musty smell still enveloped the place, but this time Tham no longer felt afraid.

He headed straight to the center, where he had received the power to travel back in time.

Tham set down his backpack. He would wait until the system activated.

He had decided that this time he wouldn't return to the same period.

Instead, he would go back a little earlier, giving him more time to prepare and establish a more stable stronghold.

He chose to return to a time when peace still existed but technology hadn't advanced too far, allowing him to gather resources and build necessities without attracting too much attention from the authorities.

As he waited and continued to practice his powers, the system notification sounded again.

[Prepare for time travel to the year 1992.]

[Recommendation: This journey back to the past will present different challenges. Please utilize your knowledge and skills to their fullest potential.]

Tham took a deep breath. He was about to step into a new chapter of his life. His role as a savior was about to begin.

He clutched Luna's notebook tightly in his hand. It was like a reminder of his great goal.

When he opened his eyes again,

Warm sunlight streamed through the window. Tham felt the familiarity of this atmosphere.

It wasn't the musty smell of a dead city, but the scent of fresh air.

The distant hum of people going about their daily lives drifted in. He was in an old house.

Tham got out of bed and walked to the window. He looked out and saw people hurrying about.

Cars driving on the street, towering buildings. Everything was still perfect and full of life. It was a sight he had longed for.

"I've really come back, haven't I?"

Tham murmured to himself with a feeling of deep emotion. He was standing at the starting point again, but this time he hadn't come back empty-handed. He had knowledge, experience, and a clear goal.

The first thing Tham did was survey his surroundings. He took out his wristwatch from the future. All the information still clearly displayed,

showing the date, time, and location he was in. He opened Luna's notebook again to review the stories and gain a deeper understanding of people's way of life in this era.

"The first thing to do is find a source of funding,"

Tham thought to himself. He knew that money was the most crucial factor in building everything in this era.

Establishing a stable stronghold would require enormous capital.

He could no longer rely solely on crafting small items to sell.
