Hearing Arjun Gopal asked "Arjun, do we have to take those classes, why don't we play tag for some time"
Arjun then responded, "If we want to have a stable income in the future then we will have to take the auxiliary classes, I plan to take Alchemy classes and Array classes". Arjun wanted to take Alchemy and forging classes, but these classes were on the same time while Alchemy and Arrays had different times and an hour gap between them, enough time for travel.
Ahalya immediately said with a smile and responded "Arjun, I also wanted to take the alchemy classes".
Listening to her Pavitra said with a pout "I want to take Array classes".
Gopal thought for a moment and said, "I will take forging classes".
Leela said "I will take amulet-making classes".
"Ok then it is settled, now let us all go home" Arjun said and started walking, the other four started to follow him.
It was only a five-minute walk.
After coming home, Arjun estimated that the time was around 9:30 am and started preparing lunch for the others, Pavitra, Ahalya, and Leela were helping him and learning how to cook.
The alchemy classes would begin at one 'o'clock and last for two hours, and at 3 'o'clock, the Array classes would also start and last for another two hours. Arjun will be able to reach home by 5:30. Ahalya, and Pavitra's schedules also fall into this.
Leela's classes started at 2 'o'clock while Gopal's started at 1 'o'clock.
After preparing and eating lunch Arjun went to the pill hall located on the alchemy peak. On his way there they saw many disciples on their way.
After going there, they went to the reception and showed their disciple tokens "Senior sister we are here to register for the alchemy classes" Arjun said to the girl, around sixteen years, sitting at the front desk.
The girl noted his and Ahalya's name down and then gave them two books, called Basics of Alchemy.
She then led them into a hall in which the elder was on a stage and hundreds of disciples sitting below. Only 600 to 700 have registered for alchemy from the 16 thousand plus students, and only around a hundred would qualify as alchemists.
After five minutes the elder started the class and said "Hello, everyone I am Elder Surya, appointed to teach you all alchemy. Alchemy is a persistent process and those who are willed can achieve it..." The elder gave an introduction for half an hour.
"Now, all of you open the book, there are 1000 herbs noted down in it with their images, and properties. It also contains 20 1st tier alchemy recipes. You all are required to learn at least fifty percent of them within two months along with their properties and their images, I will also practically show the herbs to you daily and explain their properties"
He then took out five herbs and showed them "The first herb is spirit grass, it is used as a main ingredient in the dieting pills along with other herbs, the dieting herbs are used to reduce food consumption, and now the staff will give a spirit grass for each row, feel the herb and give it to the others, be careful while handling them one spirit grass is worth half a spirit stone"
Like this, he also explained the other four herbs used in the dieting pill.
After the session, Arjun went to the desk and asked the price of a set of herbs used to make the dieting pill. The front desk receptionist said that it would cost 1.5 spirit stones a set.

After hearing this Arjun knew that each bottle of dieting pills could earn him half a spirit stone. Arjun politely thanked the female disciple and then went to the house and then went to the Array classes along with Pavitra.
Arjun wanted to learn alchemy to earn money, while he wanted to learn Arrays for battles. An Array master can easily see through the enemy's Arrrays and even set up Arrays in seconds to win a battle.
Same as the Alchemy Hall, he went to the reception to register and then received a book called Basics of Arrays. Like the Basics of Alchemy, it also contained 1000 materials used to make arrays and blueprints for 20 1st-tier arrays. But there were only 100 or so students inside, and most of them were girls with only twenty or so boys.
There was an elder inside the hall and he also gave an introduction for an hour and then started to teach about the materials used in arrays.
Another two hours passed and after the classes, both started to go home. On their way, they had to pass a market and Arjun observed that 1st-tier low-grade swords were priced at 80 spirit stones each and he was able to observe only one 1st-tier mid-grade sword which was priced at 180 spirit stones.
As they were going through the Market Arjun observed that Pavitra was looking at the jade hairpins but hesitated to buy, so he gave the stall owner a spirit stone and bought a blue patterned jade pin for her.
Pavitra felt happy and said blushingly "Thank... Thank you, Arjun".
Arjun giggled and patted her head and started walking again.
After reaching home, Arjun started to cook dinner. After eating he said "Today, I found us a way to earn spirit stones, we can find the herbs in the mountains, although it is very rare to encounter them, we can find at least two of them if all five of us begin to search".
"Ok Arjun, we can try this" Pavitra agreed and then Arjun started to explain the physical properties of the herb "It looks just like normal grass, but a bit thicker and greener with a faint sense of fragrance coming from it, and it is mostly found in bushes.
After dinner, they all went to sleep.
