Chapter 827: Feng Xuan Gets Ridiculed By His Wife
Feng Xuan, his mind a whirlwind of unsettling revelations, arrived at the Blazing Rock Star. He was determined to speak with his father-in-law and, most importantly, with Xinqiao. He needed to warn them about Wang Jian, the wolf in sheep's clothing.
He approached the Wufang Clan's grand palace, expecting the usual warm welcome. But as he neared the entrance, he was met with an invisible wall. A powerful barrier shimmered into existence, blocking his path.
Feng Xuan frowned. He had never encountered such a formidable barrier around the Wufang Clan's property before. 'What in the cosmos is this?' he thought, a sense of unease creeping in. 'Did they suddenly decide to become hermits?'
He tried to push through the barrier, but it held firm, resisting his considerable strength. He channeled his spiritual energy, attempting to force his way through, but the barrier remained unyielding.
The Wufang Clan's guards, stationed near the entrance, watched him struggle with a strange mix of amusement and indifference. They didn't seem surprised at all by his inability to pass through the barrier. It was as if they had expected this.
'This is getting weirder and weirder,' Feng Xuan thought, his unease growing. 'They're acting like this is perfectly normal. As if I'm supposed to be locked out.'
Suddenly, a figure appeared on the balcony of the palace. It was Xinqiao. Her expression was cold, her eyes fixed on him with a chilling detachment.
"What do you want, Xuan?" she asked, her voice devoid of any warmth.
Feng Xuan's heart sank. He had never seen her look at him with such coldness before. 'Something's definitely wrong,' he thought, his worry intensifying.
"Xinqiao," he called out, his voice filled with urgency. "I need to talk to you. It's about Wang Jian."
At the mention of Wang Jian's name, Xinqiao's eyes turned even colder. "Do not disrespect Honored Guest Wang Jian," she said, her voice sharp. "He is a guest of our Wufang Clan. Show some respect."
Feng Xuan was taken aback by her harsh words. He couldn't understand her sudden change in attitude. 'What's gotten into her?' he wondered, his confusion growing.
But he quickly realized that she was likely unaware of Wang Jian's true nature. She didn't know that he was the leader of the Heavenly Jade Pavilion, the man who had disrupted the balance of the four cosmoses.
"Xinqiao, you don't understand," Feng Xuan said, his voice pleading. "He's not who you think he is. He's…"
"He is a generous and honorable guest," Xinqiao interrupted, her voice laced with disdain. "Unlike some people I know."
Feng Xuan gritted his teeth, trying to control his rising anger. He understood that she was blinded by Wang Jian's charm and generosity. He needed to show her the truth.
"Xinqiao, please listen to me," he said, his voice strained. "He's not just a collector. He's the leader of the Heavenly Jade Pavilion. He's the one who gave the Crimson Dawn to your father. He's the one who's causing all this chaos."
Xinqiao simply glared at him, her expression filled with disbelief. "You're just jealous," she accused, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "You're making up stories because you're envious of the generous gift he gave to our clan. A gift that could very well elevate our Wufang clan above your Radiant Sun Sect."
Feng Xuan's heart sank. He could see the disappointment in her eyes, the complete lack of trust. She truly believed that he was simply jealous.
'She actually thinks I'm making this up?' he thought, his mind reeling. 'She really believes that I'm just jealous of his gift? This is insane!'
Xinqiao turned away from him, her back to him. "I'm disappointed in you, Xuan," she said, her voice cold and dismissive. "I thought you were better than this."
She then glanced back at him, her eyes filled with disdain. "You can't even break through a simple barrier," she said, her voice laced with contempt. "And you claim to be a powerful cultivator?"
Feng Xuan felt a surge of anger at her words, but he also felt a pang of confusion. He had used a significant amount of his power trying to break through the barrier, yet it hadn't budged. It was as if it was designed to specifically keep him out.
He looked at the barrier again, studying its intricate patterns. He could sense the immense power contained within it, a power that was far beyond anything he had encountered before.
'Where did they even get this barrier?' he wondered, his mind racing. 'It's far too powerful for anything the Wufang Clan could create on their own.'
Then, a chilling realization dawned on him. 'It must be him,' he thought, his blood running cold. 'Wang Jian. He's the one who gave them this barrier. He's the one who's keeping me out.'
He looked up at Xinqiao, his eyes filled with a mixture of fear and desperation. He needed to make her understand the danger she was in.
"Xinqiao," he called out, his voice strained. "Please, you have to listen to me. This is not about jealousy. This is about your safety. Wang Jian is not who he seems. He's…"
But Xinqiao simply turned away, disappearing back into the palace, leaving Feng Xuan standing outside the impenetrable barrier, alone with his growing fear and frustration. He knew that something terrible had happened, and he was determined to uncover the truth, no matter the cost. 'I have to find a way to get through,' he thought, his gaze fixed on the shimmering barrier. 'I have to protect Xinqiao, even if she doesn't want me to.'

After trying all his artifacts and his power, Feng Xuan stared at the shimmering barrier, his brow furrowed in concentration. He had tried everything he could think of to break through it, but it remained stubbornly unyielding.
