The office fell silent again. Han's report on the battle, including the sealing, had shocked everyone. They'd never seen such a strange sealing technique. Even Han, in partial tailed beast mode, was powerless. Except for Ōnoki's Dust Release, no one in Iwagakure could handle it.

"This person is incredibly strong. Our intel has no record of them," said one. "We don't know who they are, what they can do, or if they're even from Konoha. They're a mystery! They might be a bigger threat than Hiruzen!"

People greeted him.

His mother, Uchiha Shizune, called him. His father, Uchiha Dakebi, was reading a newspaper.

Kouki washed up and joined them. Shizune was kind and caring, asking about his day and training. Dakebi was quieter, asking about his work and training. Kouki felt their care.

"This is family," he thought warmly.

After dinner, Kouki went to his room and tested his Rinnegan. He wasn't testing its Six Paths powers; he was testing another theory.

The Sharingan evolves: Sharingan → Mangekyō Sharingan → Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. The Rinnegan is the ultimate form. Since Kouki had the Rinnegan, did the Sharingan disappear? Madara switched between Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and Rinnegan in the Fourth Great Ninja War. Madara evolved Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan naturally; Kouki's was from the system.

He activated his Rinnegan. He had the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, but lacked its abilities. It was essentially useless.

"I was greedy. The Eternal Mangekyō's abilities are powerful; the system wouldn't give them for free," Kouki chuckled.

He then meditated for two hours before sleeping.

The next morning, Kouki woke up early.

"System, give me..." He almost checked in, but stopped. The system said better rewards came from special locations. He considered the Hokage's office, the Hokage Rock, the Academy, the Uchiha compound, and other clan compounds.

"Let's try the Hokage's office today," he decided. He was Konoha Military Police; patrolling was his duty.
