Chapter 1339: Meeting Erika And Elizabeth Again
-----
Eleanora glanced at me with her kind crimson eyes.
"Well, it sure was quite a journey, but are you ready to resume what we left out?"
It sure was quite an adventure, a longer journey than I imagined, right in between of a mission we were doing here.
Naturally, it feels slightly weird to come back.
However…
"Yeah," I nodded. "I'm more than ready, don't worry… Although I wouldn't mind sleeping for the night."
"Aaah, yeah, I can tell you're quite exhausted, your eyes… Look very tired," she looked at me with concern.
Evergrace.
This is where we battled a large army of draconic lizardmen and their generals.
I remember there was a Necromancer, Nergal was his name? Yes, he should be around as part of my army I left here.
Then there were the three other generals, whose names I don't remember, they merged into a giant three-headed dragon-like monster.
And well, he was easily defeated by Bestellen.
The walls of Evergrace were fully repaired by now, and their gray colored bricks covered by vegetation and flowers, giving it a much more beautiful appearance than before.
The large wooden door closing the entire sector was of course closed, but there seemed to be some guards outside, or rather, a lot of them.
"So is this where humans live?" Wondered Braveblitz. "Wow! It's truly like those medieval fantasies I've seen on books written by ancient humans!"
"Yeah," I nodded. "Hey, notify everyone that we're back."
I talked to a large, tall Lizardman Undead that was standing there.
They looked of course, not like common undead. They were one of the many Abyssal Vampiric Undead I possessed, made out of shadows, blood, and souls merged together.
"Yes sir."
The lizardman nodded, leaping inside the territory. Yes, he could even talk, most of these lizardman had difficulties speaking well, but once they died and became Undead, it was very easy to just order them to talk and they do so rather well.
"Can't we enter? Do we have to wait?" Aurora wondered.
"Yeah, everyone is coming," I nodded. "Ah, some quicker than others."
I heard the footsteps of a certain someone, as I saw someone leaping off the walls.
"Blakeeeee! You're back much sooner than I thought!"
A dazzling pink-haired girl with bright emerald eyes greeted us, as she landed on the ground, shaking it with the force of her jump, creating cracks everywhere.
"Hello, Erika."
I felt much happier out of nowhere… Perhaps to her it was only seven hours, but to me? It was over a week, which even felt like several months too.
"I missed you."
I stepped forward and hugged her first before she were to leap over me, this time I was the one that was very happy to see her.
"E-Eh?"
And before she could realize what happened, I was hugging her very tightly, she blushed slightly, confused that I went for the hug first.
"Blake? You missed me?"
"Yeah, it was a short time for you, but I was many days inside… It feels refreshing to see a familiar face."
"Oh… Heheh… Then let me give you a big smooch!"
Before I could do anything, she stood with the tip of her toes and kissed my lips tenderly.
I felt slightly embarrassed, but I didn't stop her.
It was brief but cute.
"You feel stronger, I can tell your aura is super powerful now…!" She said, analyzing me with her dragon eyes. "And- Eh?! Wait a second, what's that?!"
Our moment was quickly interrupted, as Erika pointed at the distance, noticing the giant made of steel behind me, and the two ethereal beings by his side.
"Hmm? Blake! Did you… K-Kiss with that girl?!" Braveblitz gasped. "I can't believe thisssss! You're a womanizer?!"
"W-Wha…?! That's not the case! Erika is my girlfriend…" I facepalmed. "Ah he's… he's a robot. Well, technically you would call them golems here."
"A golem robot?" Erika tilted her head. "He's huge and looks strong though! Is he your new familiar?"
"Yes, part of the rewards of the trial," I nodded. "He's a friend I actually made inside the trial itself, which was as if I lived in another world for a week."
"Really?! I didn't know trials could be like that…" Erika said. "So what's your name? You can even talk and everything, huh?"
"Name? I am Braveblitz, bravest and strongest hero of justice!" Braveblitz said. "Ah! And this is my mother, Aurora, and my little sister, Nova!"
He presented Aurora and Nova rather smoothly too, the two girls nodded, greeting Erika.
"Nice to meet you, Erika," Aurora said. "I've heard about you a little bit from Blake. You're even cuter than I imagined."
"Hiiiii!" Nova flew around Erika; she was a cute fairy so Erika was instantly fascinated.
"Wooow! You obtained so many new familiars, Blake! This is awesome!" She said. "I want to know more about them as soon as possible!"
"More about them?" I laughed. "Well, we can talk more while we have dinner, it's getting pretty late, huh?"
"A-Ah right, everyone's coming right-"
BAAAM!
The doors opened abruptly as the rest of my friends came rushing here.
"Blake! You came back so quickly! Did something happen? Don't tell you failed the trial…!"
Elizabeth ran to my side instantly, her dazzling golden locks, her bright eyes, her holy and gentle demeanor, and her beautiful white dress made her stand out instantly.
"I didn't fail the trial, if anything I passed it with flying colors," I smiled. "Hello Elizabeth! I also missed you."
I hugged her alongside Erika, her head ended rubbing on my face, as I felt the scent of her floral shampoo in her silky blonde hair, I felt relaxed instantly.
"B-Blake! So bold out of nowhere…!" She was surprised, blushing. "Ah…!"
Before she could respond, I stole a kiss from her lips.
"M-My… Doing it in front of everyone…" She muttered. "Huh? W-Who are they?"
She pointed at Braveblitz, Aurora, and Nova.
"They're Blake's new Familiars! They're friends he made in the Trial which followed him here!" Erika did an excellent job of explaining who they were.
"F-Friends you made in the trial?! I didn't know that was even a thing at all!" She was surprised.
"Well it is," I nodded. "They're Braveblitz, Aurora, and Nova. We can talk more about them inside- Ah."
