Chapter 161: Zoro Versus Vice Admiral Onigumo Part 2
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Zoro and Onigumo clashed their swords while destroying the ground beneath them with their attacks.
The tiles and concrete began to crumble from their sword attacks as they continued to clash.
"Enough is enough! I am ending this battle right now."
Onigumo roared and gathered his Armament Haki into his swords. His body began to transform into a spider as he shot several webs from his mouth.
Zoro quickly moved his swords and slashed through those webs but found them quite hard to tear apart.
"Idiots! Those webs are coated with Haki. You can't break them so easily."
Onigumo roared in his animal form.
Zoro didn't care, though. He just continued concentrating his Armament Haki on the edge of his swords and sliced them.
"I have been thinking about this for a while. If Mihawk is the World's Strongest Swordsman, is he stronger than a Yonko?"
"But my vice-captain told me that the Red Haired Shank is the one with the strongest Haki among all Yonko. So, this made me confused. Is it Haki that makes Shanks stronger, or is it a title that makes Mihawk stronger?"
"After fighting with you, I slowly came to an understanding. It's not Haki that makes a swordsman great. It's their understanding of swordsmanship that makes a swordsman great."
"All this time, I was either focused on strength or Haki but never truly understood the Meaning of Swordsmanship. Thanks for the battle, but now, I finally understand."
"What the fuck are you mumbling about? There is no way you can do anything now. Die!"
Onigumo roared and shot several webs from his mouth. Each move was made to strangle him while he prepared his swords for an attack.
Zoro simply raised his right hand, and the Armament Haki emerged on the edge of his sword.
He closed his eyes for a moment as he began to sense his surroundings. It wasn't Observation Haki.
It was Breath of All Things. It was the answer to his swordsmanship. It was a path that he must take as a swordsman.
Suddenly, he opened his eyes and saw something that only a swordsman can see. It was the path towards a higher level of swordsmanship.
His right hand moved, and his armament-coated sword managed to slice those webs into thin pieces. Those pieces fell to the ground as Zoro slowly pulled his hand down.
"A swordsman is someone who doesn't need overwhelming physical strength or Haki. A swordsman is someone who knows his strength and knows how to use it with his sword."
"But even so, I must advance my Haki today."
Step! Step! Step!
With his swords, he dashed toward Onigumo. Seeing him, Onigumo quickly moved his extra limbs and tried to slash him with his swords.
But Zoro simply saw it coming and blocked it with his swords. Not only blocked it, but he also managed to push it away, giving him time to block the other swords.
Previously, he wasn't able to do such a thing. Right now, he could easily see them coming with his Breath of All Things.
It was something that he had missed for years, but after he realized it, he began to focus so much on Haki that he completely forgot it.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
'How is this possible? How can he suddenly get so much faster?' Onigumo roared in his mind. He was completely shocked by the speed with which Zoro moved his sword.
As their swords began to collide more and more, he realized that he was getting outmatched by Zoro.
This was unacceptable for someone like him. He poured even greater strength into his limbs and continued to slash like a madman.
But no matter how unpredictable he tried to be, Zoro was able to see it coming.
....
Hawkeye wasn't interested in Luffy's battle, nor was he interested in Liam's battle. His interest was solely in Zoro.
When the battle started, he realized that Zoro was missing something very important to a swordsman. At first, he was disappointed and wanted to leave.
But he reminded himself about his battle with Zoro and decided to wait. As he waited, he got what he needed the most.
Zoro finally realized his strength as a swordsman. When he saw Zoro using his Breath of All Things to sense the weakness in Onigumo's attacks, he realized that Zoro had finally grown as a swordsman.
On the side of the marines,
The faces of the marines weren't good. One by one, the Marines were losing their battle against the Straw Hats. And, now only Vice Admirals and Admirals remained.
While they were keeping their hope on the admirals, they didn't want vice admirals to lose as well.
