Chapter 152: Chapter 151
Kuoh.
The dream was simply wonderful. It was as if I had rested for a hundred years or more, without experiencing any irritants, and because of this, I simply did not want to open my eyes to fully enjoy my half-asleep state.
Judging by the sensations, my body was still lying on the grass by the same river.
And that was strange, because the sun had definitely risen long ago, and its rays were shining through my eyelids. However, since Heracles wanted to linger, so be it. He's a grown boy and all.
I stretched sweetly with my eyes still closed, or rather, I tried to, because...
- "Oh? You want to do it here, outside, in front of everyone? I didn't think you had it in you, husband," said a very familiar voice as my hand touched something soft. I opened my eyes wide and saw, of course, Morgan lying next to me with a sly smile on her face.
- "Huh? What are you doing here?" I didn't understand. "And where's Hera..."
But I had to stop there, because my eyes found the Greek hero, and he looked, to put it mildly... frightened. Heracles was sitting a little way away from us, acting as if he wasn't there.
He seemed afraid to breathe, looking away from us and not moving at all. I also definitely noticed goosebumps running down his body, as well as the fact that instead of twelve lives, he had only FOUR.
- "Should I ask what you did to him?" I asked, rubbing my temples.
- "He tried to prevent me, your wife, from fulfilling my marital duties, and for that he was justly punished, wasn't he, Berserker?" "With a smile on her face, Morgan asked, to which Heracles JUMPED up and quickly, like an obedient little boy, nodded his head intensely. And because of this, his hair shook like a metalhead at a rock concert.
- "I'm sure he gave in to you, otherwise I can't imagine how you managed to take eight of his lives."
- "As befits a gentleman," she said calmly, as if stating the obvious. "And I took not eight, but ten lives. I must admit, the great hero of Greece is a surprisingly resilient man."
My eyebrow twitched.
I didn't know what to be more surprised at. How brazen Morgan could be, or that the greatest hero of Greece had submitted to her and lost TEN lives, even if he had given in.
Hmm... I'll make up for Heracles' suffering in the future. He deserves it.
- "Okay, let's get back to business," I sighed. "Why are you here?"
- "Don't upset me, husband," she said. "Don't you remember what you promised me? And to Beast II, too."
I raised an eyebrow at her words, but quickly realized what she was getting at.
- "I didn't promise anything, Morgan," I grinned. "I don't think a magnificent woman like you would stoop so low as to lie to someone's face, lowering yourself to such an unworthy level, would you?"
- "I made a promise for both of us, my husband, so your words are meaningless," Morgan chuckled. "And who cares about lies if the desired result is achieved, huh?"
Yeah. That's Morgan le Fay. Who would have doubted it?
- "Grrr," Heracles growled quietly, which Morgan naturally heard, and in that same second, a magical beam flew in his direction, which the Berserker managed to dodge.
- "Did you say something, Berserker?" Morgan asked with a smile on her face, to which Heracles shook his head in denial.
- "Good. I thought you wanted to come between the two of us."
- "Leave him alone, for God's sake. He was just trying to support my point of view, which is perfectly reasonable," I rolled my eyes and straightened up. "In any case, an event like this will require time to prepare, with you, me, and Tia involved."
- "We have time, so I don't see any problems."
- "Okay," I shrugged. "You can take care of the arrangements yourselves. I don't really know how to do that. Besides, I still haven't given Tia her ring."
- "I'm glad you made the right decision," Morgan smiled smugly.
- "Right," not "well thought out," huh? I grinned. "Let's go for a walk and let Heracles go home for a while. The weather's nice, and..."
- "Master," I immediately heard Merlin's voice in my head. "You should go home. You have guests."
- "Guests?" I asked, then shrugged. "Well, if that's the case, then..."

Emiya Residence.
When I entered the living room, I immediately saw the guests Merlin had mentioned. They were Yasaka and Kunou, which was to be expected, but somehow early. Yasaka should have rested for a couple more days or so before leaving his palace, I would say.
