Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 756: An Urgent Call for Help

The next day, Ye Fei arrived at the Wu family's estate early with his two companions. Compared to the day before, the estate was now adorned with festive decorations, and a steady stream of guests—both martial artists and ordinary people from Zhongyuan City who were friendly with the Wu family—came to offer their congratulations.

The ordinary guests simply found the trio striking, with the man handsome and the women beautiful, though the one-man-two-women arrangement seemed a bit unusual. The martial artists, however, were utterly shocked.

They never expected the great alliance leader, Ye Zhilin, to personally attend the Wu family's wedding.

They all thought they had made the right decision to come and immediately crowded around Ye Zhilin, trying to curry favor, much to her annoyance.

Fortunately, this didn't last long. Since both the bride and groom lived on the estate, and Wu Guanghua wasn't fond of the traditional wedding procession, the ceremony began quickly.

At this point, Ye Fei and the two women caught sight of the bride, Xiao Cui. She was delicate, gentle, and quite lovely—it seemed the young master Wu was indeed fortunate.

As the wedding proceeded, Ye Zhilin seemed to completely forget her identity as the leader of the martial arts alliance. She laughed and played like an ordinary young girl, thoroughly enjoying herself.

Tang Rou, on the other hand, was the opposite. Though she was happy for the newlyweds, there was a faint trace of melancholy in her eyes.

Seemingly sensing Tang Rou's thoughts, Ye Fei quietly took her hand and whispered, "Don't worry, we'll have our day too. It's just that I'm still young, so you might have to wait a few years."

"Who wants a day like that? Being ordered around like a puppet? I'm not interested!"

Tang Rou said, her tone deliberately dismissive, though her words didn't match her feelings. She knew Ye Fei had more than just her in his life, and while she envied the idea of a wedding, she didn't dare hope for it. Being with Ye Fei was enough for her.

Ye Fei smiled and didn't say more. Though he had plans in mind, he didn't want to reveal them yet. After all, it wasn't something that could be achieved in the short term. Wouldn't it be better to surprise them later?

After the wedding, the guests took their seats. Thanks to Ye Zhilin's status, Ye Fei and Tang Rou were seated at the main table, though this wasn't necessarily a good thing, as it made them the focus of endless toasts.

Ye Zhilin, carefree and unrestrained, accepted every toast without using her internal energy to resist the alcohol. It didn't take long before she was tipsy, her head swaying left and right as she kept trying to burrow into Ye Fei's arms, even demanding they "train" together.

Though outsiders didn't know what "training" meant, such behavior was unbecoming of the leader of the martial arts alliance. Helpless, Ye Fei released his domain, holding her firmly in place, which made her think she was under some kind of spell.

The wedding banquet lasted from around 10 a.m. to well past 3 p.m. By then, many of the guests were drunk.

Surprisingly, Ye Zhilin, who had been the first to get tipsy, was now sober again.

Once Ye Fei released her from his domain, she immediately grabbed his collar and demanded, "Ye Fei, tell me how you did that just now!"

In her excitement, she reverted to calling him by his full name, a deliberate move to remind him that she was now his ancestor, not his wife, and he owed her an explanation.

Ye Fei hadn't intended to keep it from her, so he quietly explained the concept of his domain.

After hearing it, Ye Zhilin quickly lost interest—her current strength wasn't enough to use such a technique, no matter how much she understood it.

Tang Rou, however, was thrilled. Her man was so powerful—not only could he travel thousands of miles in an instant, but he could also control everything within a certain range.

Wasn't this like being a god? She had once thought of enduring humiliation to protect him, but now she realized how foolish that had been.

Though Ye Zhilin was sober now, given her status, she couldn't join in the traditional wedding pranks. So, the three bid farewell to the Wu family and left the estate.

With everything settled, Ye Fei didn't want to stay any longer.

After discussing with the two women, they decided to return to the Tang family to say goodbye to Ji Shuixiu before heading back to Wanghai.

As for Tang Zhizhong, Tang Rou didn't feel like dealing with him—her father had truly broken her heart.

Back at the Tang family, Ji Shuixiu held Tang Rou's hand, reluctant to let her go.

Tang Zhizhong, however, was unusually subdued. Seeing that they didn't want to engage with him, he quietly went out to prepare their car. He was filled with regret and could only focus on fulfilling his duties as a father, hoping to rebuild his relationship with his daughter.

Though his motives were still somewhat selfish, at least he was moving in the right direction.

"Mom, if you miss me, you can come visit us in Wanghai. After we go back, I'll find a place near the school for you to stay," Tang Rou said to her mother as they parted, which made Tang Zhizhong's eyes light up.

Tang Zhizhong personally drove Ye Fei and the two women to the airport, then busied himself buying tickets and checking in some local specialties Tang Rou had brought from home. He was so eager to help that it was almost pitiful.

Watching her father's bustling, Tang Rou's eyes softened with compassion. Though he had acted this time, he was still her father who loved her dearly, and now she couldn't help but feel sorry for him.

Seeing Tang Rou's conflicted expression, Ye Fei sighed inwardly. As the saying goes, "It's easier to move a mountain than to change a person's nature." He knew exactly why Tang Zhizhong was being so attentive, but he didn't want to ruin Tang Rou's filial feelings.

Besides, he didn't mind giving Tang Zhizhong some benefits if it made Tang Rou happy.

"Wait here for a moment, I'll go help your father—" Before Ye Fei could finish, a peculiar ringtone sounded from his phone. Hearing it, his expression immediately changed.

This was a special device he had created—no matter where they were, his women could press it to send a signal, which his phone would receive, allowing him to locate them through global positioning. He had given one to each of his women and instructed them to use it only in emergencies.

Pulling out his phone, Ye Fei's face darkened further. The signal was coming from an extremely distant location—the highlands of the southwest.

Currently, all his women are in Wanghai the capital.

The only person who could have sent that signal from such a remote place was one specific woman.
