ULTIMATE DEFENDERS PROGRAM : A-5-ET-34 Villain Backstory: ABADDON It all starts with a "Thunderous Thunderstorm". Three bolts of lightning split the sky,each striking different locations and signifying the fragmentation of the Kinetic-friction-lux ∆Ψx pill. The first bolt,imbued with strength-based friction powers,struck a man on the brink of death- Zachariah Josefs,who was buried alive beneath the earth. The second bolt hit Nelson Z. Newell, granting him speed-based Friction powers. The,third,charged with destructive Friction energy struck the ground. But this story is about Zachariah. Zachariah's Life had been hell. His father beat him, relentlessly, shattering his left leg, leaving him with a permanent limp. Eventually,his father got arrested for embezzlement,but that didn't bring peace. His mother, Tamie,relieved to be free from the abuse,often told his father he needed Christ in his life.Ironically, months later she married Bishop Donald Josefs,a wealthy, well-known church leader.Donald treated Zachariah like a ghost- smiling only when Tamie was around,until she's away on her journalism trips. At just 11 years old, Zachariah was forced to fast,often left without food under the guise of spiritual discipline and the naive Zachariah obeyed, believing it was all part of "God's plan". Then came tragedy.His mother died during a journalism assignment, falling from a high building when a safety handle gave way. Devastated Zachariah turned to his Stepfather for comfort, only to hear, "Maybe it was God's plan". Over the years Zachariah has been bullied verbally his Stepfather and classmates ( for his crippled leg),but Zachariah clung to his faith hoping for a divine comeback,like Joseph from the Bible. Years passed.At 27, Zachariah got married to Claire and had a daughter,Minnie. He secured a steady office job and became a part-time pastor at one of Donald's church. But his boss,a fellow church member, constantly mistreats him and soon,fired him. Struggling to find,work Zachariah took it as "God's plan" and decided to become a full-time pastor. To his delight, Donald finally began to acknowledge him, praising him in public. Life seemed manageable. . After two years as a full-time pastor, Zachariah sensed something off with Claire. Though she smiled,he often caught her crying at night.When he asked, she brushed it off, blaming it on thoughts of her late mother. Then one day,she asked him to quit being a pastor and find another job. Enraged,he yelled,"My Stepfather finally acknowledged me!This is God's plan" Claire,with a a strange,smile simply replied,I understand".Later that day, while at church,guilt gnawedat him. Then a text from Claire flashed on his phone :"It's time you know the truth.Come home".His heart pounded. He rushed home. As he opened the front door,he heard laughter- and moaning -from the bedroom.Bursting in,he froze in shock. On the bed were Donald,his Ex-boss and Claire- crying.Donald and the Ex-boss grinned. The Ex-boss chuckled,"You caught us,but let me expl...".Claire broke free ,ran to Zachariah, and clung to him sobbing. She revealed the horrifying truth : Donald had orchestrated everything.The firing,the rejection from other jobs-it was all a plot to make Zachariah play pastor and dependent on Donald's church. When Claire resisted Donald's advances,he drugged her,staged photos of her with the Ex-boss,and blackmailed her into submission.This been going on for 9 months. Zachariah stood stunned. But Donald,calm and collected,approached him with a sick smile and said "You can forgive me, right?,it's probably God's plan". That phrase-the same one Donald had used to justify every atrocity. Zachariah snapped,punching Donald. But his Ex-boss retaliated and with his crippled left leg,Zachariah struggled to get back up and fight back.They beat him mercilessly as Claire screamed for them to stop.When they finally left. Claire held Zachariah.Bloodied and broken, Zachariah gazed at the ceiling whispering, "Why,God? Why?".The next day, returning from the grocery store, Zachariah felt eyes on him. Before he could react,thugs ambushed him down, and beat him unconscious. When he woke, he was tied up six feet underground.As the rain falls on his face,he saw Donald standing above the grave,his face twisted in disgust. Zachariah begged for forgiveness but all he got was dirt in his mouth. "May your soul rest in peace" Donald sneered. Don't worry I'll take care of your wife.Fear gripped Zachariah's heart,but Donald simply added,"Don't be scared,This was all God's plan". Zachariah screamed,cursing God and his Stepfather as the last shovelful of dirt silenced him.

