Chapter 771: You Need To Speak Up
Villain Ch 771. You Need To Speak Up
Once Allen and the rest of the group emerged from the village's gate, they found themselves greeted by the tranquil expanse of the forest that stretched out before them. The gentle rustle of leaves and the chirping of birds serve as a soothing backdrop to their journey.
This forest was a haven of tranquility, populated only by low-level monsters that posed little threat to seasoned adventurers like themselves. These creatures were ideal for beginners, ranging from harmless plant-class monsters to playful slime creatures that roamed the forest floor. Most of them were ranging from level one to level nine.
With no aggressive monsters in sight, they were free to explore at their leisure, taking in the natural beauty of their surroundings without fear of attack. They walked along winding paths that meandered through the forest.
The silence between them lingered, broken only by the gentle rustling of leaves and the occasional chirping of birds. Father^Alex cast a cautious glance back at the village gate, ensuring that Sophia was not following them. Satisfied that they were alone, he let out a sigh of relief, his shoulders relaxing as the tension ebbed away.
Red_King caught sight of Father^Alex's actions and couldn't help but scoff at the display. "Why are you making that face when you have done absolutely nothing wrong?" he remarked, his voice laced with a sharp edge of frustration. He had no patience for unnecessary worry, especially when they were already burdened with their own battles against the villains.
Father^Alex bristled slightly at the accusation, his expression defensive. "Don't get me wrong," he replied, his tone earnest. "I just want peace. I mean, peace between the players. Our enemies are the villains, not other players," he explained, his voice tinged with a note of exasperation.
He knew all too well the toll that internal strife could take on their community, and he was determined to prevent any unnecessary conflicts from arising.
Arcana, who had been listening quietly, finally spoke up, his voice sharp with conviction. "I agree, but you have to remember, arguments and differences of opinion between players cannot be avoided," he interjected, his words cutting through the tension like a knife. Despite his agreement with Father^Alex's sentiment, Arcana was not one to mince words when it came to the reality of their situation.
Father^Alex let out a huff, his frustration evident in his tone. "I know," he replied, his voice tinged with exasperation. "Still, I want to minimize arguments with other players. We have an enemy, the devil emperor. The game is designed to make the players unite with each other and work together to destroy the villains. Let's stick that way," he emphasized, his words carrying a note of determination.
Allen, ever observant, glanced over at Father^Alex, his curiosity piqued. "Is that why you didn't say anything on the forum even though Yora kept cornering you?" he questioned, his gaze probing.
Father^Alex met Allen's gaze, his expression guarded. "I already gave my answer on the forum," he defended himself, his tone defensive as he bristled at the implication that he had been avoiding confrontation.
Red_King chimed in with a hint of annoyance. "Yeah, but you did it after I forced you," he interjected, his tone laced with frustration. He remembered all too well the heated exchanges that had taken place on the forum, and he couldn't help but feel irritated by Father^Alex's reluctance to engage.
Father^Alex shot a glance at Red_King, his annoyance palpable in his tone. "But I'm still posting it, right?" he questioned, his voice edged with frustration.
Red_King let out a sigh, his expression reflecting a mixture of disbelief and resignation. "Yeah, it was a miracle," he admitted, his tone tinged with a hint of cringe. "But I don't understand why she came and just stood there like a fool. Does she want to confront us? That's a stupid decision, right?" he pondered aloud, shaking his head in bemusement.

Arcana chimed in with a derisive scoff. "Standing on top of the building and calling out the emperor at yesterday's event was a stupid decision," he remarked, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "And I'm confused why she did it twice. I'm even more confused by Mac who still keeps her in his guild. If I were him, I would have kicked her," he added with a note of annoyance.
Father^Alex let out a long huff. "That's because Yora has a pretty good reputation. You saw for yourself how the mid to low level players defended her," he pointed out, emphasizing the sway that Yora held within the gaming community.
Azura chimed in, her tone thoughtful. "True. She has a good reputation and even almost destroyed Mac's reputation. That's something," she acknowledged, acknowledging Yora's influence within the game. "Also---This time… I'm sure she didn't come because she wanted to confront you. She doesn't have the guts for it," she added, casting a meaningful glance in Allen's direction.
Allen met Azura's gaze, his expression thoughtful. "But she came because she saw Bored Hunter's video," Azura interjected, providing further insight into Yora's sudden appearance.
Bored Hunter's eyes widened with surprise as he processed Azura's words. "You mean my video about the fight between Godlike and the emperor?" he asked, seeking clarification.
Azura nodded in confirmation. "Yes," she replied, her tone carrying a hint of urgency.
Red_King chimed in with a sarcastic remark. "So she came because she saw the emperor and wanted to show off her skills again, huh?" he quipped, his tone dripping with disdain.
Before Azura could respond, Allen interjected, his voice firm and commanding. "No. She came because---," she began, but Azura stopped short as Allen interrupted her.
"They are unrelated to this. You shouldn't say that," he cautioned Azura, his tone gentle yet firm. Allen's words hung in the air, his reminder serving as a caution against what she would say.
Azura wanted to press her lips but no, she decided to speak up.
