Uchiha Gate: From Konoha to One Piece

Chapter 176: Hashirama’s Eagerness to Be Revived

— — — — — — —

"Hehe! I think so too!"

Hashirama chuckled warmly, his grin broadening as he continued explaining to Kaito and the others.

"Actually, my method is pretty simple—it's very similar to the Sage Mode you've explored with me.

"You just clap your hands together, clear your mind, and let natural energy flow into your body. You keep it within a certain range, then mix it with your spiritual energy and cellular energy.

"During this process, the natural energy naturally combines with your spiritual and cellular energies to create Sage Chakra!"

"Once you get familiar with it and grasp the key points, you can enter Sage Mode anytime, anywhere.

"What do you think? Pretty easy, right?"

Everyone: "..."

"Lady Mito's assessment was spot on—your technique doesn't involve any skill. It's pure luck, like the heavens decided to favor you," Kaito sighed, shaking his head in exasperation.

As expected, it was even more ridiculous than he imagined.

Nawaki looked equally dumbfounded. "How is this even a thing? It sounds unreliable and completely absurd!"

"How is this different from winning the lottery?"

There's no way to learn from it.

"Nawaki! Watch your tone!"

Tsunade glared at her younger brother.

"Haha! Honestly, Nawaki isn't wrong!" Hashirama said with a laugh, casually praising him. "Back then, I really did hit the jackpot!"

"See? I told you so!" Nawaki smirked smugly at his sister, then turned to his grandfather with a thumbs-up. "Still, even so, Grandpa, you're incredible!

"Luck like that isn't something just anyone can have!"

"Kaito said it well—luck is also a part of strength. I think that applies perfectly to you, Grandpa."

"Oh?"

Hashirama stroked his chin, glancing at Kaito. "Makes sense!

"If I weren't lucky, I'd have died countless times on the battlefield before I ever had the chance to grow strong!"

Back in the Warring States period, the world was full of geniuses, talents everywhere. Prodigies weren't rare.

But in the end, most of them either died young or fell in battle.

Even Hashirama and Madara's siblings, who were quite gifted, didn't live to see their potential fully realized.

That's the importance of luck.

"By the way," Hashirama's expression grew serious as he recalled the information he'd recently obtained about the ninja world's past and future. He frowned at Kaito and Uzumaki Mito.

"I've seen the information about the ninja world's past and future. I didn't expect this—I'm the reincarnation of Asura, the Sage of Six Paths' younger son. No wonder I always felt a unique chakra within me."

"Even my Wood Release was developed by studying and mastering this chakra."

"That's probably why my Wood Release can't be inherited by my descendants or taught to others."

Otherwise, even if it were a Kekkei Tota, it should theoretically be transferable like other techniques.

Clearly, Wood Release is special—it requires the unique factor within Asura's chakra to learn.

Even Uchiha Madara mastered Wood Release by merging Hashirama's blood and obtaining Asura's chakra.

Future cases like Obito and Yamato would be similar.

"I see," Kaito nodded knowingly. "First Hokage, your Wood Release is essentially a fusion of Yang, Earth, and Water attributes, forming a Kekkei Tota, correct?

"On top of that, it likely incorporates the unique factor from Asura's chakra?"

"Exactly!"

Hashirama confirmed with a nod. "That's pretty much it!

"From what I've seen, the Sage of Six Paths wasn't as benevolent as people think."

"He repeatedly reincarnated the chakras of Asura and Indra, pitting them against each other. I suspect his motives were far from noble."

"Besides, when I sensed the mark and connection left in my soul during the contract earlier, it became even clearer."

"If he didn't know that reincarnating his sons' chakras would lead to endless conflict, he wouldn't have done it."

"And the way he spread chakra through the world under the guise of promoting peace and understanding—it's starting to feel more like a method to incite chaos."

"He was too intelligent to not foresee the consequences. Even if he didn't realize it initially, he had over a thousand years to observe the endless wars in the ninja world."

"Yet he allowed it, maybe even encouraged it, fueling conflicts for his own gain."

"It feels like he was cultivating us, like insects in a jar."

"His true goal might have been the souls and chakra of the fallen ninjas."

At that moment, Hashirama's demeanor turned sharp and perceptive.