BEEP....BEEP...BEEP... Like a flatline of a hospital monitor,silencefilled the air-until lightning struck the grave.Ten days later,he woke up and crawled his way out of the massive hole he was in. His body was healed.The limp was gone.For 20 days he wandered the forest,each passing day,he felt more energetic,which he used to fuel his thirst for revenge.On the 26th day,he found his way home.But the nightmare wasn't over.As he opened the door, he heard Claire screaming.Five thugs pinned her to the ground while Minnie watched in horror. Rage consumed Zachariah.Each step he took sparked with friction. As he punched the first thug,the friction caused by the punch sparked and caused him to transform-white energy (Kinetic-infused particles) enveloped his body. In a blur of speed and fury,he tore through the thugs, killing all of them .Claire stared at him, shocked yet relieved to see him alive.Fueled by vengeance, Zachariah set out to kill Donald.He encountered his Ex-boss.The man, stunned to see him alive,tried to stall, claiming Donald had fled the state.Taking the chance,the ex-boss shot him in the chest.But Zachariah didn't die,In a flash,he disarmed the Ex-boss.Fearful,the man begged,"it's not a Christian thing to kill me! You're not like this Zachariah". But Zachariah,his eyes gleaming with madness, whispered "Zachariah is dead. I've been reborn as... Abaddon". Black K-i particles covered his white glow as he morph into a Venom-like physique. An upsidedown cross above his monstrous like mouth glowed on his face-The only trace of white light visibly seen.With his monstrous hand,he crushed the ex-boss boss's Abdomen.Backup arrived but they were all massacred,including the cops.He sent one last text to Claire: "Goodbye". Then he vanished.Though he sends huge money to her,time to time.( He earned thru crimes).To him all pastors were fakes,and God was fake. 3years lates, Abaddon tracked Donald at a warehouse. Turned out The church was a front to cover up illegal acts lead by an underworld organization. Abaddon killed all the man,as Donald escaped. Abaddon caught up to him,the old man didn't recognize him at first.But Abaddon took his time, beating Donald to a bloody pulp.As Donald begged for mercy"..In the name of God" ,Abaddon leaned in, whispering the words that haunted him his dreams. "Don't be scared.This was probably God's plan". Donald finally realized who it was,his eyes widened In horror, as Abaddon opened his monstrous mouth,unleashing a sonic energy blast, tearing his Stepfather to shreds. But Abaddon's rampage didn't go unnoticed. He was confronted by the hero/agent Scarvora "The FlyFlash". Abaddon wasn't interested in a fight,but Scarvora wont back down, going on about how evil for killing a man of Christ. That accusation made Abaddon snap, launching an elongated punch at him.Their Battle was fierce. Abaddon, superior,had raw power( stronger than Scarvora), although he was fast,Scarvora's speed outmatched him. Still, Abaddon's deadly arsenal pushed Scarvora to his limits,it was like a death battle. It triggering Scarvora's PTSD from fighting The BluDevil. Scarvora, desperate and beatened,led Abaddon on a destructive chase,the two speedsters raced through the city,like a game of cat and mouse. Finally Abaddon caught up, crushing Scarvora,Wreck-it Ralph style.Luckily Princess Sparkle arrived, matching Abaddon's strength,but still struggling

 Abaddon's powers seemed similar to Scarvora,so they hatched a plan to lure him to the bridge and find a way to push him to the water ( Scarvora and Abaddon's weakness). Still,they struggled against him, bringing him to the bridge was a bad idea cuz Abaddon used the cars ( with People inside) and managing to catch Princess Sparkle off guard-immobilizing her . He used his sonic energy blast on Scarvora who somehow managed to survive,but seriously injured and in need of a hospital. As he prepared to kill Scarvora. Out of nowhere,He recieved a powerful dropkick from an invisible being, sending him crashing into the water.Detransformed he barely escaped. Somewhere,in a dimly lit hotel room, Zachariah,no, Abaddon,sent a final text to Claire: "it's Over"

Abaddon powers:

His skin glows bright white enough to light up a small room.This glow comes from his bioluminescent skin, same as Scarvora, just white instead of yellow.His K-i particles creates and cover his glowing body in dark energy.This energy forms a thick, black armor-like shell that makes him look huge, scary, and monstrous.Sometimes, you can see the white light peeking through the black energy, making him look unstable and eerie—like he's about to explode or evolve into something worse.He has a Venom-like appearance, but with No eyes—just an upside-down cross on his forehead,A huge, monstrous mouth with sharp teeth.A long, white-electric tongue.His chest crackles with visible white lightning.Abaddon's suit is a dense shell of compressed kinetic energy, cooked up by his Friction powers. It's less about zapping, more about force, momentum, and motion mastery.The armor acts like a shield of solidified motion. The more force applied against it, the more energy it stores or redirects.Every move Abaddon makes builds kinetic energy. He hits harder the more he moves. It's like he's charging up mid-fight.He can shift the armor's hardness or thickness depending on the need—go full tank modeWith enough stored kinetic force, he can release devastating shockwaves—from punch-blasts to ground-quaking stomps. Rather than absorb any energy, it's more kinetic-based. So, if you try to bulldoze him? He eats that momentum and throws it back. The armor doesn't slow him—it enhances his movement. 

