Kouki's thoughts were interrupted by a commotion. He saw a blond young man approaching – Minato Namikaze, the Yellow Flash. Minato had used the Flying Thunder God Technique to return to the village after seeing the Planetary Devastation.

People excitedly welcomed him.

"Minato's popularity is incredible," Kouki thought. No wonder he defeated Orochimaru and became the Fourth Hokage. Hiruzen probably wouldn't have chosen anyone else.

Thinking of Minato's tragic end, Kouki sighed. Minato was a great character, powerful and righteous, yet he and Kushina died. This strengthened Kouki's resolve to become strong quickly. The ninja world was dangerous; strength was king!

"Ichiraku Ramen?"

Kouki found himself near Ichiraku Ramen. "Let's try it," he thought, entering the shop.

"Boss, one bowl of ramen!" Kouki sat down.

Note: Teuchi was still young at this time, not an old man yet.

"Kouki?"

A surprised voice called out – a girl's voice. Kouki turned and recognized her. "Yūhi Kurenai?"

Kurenai was a mature woman in the anime, but now she was a young girl, still beautiful.

Kouki remembered from his past life that Kurenai was his classmate. The Uchiha clan was arrogant, and Kouki, despite his lack of talent, shared their pride. He and Kurenai were only acquaintances. He greeted her politely and ate his ramen.

After eating Ramen, Kouki explored Konoha and then reported to the Konoha Military Police. He patrolled with others in the afternoon. That evening, instead of returning to the Uchiha compound, he went to the training grounds. He planned to train his taijutsu. He'd figured out his plan: taijutsu training to increase chakra.

"According to the academy, chakra is a combination of physical and mental energy. But that's wrong. Chakra comes from the God Tree. The Six Paths Sage gave it to everyone, and it's passed down. Much of this inherited chakra is dormant. Taijutsu and mental training can awaken it! That's the truth!"

Few knew chakra better than Kouki. While the academy's theory was wrong, it was accidentally right. Taijutsu training did increase chakra.

The training grounds were empty except for a few people. A green-clad boy with thick eyebrows caught Kouki's attention.

"Might Guy! Another cheat in Konoha!" Kouki thought.

The Naruto world valued bloodlines. Without Indra or Ashura's blood, becoming truly strong was difficult; Kage level at most.
