------------
Sakazuki did not choose to attack Larson; instead, he moved aside to rescue Porusalino. Sengoku was responsible for the feint attack to draw Larson's attention, while Sakazuki handled the rescue. This was their strategy.
However, how could Larson fulfill their wishes? Sengoku only saw a flash of golden light in front of his eyes, and suddenly, Larson, who had been standing before him, vanished.
On the other side, as Sakazuki had just arrived in front of Porusalino, he suddenly felt a cold chill behind him. The golden light flashed again, and Larson's figure appeared behind him. "What do you want to do?" he asked leisurely.
At that moment, the hairs on Sakazuki's body stood on end. It then dawned on him what Tsuru had mentioned earlier: Larson had the ability to copy the powers of other Devil Fruit users!
Years of accumulated combat experience allowed him to make a judgment quickly. Ignoring Porusalino, he turned around and launched a punch, his fist wrapped in magma.
But Larson was faster. With his Sharingan, he could see every tiny movement Sakazuki made. As Sakazuki attempted to pivot and counterattack, Larson anticipated his next move.
Larson kicked out at Sakazuki's head like a monkey kicking a supernova.
Sakazuki's elementalization was ineffective when covered with Armament Haki, and he was knocked away by Larson's kick.
From the time Larson used his Shining Fruit to kick Sakazuki to the time he landed, it hadn't even taken two seconds.
On the ice, Larson continued his assault, looking at Porusalino, who lay sprawled on the ice, with a smile. "Have you ever been kicked by light?"
Porusalino felt a shock. This was something he often said to tease pirates when he was chasing them. However, now that the tables had turned, he didn't feel anger or humiliation — only panic. At that moment, he lost the courage to resist.
Before today, Porusalino never imagined that he would face such a situation. His most prized fruit and his powerful talent felt severely diminished by Larson.
He seemed to feel the despair and powerlessness that the pirates had felt when faced with him before. A wave of despair washed over his body and mind.
The man in front of him seemed invincible, spinning around him. Usually, when he faced a powerful enemy, even if he was defeated, he could use the speed provided by his fruit to escape easily.
But he had never confronted such desperation as he felt today.
All he could see were the golden lights gathering on Larson's toes. This was the same attack he usually used against pirates, but now it was aimed at him.
The golden light grew more intense, magnifying the despair in his eyes.
"Porusalino, what's the matter with you?!"
At that critical moment, Sengoku suddenly descended from the sky, forcing Larson, who was gathering strength, to divert his attention and evade Sengoku's attack.
Sengoku stood protectively in front of Porusalino, quickly surveying the situation. "Get a grip! You're facing one of the strongest pirates in this sea. Do you want to die?"
Sakazuki approached, his expression dark and angry, but he wasn't at fault. Anyone who had been kicked in the head could hardly look good after all.
"Can you still fight?" he asked, extending a hand toward Porusalino.
Without saying a word, Porusalino grabbed Sakazuki's hand.
Sakazuki smiled slightly and pulled him up forcefully.
Sengoku, not glancing back, instructed, "Porusalino, if you can't use your Devil Fruit power, don't join the fight for now. Sakazuki and I will handle him."
Porusalino nodded, his expression pained. Though he was extremely reluctant, he knew he couldn't help without his abilities.
He glanced toward General Zephyr, who was battling Whitebeard in the distance, and felt a deep discomfort.
In addition to being an admiral in the Navy, Zephyr was also responsible for training new recruits. Zephyr had advised him to exercise more, but he hadn't taken those words seriously. Now, he started to regret it and understood the importance of physical preparation.
"Okay, the warm-up is over," Larson said with an amused smile as he looked at the people in front of him.
When Sengoku and Sakazuki saw the grin on Larson's face, their hearts sank instinctively.
Larson addressed Sengoku, "This time, I will fight you with my own abilities."
Susanoo!
Golden bones materialized around Larson's body, forming a massive skeleton enveloped in golden flames that added layers of armor.
Sengoku, who was maintaining a serious demeanor, frowned. "Be careful. Garp said this thing is very tough."
"I know," Sakazuki responded, bracing himself.
The next moment, both Sakazuki and Sengoku moved to attack Larson.
Seeing this, Larson frowned slightly. Were they truly so unafraid of having their abilities neutralized by his Sharingan?
It was evident that their powers could fail at any moment, yet they dared to take such risks by launching an attack now. He didn't know whether to consider them courageous or reckless.
Or maybe they already knew the conditions for activating his Sharingan?
No, they certainly didn't. The abilities he had deprived had not been activated in their presence a few times. Even if Tsuru had been there, she might find a flaw in his Sharingan, but only after some time.
Then why did they dare to attack now?
Larson didn't dwell on it for long, as Sengoku and Sakazuki's attacks were already upon him.
It was the same shockwave as before, but judging by the energy being released, Sengoku was not just testing him; he was genuinely launching an assault.
Sakazuki's attack followed suit. Even though he was not yet the future Admiral Akainu and his strength was far from that level, the Magma-Magma Fruit was one of the most offensive Devil Fruits, allowing for impressive abilities without any conditions. The upper limit of the fruit was there, making both him and Porusalino stand at the top of the world thanks to their powers.
Hot magma and shock waves collided with Susanoo, but it sustained no damage.
While Garp's punch could crack Susanoo's body, their combined attacks left no mark.
In fact, in terms of single-impact damage, Garp's punches surpassed the combined strength of Sengoku and Sakazuki. This was because their attacks were extensive and destructive, while Garp's strikes were singular and direct.