He realized with a growing sense of frustration that destroying the barrier would likely cause significant damage to the Wufang Palace, perhaps even to the entire Blazing Rock Star.
'I can't do that,' he thought, his jaw tightening. 'I can't risk hurting Xinqiao or her clan.' He sighed, accepting the inevitable. He wouldn't be able to confront Wang Jian directly, not here.
With a heavy heart, Feng Xuan turned and left the Blazing Rock Star, returning to his own territory, the Radiant Sun Sect. He needed to find another way to reach Wang Jian, to expose his true nature.
Back at the Radiant Sun Sect, Feng Xuan summoned all the disciples and elders to the main assembly hall. He stood before them, his expression grim, holding up the portrait of Wang Jian.
"This man," he announced, his voice echoing through the hall, "is a dangerous individual. He has deceived the Wufang Clan, and he poses a threat to the entire Eastern Cosmos."
He then detailed the information he had received from Gorthan, revealing Wang Jian's identity as the leader of the Heavenly Jade Pavilion. The hall erupted in whispers and murmurs.
"I want this man found," Feng Xuan continued, his voice firm and resolute. "I want every single one of you to search for him, across the entire Crimson Flame Belt, across the entire Eastern Cosmos."
He then sweetened the deal, offering enticing rewards for anyone who could provide information leading to Wang Jian's capture. "Great rewards await those who find him," he promised. "Rare pellets, powerful weapons, and increased status within the sect. I will personally ensure it."
The disciples and elders were instantly roused by the promise of such generous rewards. They were eager to prove their worth, to gain favor with their leader.
"We will not rest until he is found!" one of the elders shouted, his voice filled with determination.
"We will scour every corner of the Eastern Cosmos!" another disciple exclaimed, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
The assembly quickly dispersed, the disciples and elders spreading out across the Crimson Flame Belt, and beyond, embarking on a massive manhunt for Wang Jian. News of the search quickly spread, reaching even the most remote corners of the Eastern Cosmos.
Unbeknownst to Feng Xuan and his zealous followers, Wang Jian was not hiding in some remote corner of the cosmos. He was, in fact, relaxing in a rather… comfortable location. He was currently residing in Feng Xuan's own mansion, the very mansion he shared with his wives, specifically in Yujia's private chambers.
At this very moment, Wang Jian was sprawled across Yujia's bed, his body naked, his expression relaxed and content. Yujia, also naked, was kneeling beside him, diligently massaging his shoulders and back.
'This is much better than running around the cosmos,' Wang Jian thought with a smirk. 'Let Feng Xuan waste his time searching for me. I'm quite comfortable right here.'
Yujia leaned in, whispering in his ear, "Master, are you not worried that Lord Feng Xuan will find you here?"
Wang Jian chuckled softly. "Let him try," he said, his voice dismissive. "He wouldn't dare to intrude on my… private time. Besides, he has no idea I'm here. He's too busy chasing shadows."
He reached out and gently caressed Yujia's cheek. "You've been a great help, my dear," he murmured. "You've truly earned your reward."
Yujia blushed, her eyes filled with adoration. "It's my pleasure, Master," she whispered. "Serving you is my greatest joy."
Meanwhile, across the Eastern Cosmos, Feng Xuan's disciples and elders were diligently searching for Wang Jian. They questioned merchants, travelers, and even hermits, showing them the portrait and asking if they had seen him.
"Have you seen this man?" they would ask, holding up the portrait. "He is a dangerous criminal, and we are searching for him."
Most people simply shook their heads, having never seen Wang Jian before. Some, however, claimed to have seen someone matching his description, but their information was vague and unhelpful.
"I think I saw someone like him in a market a few days ago," one merchant said, scratching his head. "But I can't be sure. He was wearing a hat."
"I heard rumors of a mysterious traveler passing through a nearby village," another traveler claimed. "He was said to be very handsome and charismatic."
The search continued, but Wang Jian remained elusive. He was, quite literally, hiding in plain sight, enjoying the comforts of Feng Xuan's own home, while Feng Xuan's forces scoured the cosmos for him.
'This is like a cosmic game of hide-and-seek,' Wang Jian thought with a chuckle. 'And I'm winning.'
He pulled Yujia closer, kissing her deeply. 'Feng Xuan is so busy searching for me everywhere else that he doesn't even think to check his own home,' he mused. 'What a delightful irony.'
The search for Wang Jian continued, the disciples and elders of the Radiant Sun Sect becoming increasingly frustrated with their lack of progress. They had searched every city, every village, every mountain, and every forest, but there was no sign of him.
"Where could he be?" one elder asked, his voice filled with frustration. "It's like he's vanished into thin air."
"Perhaps he's left the Eastern Cosmos entirely," another disciple suggested. "Maybe he's hiding in another realm."

Feng Xuan, however, refused to give up. He knew that Wang Jian was still somewhere in the Eastern Cosmos. He could feel it in his gut. He just needed to find him.
'I will find you, Wang Jian,' he thought, his eyes burning with determination. 'And when I do, you will pay for what you've done.' He had no idea that the man he sought was enjoying the company of his wives, right under his nose.
