She could only turn to Aiden and say, "If you still want to look, wait until after breakfast. Once you've eaten, you'll have more energy."

Aiden coughed lightly and shook his head. "Next time."

Hearing this, a faint trace of disappointment flashed in White's eyes. But considering her earlier actions, she figured she had already done enough for now and said, "Commander, please come with me. I'll take you to the examination room."

As she spoke, she naturally looped her arm through Aiden's, pressing it lightly against her chest in the process.

Feeling the soft sensation against his arm, Aiden took a deep breath. He had already been worked up by White's earlier actions, and now, with this contact, he couldn't help but wonder if she was deliberately teasing him.

"True, they don't," White admitted. "But this is a comprehensive examination, so it's not just routine tests like bloodwork. We'll be checking every part of your body, including your... reproductive capabilities. And for that, these machines won't be enough."

Aiden was taken aback. Why did they need to check his reproductive capabilities? And why wouldn't the machines work for that? Could it be...?

He hadn't forgotten his promise to Yakor about returning quickly, but at this point, it was already far too late.

"I'll go back with you," White said, moving to his side and linking her arm with his again.

"Isn't there a lot you need to do right now?" Aiden asked.

White had a mountain of tasks ahead of her, reorganizing the command center, setting up new android production facilities, all of which required her supervision.

"No matter how busy I am, being with you takes priority. Accompanying you is the most important thing to me right now," White said, gazing at him.

Then she added, "Besides, I'm not actually that busy right now. My subordinates can handle things just fine without me watching over them. Androids are trustworthy."

"Alright then," Aiden said after a moment's thought, nodding.

With White accompanying him, Aiden returned to the apartment.
