Chapter 15: At The Mall
The next day, I refused to get out of bed. I felt heartbroken, with despair, and sadness filling up my soul.
I can't believe I got rejected by the only other man who really showed me that sort of affection. Well, I guess he didn't, he could have just been being kind. But I felt a connection to him, one that I didn't think would be able to make me sad, but here I am, feeling sad as hell because of some guy.
Soon, I heard my phone begin to ring and decided to answer it.
"Hello?" I ask, I'm probably congested with my voice cracking. I've been crying all night.
"Hey sweetie," My mom's voice rings through the phone. "How are you doing?" She asks. "Are you sick?" She asks, probably noticing my congested nose.
"I'm fine Mom," I say. "I'm a little sick," I say, lying. I didn't want to tell her about my heartbreak.
"I just called to see how you're doing and to inform you of something," She said that last part a little worriedly.
"I'm doing great Mom," I lie again. "What did you need to inform me?" I ask.
"I needed to let you know that my job is keeping me here for the rest of this month and possibly part of next month, so I transferred some more money to your account for groceries and such. I plan to check on you, but I wanted to inform you of how long I might be gone," She explains.
"Okay Mom," I say. "I love you," I say, feeling as though I'm about to cry again.
"I love you too, darling," She says before she hangs up. My tears fall again as I check the time. I guess it's a good thing that I don't have school today.
I lay my head on the pillow in depression before crying myself back to sleep.

Waking up was just like torture, my lips were chapped and cracked from all of the crying and my nose felt stuffed.
I finally decided to get out of bed to use the bathroom. As I stepped into the bathroom, I looked into the mirror to find my makeup smeared on my face, my eyes bloodshot from all of the crying, and my face looked so pale.
I decided to do my business in the bathroom, clean my face, and dry it before I felt my stomach get angry in hunger. It growled and I growled at it in anger.
I decided to change into black sweatpants, a black hoodie, and a pair of black vans. I slipped the hood over my head before heading downstairs. I looked through our fridge, the cupboards, and even the freezer, but nothing sounded good, not to mention, I just didn't want to cook anything.
I grabbed my keys before heading out of the door, locking it behind me, and heading to the car.
I decided to drive to the mall to get food and maybe walk around a little bit. As soon as I parked, I got out and locked the car. As soon as I stepped into the mall, I saw a Panda Express and immediately stepped in line for it.
After ordering my food, I paid for it and decided to sit at one of the many empty tables to eat it.
After I was finished eating it, I threw my garbage away before plugging in my music and plugging it into my ears. I looked around, just analyzing the people around me. I noticed a lot of them had happy grins on their face.
I looked down as I walked forward, feeling my emotions overcoming me once again.
"Excuse me," A man steps up to me and gets my attention by tapping my shoulder. I looked up to find two men who looked very identical. They were both huge and very well-built. They had red shaggy hair and one main thing that I noticed was different was the lightning bolt on the left one's neck.
"Yes?" I ask, looking at them both with a weird look.
"Are you Stella Wright?" The one on the right asks. I look at them oddly before nodding my head as a response.
"Please come with us," They both say before stepping behind me and guiding me somewhere without any physical contact. I figured this would be the best option, seeing as they were much bigger than me.
Stepping outside, I noticed a huge black truck parked right outside the doors. I look left and right, debating on whether to run or not. I decided to just do what they said as I got into the truck and seatbelted myself in.
"Where are we going?" I ask as the two men get into the driver's and passenger's seats.
"That is a surprise," The driver says.
I decided to just stare out the window as we drove.
Ezra's POV:
I hated hurting her feelings. I did want to kiss her, but I had to talk to Apollo first.
Stepping into the pack house, I heard a loud voice coming from upstairs. I walked up to our top floor before taking a left and heading straight for his office.
Knocking on the door, I heard his angry voice stop. Two men from a different pack stepped out of his office before I decided to walk into the office.
"What is it, Ezra?" He asks me, seeming to be tired.
"I needed to talk to you about Stella," I tell him. His eyes lighten at her name.
"She is so beautiful, I remember seeing her at the party last night and I just didn't want to leave her alone," He says, seeming to daydream about her. "Wait, what about her?" He asks, seeming to go into protective mode. "Is she okay?" He worries.
"She's fine," I begin. "I drove her home last night and she seemed fine," I tell him. "That was until I broke her heart," I continue.
"You what?" He asks, his eyes getting darker.
"No," I try to calm him down. "I mean, she kissed me last night and I immediately rejected her approach," I explain, causing his eyes to turn their regular color. "But I have something else to tell you," I pause, worriedly.
He continues to stare at me, seeming to be very interested in what I'm going to say next.
"She's my mate too," I tell him, looking down in fear. When he gets angry, he can be very scary.
"Mate?" He asks, calmly. I decided to look up at him, noticing he seemed strangely calm.
"Yes," I tell him.
"Well, congrats, Ezra," He says with a smile. Then, his eyes turn to the dark ones again. "But she's mine too," He finishes.
"Look, the moon goddess sent her to both of us, meaning we have to share her," I explain to him. "If we don't share her, one of us, if not both of us, will end up as a rogue and heartless," I continue to explain. "Remember, she has no idea about werewolves, seeing as she's human, so we don't want to scare her," I say.
"Share?" He asks, seeming to calm down again. After he takes a deep breath, he seems more relaxed. "I understand," He nods. "You're my best friend and I'm glad you finally got your mate," He tells me, making me feel kind of happy. "And I will be glad to share a mate with you," He continues. "But, how are we supposed to explain this whole thing to her?" He asks.
As I began to explain my plan, he nodded in understanding.