- "Good afternoon, Yasaka-san, Kunou-chan," I began, sitting down on the sofa opposite them, while Morgan sat down next to me, Heracles headed for the backyard, and Rea-chan served hot tea to the guests. "I was expecting you a little later."
After all, it would be nice to calm down a little after the recent events.
- "I'm fine, thank you for your concern and for saving me," Yasaka smiled. "I hope we didn't distract you with our visit?"
- "Thank you for saving my mother," Kunou bowed her head.
- "Not at all," I shook my head. "I know this may sound rude, but how can I help? I don't think you had any other reason to come here so soon."
- "Are we already boring you?" Yasaka giggled. "But you're right, we do have another reason. I thought about what you said on our date and talked about it with Kunou."
- "Hm?"
- "I, no, we would like you to become a member of our family. A full member, like a father and husband," Yasaka said, then stood up from the sofa and sat in seiza with Kunou, then bowed. "Will you take me as your wife, Romani Archimandrite?"
I raised an eyebrow.
Well, that was bold. And since I had made a promise, it would have been extremely rude and uncivilized not to accept her proposal, even though, in theory, I should be the one in her place.
- "Stand up, Yasaka-san, Kunou-chan. That's unnecessary. You already know my answer and have thought everything through," I said.
- "Yes, I will, Yasaka-san."
- "Thank you," she smiled and straightened her back, while Kunou stood up and gently hugged me. "Now we can start planning the wedding. Amaterasu-sama is willing to allow us to hold it in Takamagahara, if we so desire."
- "It's nice to know we have that option," Morgan immediately interjected, drawing attention to herself. "I am Morgan le Fay, Servant of Berserker and wife of my husband."
- "Nice to meet you, Morgan-san," Yasaka replied calmly and with a smile. "I suppose there is someone else besides us?"
- "Yes, Beast II. That makes three," Morgan nodded and stood up. "I suggest we discuss the preparations elsewhere, just the two of us. My mansion would be perfect for our purposes."
- "And Beast II?" Yasaka asked.
- "We'll pick her up on the way," Morgan replied.
- "Okay," Yasaka nodded and looked at me. "Do you mind if Kunou stays with you?"
- "Sure, have fun," I waved her off and sat Kunou on my lap.
- "Behave yourself, Kunou. I'll be back soon," Yasaka said and patted her daughter on the head.
- "Okay," Kunou nodded and leaned against me. "I'll be good."
- "That's good," Yasaka smiled, and then she and Morgan disappeared, leaving only me, Kunou, and Rea-chan behind. I rested my chin on Kunou's head, which she accepted with a satisfied look, and thought to myself.
So, the next arc seemed to be dedicated to the Rating Games between the heirs, and the finale included a battle between Rias and Sairagorg, who, by the way, hadn't been heard from in a long time, just like Serafall. Anyway, they'll contact me if they need anything. Gabriel and Gabi are in Heaven right now, forming a family relationship, but in the meantime...
- "What shall we do, young lady?" I asked. "Considering your preferences, I suppose you'd like to stroll through the food stalls, right?"
- "Uh-huh," Kunou replied enthusiastically.
- "Not without me!" we suddenly heard another female voice, which I definitely recognized. Its owner calmly walked around all the closed fields. Heh.
- "We have something to talk about, Magician!"
- "Are you lost, young lady? It's very rude to barge into someone's house without permission, especially for a representative of this country. Didn't they teach you manners?" I smiled.
- "I'm not a child, Magician! Are you being disrespectful to me again?"
- "No, not at all, Ama-chan. That would be extremely immature of me, even towards you, dressed in a middle school uniform," I waved my hand, Kunou giggled quietly, and Rea-chan kept a professional stoic expression on her face.
- "I'm not 'Ama-chan'! And I like this uniform!"
- "Anyway, Ama-chan, let's get going. You can tell me everything on the way, okay?"
