Transmigrated Become Sukuna, but the host is Yukinoshita Yukino?

Chapter 284: Chapter 284: The Union

"Alright, it's okay now. I'll get you out of here."

Suguru Geto casually crushed the lock on the wooden cell holding the two little girls and pushed open the door.

He smiled gently at them and said, "Come on out, it's safe now."

The Hasaba sisters hesitantly looked at the young man with a bun in his hair. The flickering candlelight in the dungeon cast soft shadows on his face, making the cold, dark space feel a little less eerie.

A faint light returned to their dull eyes.

The sisters tried to support each other as they stood up, but after being on their knees for so long, their legs had gone numb. On top of that, they were weak from hunger and covered in injuries. The moment they tried to stand, their legs gave out, and they nearly fell back down.

But this time, they didn't feel the usual cold, damp floor beneath them.

Stunned, they looked at the pair of strong hands holding them up. Their vision blurred slightly.

"Why...?"

Tears welled up in their eyes. It was as if everything in front of them—the warmth of his hands—was just an illusion. Desperately, they tightened their grip on Suguru Geto's arm.

Sensing their weakness, he lifted both of them with ease, placing them gently in the crook of his arms.

"What's your names?" he asked softly, using the gentlest voice he could, as if afraid of scaring them.

"I'm Hasaba Mimiko," said the little girl with short, light brown hair. She seemed slightly braver than her sister.

"Hasaba Nanako..." The girl with short black hair looked shyer and more timid, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Those are beautiful names. My name is Suguru Geto," he said warmly. "From now on, you don't have to worry anymore. No one will hurt you again."

But the sisters didn't look happy at his words. Mimiko lowered her head, her voice filled with sadness. "Even so... we don't have anywhere to go anymore."

Nanako buried her face in his shoulder, clutching tightly onto his clothes.

Suguru Geto was momentarily taken aback, but then his warm smile returned, as kind as ever. "Is that so? Well then, from now on, you'll be with me, Mimiko, Nanako."

The sisters' eyes widened in disbelief, as if they couldn't trust what they had just heard.

Mimiko was the first to react, her voice cautious yet hopeful. "Do you mean... you're taking us with you?"

"Yes, that's right," Suguru Geto said, smiling gently. "From now on, we're family."

"Family..." Mimiko's eyes sparkled with tears as she nodded vigorously. "Did you hear that, Nanako? We have a family now!"

"Yeah!" Nanako nodded firmly, her lips pressed tightly together as she held back her emotions.

After finally calming the sisters down, Suguru Geto summoned a one-eyed, horned curse and gently placed them on its back.

"Alright, let's get out of here. Satoru should be done on his end too."

With the sisters by his side, Suguru Geto left the dungeon and stepped out of the village chief's house.

As the golden glow of the setting sun bathed Mimiko and Nanako, they instinctively squinted, feeling a warmth spread through their bodies.

The loneliness and fear they had carried for so long faded away, like morning mist melting under the sun.

And before they knew it, fresh tears began to fall from their eyes once again.

"You guys sure took your time," the white-haired boy said with a grin as he walked toward them. "I've already taken care of everything on my end."

"Those two cowardly old men spilled everything after just a little threat. What I didn't expect was that so many people were involved."

"Man, I really wanted to just kill them all and be done with it, but that would cause too much trouble. It's better to let the auxiliary supervisor handle the aftermath." Gojo Satoru shrugged. "If nothing unexpected happens, most of the villagers here will probably end up in prison."

"So, what do you think, Suguru? This way of handling it should be fine, right?"

Suguru Geto nodded casually. "Yeah, this works."

As Gojo Satoru got closer, the boy with the bun caught a faint scent of blood on him. It was safe to assume that the village chief and his wife had already been executed.

With Gojo Satoru's speed, he obviously did more than just interrogate people while Suguru Geto was busy calming down the Hasaba sisters.

He had tied up all the villagers involved, throwing them onto the dirt path at the edge of the village's farmland.

The bound villagers squirmed and struggled on the roadside like a bunch of caterpillars, creating a rather unusual scene.

"Alright, I'll call the auxiliary supervisor now."

Only at this moment did the white-haired boy finally remember the auxiliary supervisor, whom they had left far behind.

He pulled out his phone from his pocket and made a call, briefly explaining the situation and the completion of the request. "Hey, auxiliary supervisor? We're done here, so come take care of the rest."

The auxiliary supervisor, who had just arrived in the nearest town: "…"

Wants to kill someone.

Watching as the white-haired boy hung up the call, Hasaba Mimiko curiously asked, "White-haired big brother, did you kill those two?"

"It's called an execution. Don't use the wrong words," Gojo Satoru said, a sly smile forming at the corner of his lips. "And my name is Gojo Satoru. Just call me Brother Gojo."

"Okay, Gojo," Mimiko Hasaba nodded.

"…This kid is way too serious."

Gojo Satoru didn't even bother asking his friend about what would happen to the twin sisters. There was no need—he already knew that Suguru was planning to take care of them himself.

Stretching lazily, he said, "Alright, everything's settled. Let's go."

With Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto leading the way, the Hasaba sisters finally left the village where they were born, a place filled with both good and painful memories, without a trace of regret.

Behind the two tall boys, a one-eyed ox-like curse spirit walked along at a leisurely pace. The little girls sitting on its back gently stroked its fur as it wagged its tail in contentment.

The golden light of the setting sun stretched across the dirt road beneath their feet, while a pleasant breeze swept past the girls, lifting their hair and carrying it toward the future.

…

That noisy summer:
