Happy skillfully dodged the whips aimed at the car, managing to drive it out of range.
Tony, Happy, and Pepper quickly exited the car just before Ivan Vanko's second attack with his electric whips completely destroyed it.
Since his main target was Tony, Ivan Vanko paid little attention to Pepper and Happy. His relentless attacks forced Tony and the group to move further away from their car.
Despite trying to get close to his car, Tony struggled to avoid Ivan Vanko's attacks. Ivan Vanko left him no opportunity to approach the vehicle.
Happy also attempted to reach the car amidst Ivan Vanko's assault on Tony. Unfortunately, Ivan Vanko positioned himself directly in front of their car, making it almost impossible to access it. Happy decided to take a roundabout route, taking advantage of Ivan Vanko's distraction with Tony. The people on the road made it difficult for him to shoot bullets at Ivanko, so retrieving Tony's suitcase became the priority.
Meanwhile, Pepper called John as the situation seemed to be out of control, and she could only put her faith in him.
"John! We're under attack!" Pepper shouted into her phone, fear and urgency in her voice.
On the other end of the line, John's voice came through, calm but focused. "Pepper, I'm on my way. Just hang tight and send me the location."
While Ivan Vanko was busy with Tony, Happy was finally able to reach the car. He quickly took out the suitcase from the trunk and hurled it towards Tony.
"Boss," he shouted to catch Tony's attention.
In the midst of the intense fight, which would better be called a ruthless one-sided attack by Ivan Vanko, Tony saw Happy throwing him the suitcase.
However, before the suitcase could reach Tony, Ivan Vanko lunged forward and intercepted it. He easily deflected the incoming suitcase and sent it flying off to the side, crashing into a nearby car.
Happy quickly pulled out the gun from his pocket and aimed it at Ivan Vanko, desperately trying to create an opportunity for Tony to catch his breath. However, before he could fire the bullets, Ivan Vanko swiftly flung the electric whip at him, tearing through his arm that held the gun.
Happy let out a cry of pain as the electric whip sliced through his arm. The gun fell from his grasp as Happy stumbled back, clutching his injured arm. He gritted his teeth, keeping himself focused despite the pain.
Ivan Vanko cracked a smirk, his eyes gleaming with sadistic satisfaction. Without wasting any more time, he hurled the other electric whip towards Tony who had almost reached the suitcase, once again flinging the suitcase away from Tony's reach.
Looking at the terrible condition of Happy, Tony's blood boiled as he tried to find a way to defeat the monster in front of him.
"Let's see how you fare without your suit, Stark," Ivan smirked at Tony's current condition and hurled the two whips in his hands at him.
Tony quickly dodged the incoming whips, rolling out of the way. Despite being without his suit, he was still nimble and agile, relying on his natural reflexes to stay out of harm's way.
As the whips flew past him, Tony quickly entered the nearby store. He had no choice but to enter the store as Ivan had him cornered.
As he entered the room, he spotted a fire extinguisher on the wall. Without a second thought, he grabbed it and sprayed the foam into the path of the whips. The foam stuck to the electric currents, temporarily disrupting the flow of electricity.
Using this momentary distraction, Tony lunged forward, delivering a swift punch to Ivan Vanko's gut which was not covered by his armour. The blow caught him off guard, causing him to stumble backward. Tony took advantage of the opening and followed up with a series of quick punches and kicks, aiming for weak spots in his opponent's armor.
Ivan Vanko grunted in pain, but quickly recovered, retaliating with a powerful swing of his arm. Tony managed to duck just in time, narrowly avoiding the blow.
"You're going to have to do better than that, Stark," Ivan Vanko sneered, his voice dripping with malice.
Tony panted, blood flowing from his shoulder and knees, as he tried to find a way to reach his suit. The fight had caused a traffic jam, causing people to flee from the location. Despite only a few minutes having passed since the fight started, the area had quickly cleared out.
Tony needed to find a way to incapacitate Ivanko and reach his suit before it was too late. However, Ivan Vanko was blocking the store's exit, leaving Tony with no choice but to rush to another room within the store.
Seeing a stack of crates nearby, Tony had an idea. He quickly grabbed one and hurled it at Ivan Vanko with all his strength. The crate collided with Ivan Vanko chest, momentarily stunning him and giving Tony a precious few seconds to make his move.
Tony sprinted towards the back of the store and entered another room, searching for anything that could help him against his formidable opponent. He locked the room on his way inside in order to buy some time. As he observed the room he saw a door leading to the outside. The room was also filled with cluttered shelves.
Among the cluttered shelves, Tony spotted a stack of industrial magnets used for heavy lifting. Tony knew that these magnets could potentially disrupt the electromagnetism that fueled Ivanko's suit.
"You're running out of tricks, Stark!" Ivan Vanko growled, charging towards Tony with his whips crackling with energy. He
Tony who heard Ivan Vanko shout, quickly placed the magnets he had found in strategic locations around the store.
Tony knew that without his suit, he would have to rely on his resourcefulness and quick thinking to activate the magnets. He assessed the situation and realized that he needed a power source to activate the magnets.
Scanning the room, Tony spotted an old generator in the corner. He quickly assessed its condition and, finding it still functional, he got to work. Tony used his knowledge of electronics to hotwire the generator and connected it to the magnets.
With the power source established, Tony carefully positioned the magnets in key areas, using his intuition to gauge the distances and angles that would have the greatest effect on disrupting Ivan Vanko suit.
Once the magnets were in place, Tony yanked on the generator's pull cord to activate it. The generator roared to life, sending a surge of electricity through the magnets.
Just then Ivan Vanko broke the door of the room and entered it only to be stunned by the sudden changes in the environment.
The magnetic fields generated by the industrial magnets began to interfere with the electromagnetism powering Ivanko's suit, weakening its functionality and causing his whips to sputter. The electrical currents in his suit fluctuated, throwing him off balance momentarily.
