Six months later...
John was standing inside a deep forest glancing at Banner standing before him. Banner had transformed himself into Hulk and was looking fiercely at him.
He was trying his best to reign on his anger as John was hurling multiple verbal taunts at him.
Moroeover John had a metal ball in his hand which he would throw at Banner's head trying his best to get him riled up.
Banner was letting out low menacing roars at John with his fists clenched and his feet digging in the ground while fighting the urge to smash John's head.
Quite a distance away from them Tony was sitting beside a tree with a plate of sandwich in hand, watching the intense confrontation between Banner and John. He knew that this training exercise was crucial for Banner to learn how to control his anger after the transformation into the Hulk. But looking at John hurling mean verbal assaults at Banner, he couldn't help but smile.
John, on the other hand, seemed to be enjoying taunting Banner, goading him to lose control. He had always been a bit of a troublemaker, but Tony knew that John also had a good heart and meant well. However, his approach to helping Banner was not the most peaceful or productive. Still it was something requested by Banner himself and both of them agreed without a thought.
Meanwhile, Banner was struggling to keep his composure. He was doing his best to control the raging emotions. He clenched his fists and tried to focus on his breathing, but the constant taunts and the metal ball constantly hitting his head were making it increasingly difficult to maintain his calm.
Finally, Banner couldn't hold back any longer. With a deafening roar, he rushed towards John.
The air crackled with tension as Banner charged towards John, his muscles bulging and his eyes wild with rage. John stood his ground, his expression serious as he prepared to face the onslaught of the Hulk.
As Banner closed in, John swiftly teleported out of the way, reappearing behind the raging green giant. He launched a series of powerful punches at Hulk's back, each blow infused with Haki to maximize their impact. Hulk roared in frustration, swinging around to face his elusive opponent.
John continued to dodge and weave, utilizing his Quake Quake Fruit to create shockwaves that kept Hulk off balance. As the two clashed, John made a conscious effort to maintain his composure, never allowing himself to be swayed by the overwhelming force of the Hulk.
John had already revealed his ability to fly and teleport to Tony and Banner. His trust in them had increased significantly since the time they had helped him in his little trip to Russia. He didn't mind telling them about his abilities as it would significantly improve their teamwork too.
John focused himself, drawing upon the power of the Quake Quake Fruit. The air around him began to vibrate with tremendous force as he unleashed a powerful shockwave towards the oncoming Hulk. The ground shattered beneath the force of his attack, sending debris flying in all directions. The Hulk, however, seemed unfazed as he charged through the quake, his eyes fixed on John with an unyielding determination.
As the two titans clashed, the very earth seemed to shake from the impact. Hulk swung his massive fists at John, who dodged and weaved with incredible agility. John struck back with punches of his own, each one sending shockwaves rippling through the air. The two combatants were locked in a fierce battle, each refusing to back down.
John knew that he couldn't match the raw strength of the Hulk, so he focused on using his Haki to anticipate and evade the Hulk's attacks. He weaved in and out of the Hulk's onslaught, landing precise strikes whenever he saw an opening. His Haki-enhanced observation allowed him to predict the Hulk's movements with uncanny accuracy.
The Hulk, on the other hand, was driven by pure rage and brute force. He seemed relentless, his attacks fueled by an unyielding fury. John could sense the overwhelming anger that consumed the Hulk, and he knew that he had to find a way to break through to him.
As the battle raged on, John began to speak to the Hulk in an attempt to reach the man buried deep within the monster. "Banner, you have to calm down," he shouted over the din of battle. "You're stronger than this anger. You can control it!"
The Hulk seemed to pause for a moment, as if the sound of John's voice had pierced through the haze of rage. John took the opportunity to land a powerful blow, staggering the Hulk and causing him to stumble backwards. The ground shook with the force of the impact, but the Hulk remained on his feet.
John continued to speak to the Hulk, his voice filled with sincerity and compassion. He shared his own struggles with anger and how he had learned to channel it into something positive. He urged the Hulk to find the strength to do the same, to overcome the overwhelming rage that threatened to consume him.
The Hulk seemed to waver, his expression shifting as if a battle raged within him. John saw a glimmer of recognition in the Hulk's eyes, a spark of the man he knew lay dormant beneath the surface.
With a mighty roar, the Hulk unleashed a devastating wave of pure force, but this time it was not aimed at John. Instead, the shockwave rippled outwards, shaking the ground and sending fissures through the earth. It was as if the Hulk was trying to release the pent-up fury that had consumed him.
John knew that this was his chance. He focused all of his power and unleashed a massive quake, amplifying the Hulk's release of energy and causing a tremendous explosion that rocked the entire area. The force of the blast sent both combatants flying in opposite directions, the shockwave rippling outwards for miles.
As the dust settled, John rose to his feet and looked around, searching for any sign of the Hulk. To his relief, he saw Banner standing amidst the wreckage, his expression no longer filled with rage but with a sense of clarity and understanding.
"Thank you," Banner said, his voice filled with genuine gratitude.
"Well it san be considered as training for me too," John answered as he was genuinely benefitting from his fight with Hulk.
"Seems like you have grown stronger again," Banner sighed as he walked away from the rubble.
"That I did," John smirked as he approached Banner and they both sat near a tree.
Looking at the approaching Tony John spoke," I don't how productive this kind of training would be to you, but I can say for surely that you have improved quite a bit since the last few times we had done this.
A smile crept on Banner's face as he agreed with John.
"Fifteen minutes to enter in the rage mode and 20 to get out of it," Tony spoke to the group as he sat down next to them.
They had termed the uncontrollable state of Hulk as a Rage mode and the training specifically focused on Banner's ability to control and effectively shorten the time where he would lose his sanity.
"Quite an improvement," John muttered as he opened the system panel.