This was the man who ended the Warring States era, defeated Uchiha Madara, and founded the Konoha Village—the great Senju Hashirama.

"That's very likely," Kaito affirmed, nodding. "I've suspected this for a while. After seeing the marks and connections in your soul today, I'm convinced."

"The Sage of Six Paths would never want us to unite the ninja world, end the wars, and achieve true peace."

"To him, peace means the decline of ninja strength and fewer ninja deaths."

"Even the number of ninjas would eventually decline."

"That wouldn't align with his interests."

"True, in normal circumstances, prolonged peace would reduce both the number and power of ninjas."

"But for us, that doesn't have to be the case."

"Whether it's exploring other worlds or preparing to face the Otsutsuki clan, once I unify the ninja world, I'll continue strengthening the ninja force and raising its limits."

"I'll also integrate ninjas into every aspect of daily life."

"Using ninjutsu for farming, construction, and transforming the world will make it better and more beautiful."

"Ninjutsu will become an essential part of peace, not just a tool for war."

"This way, instead of declining, ninjas and ninjutsu will thrive in prosperity even during peace."

"First Hokage, you must've noticed this from the recent engineering projects, right?"

He had deployed many ninjas skilled in Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water Release to assist in construction.

From building houses to crafting furniture, ninjas were indispensable. Wind Release could cut wood and sculpt. Fire Release could dry and heat. Water Release polished and refined.

"That's true!"

Hashirama nodded with a smile. "In the past, we issued minor tasks like weeding, but deliberately applying ninjutsu to construction and production with such clear purpose feels like a first."

"This is the first time I've seen such a deliberate and thoughtful approach."

"Fourth Hokage, your idea is fantastic!"

"I can already imagine a peaceful world where ninjas are no longer mercenaries or killers, and ninjutsu is no longer just a tool for war. Instead, they'll reshape the world, creating a true ninjutsu civilization."

"That vision—it's beautiful and inspiring."

Realizing this, Hashirama felt how narrow-minded he and Madara had been in the past.

Their methods and ideals were insufficient to change the ninja world's cruel fate.

Only Kaito's vision had the potential to transform it.

"That's true!"

Hearing this, both Uzumaki Mito and Tsunade couldn't help but nod in agreement.

Nawaki scratched the back of his head and grinned. "I don't fully understand it yet, but I think it sounds pretty amazing!"

He wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but he had a talent for sensing things beneath the surface.

"This is something everyone needs to work on together! I can't do it alone," Kaito said with a shake of his head and a soft smile.

"No!"

Hashirama shook his head firmly. "Just the fact that you've come up with such a comprehensive idea and are willing to put it into practice, despite the cost, is already incredible!"

"The rest... well, it's up to everyone in the ninja world who truly desires peace to join in."

"Let's not dwell on this for now—it's a long-term goal!"

"What really shocked me were the details you shared about the future!"

Hashirama's tone shifted, becoming heavier. "The brutality is hard to even imagine!"

"If you hadn't intervened out of nowhere, the future would've been unimaginably tragic."

"In the Fourth Great Ninja War, the power gap was pushed so high that regular ninja armies became little more than cannon fodder!"

"And the Otsutsuki clan... they're terrifying beings."

"It seems we need to start preparing early."

"Compared to them, even the Sage of Six Paths and Otsutsuki Kaguya don't seem as frightening!"

"Oh, right," Hashirama said, his brow furrowing as he turned to Kaito. "From the info you shared, that Otsutsuki Isshiki, who was supposedly killed by Kaguya, isn't completely dead, is he? He's still lurking in the ninja world, and didn't you mention he has a small divine tree too?"

"That's correct," Kaito confirmed with a nod. "In the future, this guy will reincarnate by taking over the body of someone named Jigen."

"Actually, he might have already reincarnated by now."

"The Otsutsuki's parasitic abilities are a real headache. If we don't find a way to neutralize it, eradicating their clan will be nearly impossible."

"I'll work on that in the future!"

If he could figure out a way to crack the parasitic technique through Kaguya, it would be ideal.

If not, Kaito resolved to capture Isshiki, as well as Momoshiki, Kinshiki, and Urashiki, and study them thoroughly.

"Hmm."

Hashirama nodded thoughtfully. "Looks like that's all on you, then!"

