Chapter 1375: A Hard Trial You Must Overcome
-----
"We'll demolish this and then you'll owe me segs!"
"EH?!" Everyone looked at Erika with surprised eyes.
"W-What?" Erika was caught off-guard by their glares. "D-Did I said that? Oops…"
"B-Blake! What's the meaning of this promise?!" Elizabeth asked. "Y-You didn't promise me that!"
"Hah… We can negotiate what you can get… once we're done, alright? Don't worry." Blake sighed; he had indeed promised many things to Erika so she would be well motivated. "Alright everyone, concentrate! Phase 3, Challenge 1 is beginning."
RUMBLE!
The entire ground trembled, as gigantic stomping sounds echoed everywhere, hundreds- no, thousands of gigantic figures emerged one after another.
"ROOAARRR!"
Mutant Dinosaurs, from the Amazonian Jungles of Brazil, the same place Blake had visited before in the trial, where the strongest mutants lived, aside from the ones at the sea.
There were T-rexes, Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, Pterodactyls, and more reptiles, such as giant crocodiles, alligators, iguanas, and other monstrous scaled abominations.
While the previous mutants were all A Rank, these were much stronger, way above A Rank, most likely in the Realm of A+ Rank!
And the mission that appeared in front of everyone was…
[The Third Trial of the {Half Year Infernal Purgatory Training} has Begun!]
[You have entered the First Stage Out Of Ten: Fight the Horde of 300 Million Mutants!]
[Rewards]: [Growth-type Items Fitting For Everyone] [Next Stage Generation] [Healing Items]
"T-Three hundred million now?!"
It was an utterly ridiculous request once more!
Three hundred million monsters… Just how many of them could even fit in this place to begin with?
Well, the thing is, as a virtual world, Aurora could just generate them as more of them died.
"Yeah, it will be easy for you after your recent growth, so get to it."
Blake watched, as everyone desperately started fighting for their lives… again.
Although not as horribly as before.
Indeed.
As they fought, they realized they were…
Too strong!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
As everyone attacked, countless explosions spread everywhere, hundreds of dinosaur mutants died one after another within seconds.
Yes, hundreds!
"T-This power…?! Are we that tough now?!"
Erika couldn't believe it.
"Right, we've grown so much stronger now…!"
Erdrich smiled, gripping his fists.
"Hmph, I suppose this is time for revenge against these damned monsters…!"
Elfriedden smiled cockily.
"We can do this…! Eric! I'm counting on you!"
Alberta looked at Eric, her powers manifesting.
"Of course!"
Eric nodded, without letting go of her hand.
"Ugh, look at you two…!"
Chris paid more attention to them than the monsters around him at that moment.
"Keep your eyes at the monsters, Chris!"
Elizabeth rapidly spread several barriers to block the flood of hundreds of monsters as they got closer.
"We've certainly grown stronger, but don't let that get inside your head! We're learning and training, push yourselves to your limits!"
As Elicabeth raised the moral, Blake nodded while he continued expanding his Aura towards them.
Once this trial ended, he would retrieve his aura back to him and see how truly strong they had become.
And if they managed to assimilate its powers into themselves and develop Divinities.
But even now, he could tell.
"Heh…"
Sparks of light were shining within every single one of their souls.
"Honestly, they already had completed the goal of this training, haven't they?" Eleanora asked Blake, as she floated by his side. "Their rate of growth is incredibly astonishing…"
"I know, they could walk out of this and be satisfied with that… But I've changed my mind, if they have such great talent, then I'll give them a hellish training fitting to make even the most talented suffer and grow," Blake said. "It might be ruthless, but this is how I do it, even with all of you back then…"
Blake looked at his vampires behind him.
There were two new ones that were summoned recently as well.
A young girl that resembled his age in appearance, with long black hair and red eyes, and a small black horn on her forehead.
This girl wore a black and red high school uniform and had tattoos around her arms that made it look like she was stained with blood.
And then, a handsome man with a very tall and slender frame, long silvery-white hair, and sharp crimson eyes, with a third blue eye on his forehead. He also had a pair of black, goat-like horns at each side of his forehead, a long pointy tail, and tiny black bat wings.
He wore a black and red butler suit, decorated with golden buttons, alongside a white shirt beneath, with black moccasins, looking both regal and of high class.
"Hiromi, Everstein, welcome back."
Blake smiled, his aura overwhelming with a power even higher than his previous life!
"Master… It has been eons since our deaths… And now that we're back, it seems you've only become stronger…! Aaah! I am moved! My lord, my god, my master!"
Everstein serious expression changed into complete and utter fanatism, lowering his head to Blake, he was fascinated by his vampiric power and authority, even with a new body.
"Rise your head, Everstein, there's no need to lower it like that," Blake sighed. "I am glad to see one of my closest and most loyal aides back to my side. I've missed you."
"T-To say such a thing…! I-I don't deserve such words, my great, magnanimous lord!" Everstein was moved to almost tears.
"…" Meanwhile, the silent Hiromi only glanced at him with a weirded-out expression.
"Hiromi, you're as silent as ever, I hope you can get used to this new world," Blake said.
"…Y-Yes, my lord…" She muttered silently.
"You're as adorable as I remember you, Hiromi!" Eleanora patted her head, as Hiromi shyly blushed. "I never thought I would see you again though, as you were among the last vampires we recruited…"
"H-Hm… I'm… h-happy to see you as well… E-Eleanora…" Hiromi muttered; she had difficulties speaking.
"Come on Hiromi, what's with that voice? raise it higher! Nobody can hear you!" Everstein scolded her angrily.
"A-Ah…" Hiromi's eyes began spinning, as she felt pressured.
"Hey Everstein! Don't bully her, you know she's much younger than all of us!" Eleanora said, slapping her tail at a nearby tree.