Abaddon's kinetic powers go way beyond Scarvora's, giving him fine-tuned control over both objects and raw force. Through mastery of the K-I particles embedded in his armor, Superior K-i particles that let him lift, launch, or halt heavy objects with scary ease.With split-second modulation, he can stop a bullet mid-air, or deflect a wrecking ball like it's made of paper. He doesn't just block—he counterbalances.When he taps deep into his abilities, you'll see white, crackling sparks bursting from his chest and arms. His black kinetic armor isn't just protection—it's a conductor. It gathers, stores, and channels Friction-generated energy( punches,etc) straight into his attacks or defenses.By scratching or rubbing the armor, Abaddon ignites extra kinetic charge—boosting strength, pushing his manipulation limits, or supercharging his next attack. its fuse.

While the armor dulls impacts by absorbing force, Abaddon still feels pain—roughly 40% of it. So yeah, he's a beast—but not a machine.

Unlike Scarvora, whose whole shtick is speed and finesse, Abaddon trades some of that swiftness for brute force and control.He's not slow—hell no—but he ain't gonna outpace Scarvora in straight sprint. 

Abaddon's Kinetic Arsenal

1. Kinetic Particle Weapons :Abaddon can morph his hands into kinetic energy-infused particles, shaping them into Viking-style weapons—axes, hammers, broadswords—glowing white and sparking at the edges. These aren't surgical tools but blunt-force brutes: capable of smashing rock, slicing paper, and knocking enemies unconscious. The power stems from Abaddon's control over friction, allowing him to generate and mold kinetic energy particles into solid, offensive constructs.

2. Stretchy Limbs :Abaddon's armor, especially around his arms, can stretch and reshape. He can punch from across a room, latch onto rooftops, or mold his arm into a colossal kinetic sword for aerial slashes. This elasticity isn't physical alone—it's guided by the kinetic particles within his armor, making each extension precise and potent.

3. S.K.E.B. G.O.A.T. (Sonic Kinetic Energy Blast) (Ultimate move) :Abaddon can compress and charge kinetic energy until it erupts as a high-frequency sonic blast. When released, the SKEB GOAT tears through flesh, ruptures eardrums, and leaves devastation in its wake. The longer he charges, the more catastrophic the release. His friction ability is the core, acting like a kinetic combustion engine.

4. Explosive Kinetic Pulse:Abaddon can release a controlled explosion of kinetic force from his body, sending opponents flying. It's non-lethal but highly disorienting—ideal for crowd control or sudden breaks in combat. Unlike SKEB, it doesn't require vocal release or a charging period.

5. BoomSprout:Unlike Scarvora's static duplicates, Abaddon creates dynamic energy extensions—statue-like limbs or torsos that burst from his own body. They act autonomously but remain connected to him. If struck from behind, a second Abaddon might sprout from his back to retaliate mid-combat. These projections can punch, defend, or grab targets in real time, functioning like reactive, mobile body doubles.

6. Energy Nullification Sphere:By forming a white, translucent sphere between his arms, Abaddon can absorb, trap, or dispel energy attacks. The sphere interferes with the incoming energy's frequency using friction-generated kinetic fields, essentially 'drowning' energy in motionless force. It works against lightning, plasma, and similar projectiles.

Note: The more complex the ability, the more kinetic energy it drains. The SKEB GOAT and Energy Nullification require high reserves. 

7. Photographic Memory – Near-perfect recall of enemy tactics and environmental layouts.

In addition to water( weakness), Abaddon can also detransform through a far more perilous method. Unlike Scarvora, who harmlessly releases his energy into the sky, Abaddon's detransformation process is pernicious. When he detransforms, Abaddon unleashes a catastrophic 2-minute-long explosion wave. This devastating blast is capable of annihilating its surroundings, potentially leveling cities, towns, villages, or "maybe" even entire countries.Given the apocalyptic consequences of Abaddon's explosive detransformation, the safest and most prudent method of reverting him to his human form is indeed by submerging him in water, effectively rendering him powerless without causing widespread destruction.