"Even Tobirama might not have a solution for something this complicated."

"No, we need to revive ourselves properly as soon as possible! Otherwise, there's no way to keep improving our strength."

"If we don't reach Six Paths-level power, we won't even have a chance to fight against the Otsutsuki clan or that Imu guy from the Pirate World."

"Honestly, I even need to figure out a way to get Madara and Tobirama under contract too!"

"Ugh, this is such a headache!"

Hashirama pinched the bridge of his nose, looking over at Kaito. "Fourth, do you have a way to speed up our revival?"

Kaito spread his hands with a wry smile. "For now, we'll have to wait."

"Either we find Madara's Rinnegan, which Black Zetsu has hidden somewhere, and use that to cheat the system and bring you back..."

"Or I need to master Edo Tensei to its absolute peak and figure out a real resurrection technique through enlightenment."

"These are our only two options right now."

Of course, if the Pirate World somehow had a Resurrection Fruit, that'd be a game-changer—but as far as he knew, no such fruit existed.

"I see."

Hashirama nodded in understanding. "Then focus on perfecting Edo Tensei for now and work on developing that resurrection technique."

"I'll try to convince Madara to cooperate and see if he'll help us locate the Rinnegan."

"I'm sure he can do it—it's just a matter of whether he's willing."

Turning back to Kaito, Hashirama added, "By the way, can I share some information about the Otsutsuki with Madara? Maybe give him a sense of urgency?"

"Don't worry, I won't reveal anything else—just their origins and their future invasion plans."

"As long as it doesn't involve any of your secrets, is that okay?"

Hashirama's goal was clear: to make Madara more cooperative and, if possible, increase his trust in Kaito enough to form a contract.

Leaving Madara, a powerhouse, untapped didn't sit right with Hashirama.

If Madara could be contracted, and Kaito mastered the resurrection technique or helped Madara recover his Rinnegan, they could potentially revive everyone faster.

And with Madara's peak strength, they could possibly recreate a true Ten-Tails or even a smaller version for him to absorb. That alone could push him to Six Paths-level power.

Then, they'd finally have a fighting chance against the likes of the Sage of Six Paths.

After some thought, Kaito nodded. With a mental command, he adjusted the contract seal on Hashirama, granting him permission to discuss Otsutsuki-related info with Madara and Tobirama—while keeping Kaito's secrets safe.

"Done! You can now share non-confidential Otsutsuki info with Madara and Tobirama."

"Whether you can convince them is up to you."

"Hopefully, you'll bring me good news soon!"

"Also, even though you're not fully revived yet, don't neglect your spiritual training. Strengthening your mental and soul power is still useful."

Hearing this, Hashirama slapped his forehead and chuckled. "You're right! I'll focus on meditation and spiritual training for now."

"Alright, let's wrap it up for today!"

Kaito turned to Tsunade. "Tsunade, I'll need you to get me some of Jiraiya's blood and cell samples as soon as possible."

"Leave it to me!" Tsunade said confidently before teleporting away in an instant.

— — —

Using observation and sensory abilities, Kaito and Mito tracked Tsunade to a bar where Jiraiya was drinking and chatting with some ladies.

Without wasting time, Tsunade beat him up, collected his blood and cell samples during the chaos, and tossed him a vial of healing medicine that Kaito had developed.

Jiraiya, lying on the ground with a caved-in chest and a few broken ribs, clutched the vial and muttered tearfully, "What did I do to deserve this? I paid my bill! I wasn't even peeping!"

Poor guy.

Three minutes later, Tsunade returned and tossed two test tubes to Kaito. "Here you go! All done!"

Kaito caught them, inspected the contents, and gave her an approving look. "That's… an impressively direct method. Way simpler than what I suggested."

"And it won't even make Jiraiya suspicious. Brilliant!" He gave her a thumbs-up.

"Hmph, of course!"

Tsunade smirked, crossing her arms. "Dealing with that pervert is my specialty! Why waste time explaining anything when a beating works just fine?"

"And really, he was at a bar, flirting with girls. If I wasn't going to hit him, who would?"

Nawaki, watching all this, couldn't help but mutter under his breath, "Poor Jiraiya. Having my sister as your teammate really is the worst luck ever."

Truly tragic.
