The laughter of a Galactic Calamity echoed through the azure-colored cityscape of Azurite Grove, the City of Poetry. Once the beautiful hope of poets, philosophers, and even a prestigious magic academy, this old elven city had now been shaped by war and bloodshed and inhabited by monstrosities.
The Xenoid Queen laughed as her gigantic body constantly twisted and warped, monstrous Xenoids constantly emerging from her flesh, blood, and bones, tearing open her skin to escape and begin the massacre.
The Lizardmen charging forward could simply not understand what these things were, no matter how much they hit them, they barely were harmed, unable to comprehend that their true bodies were hidden within layers of Placentoid, which they molded into their external fleshy bodies that endlessly regenerate.
"W-What are these things…?!"
"Ugly things…! Don't die?!"
"Graaaccckkk! Parasites! Parasitessss…!"
"I can't- AAAAACCK!"
The lizardmen started screaming in agony, as hundreds of them started being parasitized by young Xenoids created by the Xenoid Queen, gaining fleshy tentacles and eyes across their bodies, turning against their own brethren.
Their magically enhanced spears and scale armor ended working against themselves, as the infected lizardmen started massacring their fellow brothers and sisters, even though the giant Draconic Beasts were not freed from this.
At the same time, the Xenoid Queen, of over thirty meters of height, the largest height she could achieve right now, smiled with her giant jaws showing her sharp teeth, moving her tentacles as she devoured dozens of lizardmen with each bite, which were brought to her by her children or even the rest of Blake's familiars.
He knew that she could grow stronger by devouring these lizardmen and could produce stronger Ascended Xenoid by consuming a lot of biomatter too, so it was a priority to feed her as much as possible.
The destruction she caused was immense, single-handedly beginning to overwhelm half of the enemy army with her endlessly spawning children, their resilience, and their parasitic abilities.
"Yes, yes, come at me! Hurry! More…! I need more of your flesh and blood, all of your genes! I can feel it! Another powerful child… I can make it!"
As she laughed, a gigantic shadow loomed above her, interrupting her laughter.
Her eyes fixated into the monster that showed up, his draconic appearance shocking her due to the power he exuded.
With dark green scales, wings instead of arms, and a huge bird-like head with sharp fangs and feathers, alongside a windy aura around him…
This was not a mere lizardman, nor a draconic beast.
"You're the pest daring to disrupt my peaceful kingdom?!"
"Ahh! What a wonderful specimen! I need to devour you too, hahahahaha!"
The Xenoid Queen laughed, as she ordered her children to attack the being, flying towards him.
"DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH!"
The monster roared, unleashing a storm of slicing winds, cutting through the Xenoids and tearing them to shreds by the dozens!
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
"So strong…! Another wonderful new specimen from this world…! Despite my current situation, I cannot help but rejoice at seeing such a delectable meal I had never eaten before…! I suppose you're worthy enough to face my powerful son."
"Son? What are you talking about?! As Zephyx, the Dragon General Of Storming Winds, I'll slice you up with my blade-like wings! DIE!"
As the Xenoid Queen laughed, Zephyx rushed down, aiming for her life! His giant wings grew harder, their feathers becoming blade-like, as he swung them in midair against her, about to slice her into pieces.
And yet…
CLAAASH! CLAAASH!
Something else blocked the incoming attacks, as a giant being emerged from seemingly nowhere, but the body of his mother, "stored" inside of her until he was needed.
"…Mother calls. I respond."
While talking like someone that was still developing his mind, personality, and ego, the giant made of fleshy tendrils, shaped as a giant reptilian being covered by red and black scales glared at Zephyx.
"W-What is this…?!"
Zephyx's eyes widened, as the giant matching his size of fifty meters began moving through the skies, flapping his massive fleshy wings.
"Rejoice, delicious new specimen! You've been given the privilege of facing against my strongest son in this world, my first ever Ascended Xenoid!"
"GRAAAAHHHH!"
The Ascended Xenoid, resembling a humanoid dragon with fleshy membrane wings, with most, but not all parts of his body covered by draconic scales of red and black, roared furiously.
RUMBLE!
His aura erupted with Draconic Energy, as the Ascended Xenoid's giant claws tore through Zephy's wings, tearing one of them apart!
CRAAASH!
"AAAAAGGGGHHHH!"
Zephyx screamed in agony, realizing this monster wasn't weak at all, despite his bizarre appearance, this monster was stronger than him, at least physically.
"G-GET AWAY FROM ME!"
While escaping, his wing was torn apart by the Ascended Xenoid's immense strength, while he unleashed a powerful storm of spiraling winds.
"DIEEEE!"
FLUOOOSH!
The winds rushed down towards the Xenoid Queen, as her Ascended Xenoid child stepped forward, his right arm suddenly growing larger, more muscular, loading all of its kinetic force and mana into its muscle fibers.
The skin cracked open, revealing glowing veins of blue and gold color, flames constantly spreading through its arm…
"He's not completely perfect, but he fits the Ascended Xenoid Criteria fine enough… His name is Drakon, my beloved child. Show him the power of the Xenoids."
"Yes, mother."
Drakon swung his fists upwards, clashing against the immensely powerful tornado rushing down…
And…
TRUUUMMM!!!
His punch alone, carrying immense kinetic force, unleashed such a gigantic shockwave that the winds, capable of devastating an entire city, were completely dissipated.
The force quickly reached Zephyx, damaging him severely as he lost balance, falling from the skies.
"G-GAAAGGH…! W-What…! What sort of power is this…?!"
As Zephyx fell from the skies, while bleeding from his eyes and jaws, Drakon jumped into the skies, his wings growing three times as big to fly faster, reaching him.
"Kill you, offer to mother. Feed her."
"W-WAIT…!"
Before he could say another word, Zephyx saw Drakon's fists punching his entire body constantly, leaving several holes through it.
BAAAM! BAAAM! BAAAM! BAAAM!
"GRYYAAAEEGGH…!"
As Zephyx agonized, Drakon kicked him down, finishing him off with a powerful blow, crushing his skull onto the ground.
BOOOMMM!!!
A huge explosion of flames erupted as he fell into the ground, creating a large crater in the middle of the elven city.
"You idiot! I told you I wanted to eat it! You almost completely destroyed it! What would be there left for me to eat?! I wanted the brains too, but you crushed them!"
The Xenoid Queen flew to Drakon's side, reprimanding him angrily, as she started eating whatever remained of Zephyx.
"Aaah… Sorry, mother…"
Drakon groaned, making a sad face while lowering his head.
"Tch! Your next sibling better be smarter!"
As the Xenoid Queen groaned angrily, Elfriedden and Erdrich glanced into the distance over piles of burned and frozen corpses, hundreds of lizardmen and draconic beasts slain.
"That disgusting thing sure is efficient at creating soldiers… That's for sure," Erdrich muttered.
"Concentrate in what's in front of us, Erdrich," Elfriedden said. "They're here… Let's test how strong we are."
Facing the two were a pair of Dragon Generals…
