Transmigrated as Sukuna, but the Host is Yukinoshita?

Chapter 202

Chapter 202, Chapter Twelve, pass, pass, pass!

On Sunday, the commercial pedestrian street was bustling with activity.

Groups of people walked down the stone-paved road, and a gentle breeze passed between them, signaling the arrival of summer.

The sunlight at the beginning of summer was not intense; soft and warm rays fell on the exquisite glass showcases along both sides of the street, giving the items inside a golden hue.

Although it wasn’t hot, people wore very casual attire. Under their short skirts were exposed pale thighs, and many of the women exuded a youthful aura, particularly high school girls.

Lin Qi was also fortunate enough, albeit in a ghostly manner, to be part of this group.

Yukinoshita Yono changed into her summer clothes. Her top wore a light yellow spaghetti-strap blouse, over which she wore a semi-transparent sun hat. She also donned a pair of denim shorts; under the shorts were well-proportioned yet healthy-looking legs that were neither too plump nor too slender. Her calves had an appealing curve, and her sneakers peeked out from under her white socks.

Is this your suggestion? Yukinoshita Yono asked sarcastically in her inner channel.

Walking around town like a normal schoolgirl was Lin Qi’s first suggestion.

Although she’s just started high school, without a doubt, Yukinoshita Yono isn’t an ordinary schoolgirl. Perhaps experiencing some typical weekend fun could bring her a novel feeling.

While I might be smarter and know more than others, it doesn’t mean I’m a shut-in who never goes out shopping.

And have you seen any girl out there strolling alone? Yukinoshita Yono rolled her eyes and retorted sharply.

Indeed, my consideration was lacking. Lin Qi honestly admitted his mistake.

Going around town like a normal schoolgirl, pass.

Then next!

They arrived at a batting center.

After paying, Yukinoshita Yono went to the spacious rooftop on the third floor.

The surrounding areas of the rooftop were enclosed by protective nets, and in the center were several painted targets with big red crosses and a digital scoreboard, while a pitching machine was placed below.

The short-haired girl removed her sun hat, put on a baseball cap, instantly transforming from an energetic schoolgirl to a sporty one.

She picked up a bat from the stand, casually swung it, pressed a button, and took her stance at the hitting spot.

“Round 1, Go!” With the electronic prompt, the digital scoreboard displayed Yukinoshita Yono’s current score.

Focusing intently, her gaze sharpened as she watched the pitching machine closely.

“Hss!”

The machine trembled, and a baseball shot towards her. Timing her swing perfectly, she fiercely hit the ball with her bat.

The sound of the bat striking the ball echoed, and the ball flew away as the number on the digital display jumped, recording her score accurately.

“Round 2, Go!”

With repeated electronic prompts, the speed of pitches increased. Yet, each time Yukinoshita Yono managed to hit the balls accurately and powerfully.

Last round.

The ball reached its maximum speed, the sound of air displaced was particularly clear. With forceful swings, a crisp ring sounded, sending the ball soaring toward a cloudless blue sky.

Yukinoshita Yono casually held the bat over her shoulder and looked up, tracing the ball’s flight until it landed on a target in the protective net.

The electronic device erupted in cheers and applause: “Home run! Woohoo!”

She couldn’t help but slightly smile and removed her cap, shaking her head. Her silky black hair danced gently in the wind, wafting a hint of jasmine.

“How do you feel?” asked Lin Qi.

“Not bad, especially for stress relief.” The short-haired girl wiped off sweat with a smile.

Just focusing on the incoming ball and swinging freely without concern, life would be simple like that.

After a moment, she shook her head. “Occasional entertainment is fine, but if I were to treat this as a hobby, I’d need to join the baseball team. It’s too troublesome, and I have no intention of participating in competitions.”

“Other sports are similar.”

“True.”

Within the soul domain, Lin Qi scratched his chin.

Sporty girl, pass!

In a park filled with cherry blossom trees, Yukinoshita Yono held a leather-bound notebook, scribbling with a charcoal pencil.

Occasionally, she would look up, studying the landscape before drawing again on the rough paper with new strokes.

May isn’t the season for cherry blossoms, only a few pink flowers struggled to bloom here and there along the branches. Passersby stopped occasionally, becoming characters in Yukinoshita Yukino’s sketch.

Before long, a quick scene drawing was completed.

Yukinoshita Yono examined her work from a distance, nodding approvingly.

Your drawing skills are good, did you practice? Lin Qi asked curiously.

I’ve studied most things you can name, including painting, she replied lightly.

“Although I’ve learned, it won’t become a hobby, so it remains as only that—studied.”

Yukinoshita Yono softly spoke, stretching and glanced around. Noticing the little girl watching her earlier, she smiled and waved.

A little girl with two pigtails waving back delightedly rushed over after seeing her wave.

“Do you like it?” Yukinoshita Yono showed her the drawing.

“Yes! You paint so well!” The girl couldn’t tear herself away from the drawing, nodding furiously.

“Since you like it, consider it yours.” Yukinoshita Yono rubbed the girl’s head and handed over the notebook.

“Really!? Thank you so much!”

A spark of surprise flashed in her eyes. After accepting the notebook, she stood on tiptoe and gave Yukinoshita Yono a kiss on the cheek.

“Bye, Sis!”

The girl left joyfully holding the notebook.

Watching her leave, the short-haired girl sighed, “The little Yukinoshita used to be cuter, but now she seems less clingy.”

Drawing, pass.

That noisy summer.