"Vice Admiral, Onigumo is going to lose this battle." A beautiful female standing next to the Fleet Admiral with the sword on her waist spoke with disappointment in her eyes.
"He focused too much on his devil fruit and forgot that he was a swordsman first." A man with a cigarette in his mouth spoke while shaking his head.
"But, Vice Admiral, the fight hasn't even started to end. How can you doubt your colleague, Vice Admiral Gion, Vice Admiral Tokikake?" A Rear Admiral asked.
"Didn't you hear what that Pirate Hunter said during the battle? Why was Mihawk the world's greatest swordsman while Red Haired Shanks wins in the Haki battle?"
"Both of them were swordsmen as well. It's not about physical strength or Haki. It is about using his strength as a swordsman. That young man has found a way to use Breath of All Things."
"Unless Vice Admiral Onigumo has something else up his sleeve, he can't win this battle." Vice Admiral Gion spoke with a cold tone.
"Enough, Gion! We are not here to praise a pirate." Sengoku scolded her while putting his arms in front of his chest.
"None of this matters, though. Straw Hat and his vice-captain can't defeat Admiral Kizaru and Admiral Aokiji. I just hope we won't lose our Vice Admirals and Rear Admirals." Vice Admiral Tokikake spoke.
"Do you think it is so simple?" Tsuru asked, bringing silence to the room.
"What do you mean, Sister Tsuru?" Gion asked with a confused expression.
"Tsuru doesn't believe that Straw Hats would be foolish enough to pick a fight with admirals without finding a way to win. While Garp's grandson is indeed foolish, I can't say the same for his vice-captain."
"According to Kuzan, he managed to shake his heart with his words alone. And doesn't it seem suspicious that we can hear every word that other Straw Hat Pirates speak, but we can't hear a word from Aokiji and Liam?"
Sengoku spoke.
Suddenly, those present in the room realized it as well.
"Now that you mention it, they seem to be moving their mouth quite a lot during the battle, but I can't hear a word." Gion spoke with a realization hitting her head.
"That's exactly why we can't let our guard down. They have a plan. It's just that we don't know what that plan is. That's why I sent Aramaki, just in case anything disturbing happens."
"But for now, let's just believe that our Admirals can overcome any situation without any problem."
Sengoku said while looking at the battle between Zoro and Onigumo.
.....
Zoro continued to clash against Onigumo for a while until he suddenly closed his eyes for a moment. Two of his swords were shoved inside their sheaths while one was in his mouth.
Onigumo didn't understand why Zoro put those swords inside his sheaths, but he didn't want to waste this perfect opportunity.
He simply continued to charge at Zoro, but six sharp slashes came out of his swords. It came out at blinding speed while releasing a sharp blue light.

[Crossroad of Six Paths]
Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!
His slashes were so fast and precise that they managed to push Onigumo away.
Splash!
One of the slashes landed on his chest. The blood gushed out, making Onigumo a little pale. But he gritted his teeth and decided to charge forward with his eight swords.
"I am not going to be defeated at the hands of a pirate."
Zoro pulled out his swords and coated them with Armament Haki. This time, his haki was flowing out. His Breath of All Things was delicately balancing his Haki as he took a stance.
"Nine mountains and eight seas make one world! One thousand worlds make one chiliocosm! One chiliocosm to the power of three, and there is nothing I can't cut."
It was like a mantra, but when he moved forward, his swords began to spin at a great speed, releasing several purple auras.
[Three Swords Style Secret Skill]
Whoosh!
Zoro moved toward Onigumo at a blinding speed and reached behind him as his swords slashed all of Onigumo's swords and his chest.
[Great Three Thousand Great Thousand Worlds]
Crack! Splash! Thud!
Onigumo's swords exploded into pieces, and a large wound appeared on his chest. The blood gushed out as he fell over his blood.
Whoosh!
Zoro moved his swords and put them inside the sheaths. He removed his bandana and put it on his arm.
"I told you before. I will destroy your swords."
