Transmigrated Become Sukuna, but the host is Yukinoshita Yukino?

Chapter 140: Chapter 140: Sister Went Crazy

The Yukinoshita family residence is located in the central district of Chiba.

It's surprising that in such a prime area of the city, they have a spacious traditional Japanese house. But considering that the Yukinoshita family is one of Chiba's major landowners, it makes sense.

Yukinoshita Yukino stood under the eaves of the corridor, absentmindedly looking up at the sky. Her long, smooth hair, which reached her waist, swayed gently in the wind. A few strands brushed her face, sending a slight cool sensation before being tucked behind her ear.

The weather wasn't great today, with the bright blue sky covered by heavy gray clouds. The air felt damp and heavy.

It looked like it was about to rain.

Hayashizaki-kun, what is he doing right now?

It's been two weeks since Yukinoshita Yukino returned to her family home.

Hayashizaki was temporarily staying alone in Yukinoshita Yukino's apartment. Given the skills he learned from her, he probably wouldn't starve.

But with his lazy personality, he probably wouldn't cook for himself every day, right?

"Eh? Yuki-chan?"

An annoying voice suddenly rang in the girl's ear.

"What are you looking at?"

Yukinoshita Haruno approached Yukinoshita Yukino from behind and looked up at the sky, pretending to examine it. After a few seconds, she asked with feigned curiosity.

"There's no Hayashizaki-kun in the sky, is there?"

"Neesan..."

Yukinoshita Yukino snapped back to reality and gave her sister a look, rolling her eyes in annoyance at the teasing smile on her face.

"Alright, stop standing here. It's about to rain heavily. If you stay here, you'll get soaked."

Yukinoshita Haruno chuckled lightly, waved her hand, and returned to the main house. Yukinoshita Yukino followed her, turning her gaze away.

Both of them entered the main house, where their mother was sitting as usual in a kimono, gracefully making tea on a cushion.

"Yukino, Haruno, you're here."

Upon hearing footsteps, Yukinoshita's mother gently lifted her eyes and gave a warm greeting before continuing with what she was doing.

After pouring a cup of tea for each of her daughters, she slightly nodded and gestured for them to sit.

Yukinoshita Yukino obediently sat down, maintaining a proper posture, while Haruno was much more relaxed, sitting cross-legged on the cushion, one hand resting on the coffee table as she leaned her cheek on it. She casually picked up her tea cup, taking small sips while blowing gently on the rising steam.

"…Neesan!"

Yukinoshita Yukino quietly reminded her.

But the short-haired beauty didn't seem to care, smiling as she asked, "What's wrong?"

Seeing her eldest daughter sitting in such a sloppy posture, Yukinoshita's mother couldn't help but frown slightly. "Haruno, you should sit properly."

As expected, Haruno was scolded by their mother.

Just as the younger daughter had expected, when their mother scolded Haruno, her tone became a little more serious.

"Eh~ Let me relax at home, it's not like there are guests."

However, the black-haired girl didn't expect Haruno to not fix her posture right away but instead argue back with their mother!

"It doesn't matter if there are guests or not. This is about habits."

Yukinoshita's mother placed both hands flat on the table and said seriously, "Once you get used to something, it won't be easy to fix later. I should've taught you this a long time ago."

"But that's so tiring, I don't want to wear myself out even at home~"

Yukinoshita Haruno dragged out her words in a playful tone.

Her voice was as sweet as honey, with a slightly scratchy edge, like smoke rising from a dancer's cigarette held between red lips, mysterious and soft, pulling anyone who heard it into a trance.

Something felt off. Haruno's behavior wasn't right.

Yukinoshita Yukino quietly grew alert in her mind.

"If you can't even relax at home, I might just end up like Yuki-chan and run off to never come back!"

Her seemingly playful and teasing words carried an undertone of threat.

Did she really just say that to our mother?

The black-haired girl slowly widened her eyes, full of disbelief.

Now, their mother would definitely be angry.

"Haruno!"

Yukinoshita's mother's beautiful face showed a hint of anger, and her voice suddenly became much louder, causing Yukinoshita Yukino, who was sitting beside Haruno, to tremble instinctively.

Haruno seemed to ignore it, finishing her tea and slamming the cup onto the table.

The cup hit the surface with a dull thud, and Yukinoshita's mother's frown twitched slightly.

This was bad. Haruno had lost it.

Although, in terms of strength, ten Harunos and ten of their mother wouldn't stand a chance against Yukinoshita Yukino, at this moment, she felt scared.

"Hey! I have something to report!"

Haruno, as if drunk, raised her hand like a little schoolgirl, shouting, "Yuki-chan said she's ready to run! She said she can't stay in this house for another second and has to go back to her own apartment right away!"

"Neesan!?"

Yukinoshita Yukino's dark blue eyes were wide open in shock, her small mouth slightly ajar, so surprised that she forgot to argue for a moment.

You're accusing me!?

Her reaction was noticed by Yukinoshita's mother, who took it as some sort of confirmation.

"Yukino, is this how you feel?"

There was a faint sadness in her expression, though more of it was an assessing look.

"No..."

The denial almost slipped out, but it got caught in her throat. After hesitating, she muttered softly, "Although I do want to go back, it's not as bad as what my sister said."

"Why? Do you think, like Haruno, that my discipline is too strict and annoying?"

Yukinoshita's mother's calm voice sounded like a harsh cross-examination in Yukinoshita Yukino's ears.

Yukinoshita Haruno smiled and leaned her cheek on her hand, not denying her mother's words.

"No, I don't think that..."

Yukinoshita Yukino muttered quietly, lowering her head slightly, and then shot a glance at the short-haired beauty beside her.

"I'm a little tired. I'm going to take a nap."

Yukinoshita Haruno pretended not to notice and, with a fake yawn, stood up, saying, "Good afternoon, mother."

Watching her oldest daughter's back as she left, Yukinoshita's mother silently sighed, waiting until that familiar yet slightly unfamiliar figure disappeared from her view before she began making tea again.

"I... I'm going to go read in my room."

Seeing Haruno leave, Yukinoshita Yukino sat stiffly for a moment before quickly finding an excuse to leave, almost running away.

After a long buildup, the storm finally broke. It started with a few raindrops, then quickly turned into a downpour, with the raindrops forming countless dense white lines that blurred the outlines of distant buildings.

Yukinoshita Haruno slightly lifted her head, gazing at the hidden sky. But her gradually dreamy eyes seemed to see beyond the thick clouds, gazing at the brilliant starry sky.
