Chapter 170 Possible owners
Your journey continues at empire
"Then the other artifacts we have extracted from Zone 8 also harbor a true name within them? Is that what I am understanding so far? Am I mistaken?" Draven's words echoed in the chamber, weaving a halo of intrigue around the mysterious artifact that was the door. Like its previous owner, Draven was imbued with an insatiable curiosity for this enigma.
The mere idea that a simple presence, like that of a young woman such as Cristal, could influence the door intrigued him deeply. However, what caught his attention the most was the discovery that the artifact harbored a true name within it.
For Draven, this discovery marked a turning point in his understanding of true names. Until then, knowledge about them was vague and speculative. But now, with the revelation that a true name was intrinsically linked to an artifact, the perception of these names changed radically.
The possibility that true names were not only abstract entities but also had a tangible manifestation in physical objects would open up a new horizon of possibilities and questioning.
Draven felt driven by a burning desire to unravel the secrets of the door, but he shook his head, realizing that the artifact possibly now belonged to that girl, so he simply shrugged. He knew that taking the door from the girl was unnecessary; she had the same affinity as the door, so it was an investment. Who knows what that girl could achieve with that door, Draven thought to himself.
"My house has two artifacts that are identical to the door, but they don't budge for anything in the world. It's the same as that door," declared Gabriel, rising from his throne with an intriguing smile. He began to walk towards the center of the room, his eyes shining with a spark of excitement as he scrutinized each of those present.
"My house also has an object from Zone 8 that acts similarly to the door!" exclaimed Noah, quickly catching on to the idea Gabriel was hinting at.
Seraphine, understanding the purpose behind Gabriel's words, added, "Mine does too."
Draven, with a knowing smile, affirmed that he also possessed one more artifact like the door: "It's clear. It's evident that the artifacts somehow choose their owners. So instead of letting them gather dust for years, why not?" Do we take them to the imperial academy and organize a search? We could involve all students and even the empire to find their possible owners.
With Cristal's statement, if these artifacts really possess true names inside them and are as extraordinary as the dimensional affinity, it is of great importance to us.
Draven's words resonated in the chamber, generating an atmosphere of anticipation and expectation. A small smile escaped from Gabriel's lips; in the entire empire, there were only five objects taken from Zone 8, which had been stored for years.
They didn't know what they were for as they were always as immobile as ever, but now they knew one possibility: "We all agree then, all the artifacts will be transferred to the imperial academy." his eyes looked at Draven and the ascended, making it clear that the door now belonged to the girl: "I hope the other artifacts manage to find their owners." with a smile, everyone stood up from the room.

Professor Cristal's instruction echoed in the room, and the students hurried to choose their beds within the strange space. As Anthony looked around, he settled for a bed near the door, with Emily and Charlotte following closely behind. Once all the students were inside the capsules, Cristal's fatigued voice filled the air with calmness.
"Don't worry about your bodies in the real world. They will be protected by the empire's soldiers. We, the professors and administrators, will be watching you from the command center. Good luck to all!" were Cristal's final words before her hands touched the door.
In an instant, the door reacted, opening a portal within it that revealed a view completely out of this world. Worlds and clouds of immense proportions stretched around them, while colors intertwined in a dazzling spectacle. Cristal's hands glowed with silver tones, while her eyes and hair radiated flames of the same color. The door expanded even further, enveloping the entire room with its presence.
The colors seemed to flow through the door, filling the space with vibrant energy. The cables connected to the door acted as conduits for this explosion of color, and in an instant, the shades spread to the capsules where the students were.
The air itself changed color, and Anthony felt his consciousness immersed in the infinity of colors surrounding him, transporting him to a place beyond his imagination.
Once all the students successfully connected to the door, Cristal nodded with satisfaction. She knew that to fully activate the door, it was necessary to invoke its true name. Without this unique key, the door would remain inert, unable to respond to any attempt at contact by another person.
With a gesture of resignation, the silver flames surrounding Cristal extinguished, as did the glow in her eyes. The effort of using her powers left her exhausted.
A sigh escaped from Cristal's fatigued lips as she watched the imperial soldiers enter through the door with firm yet silent steps. They bowed respectfully to her, and Cristal nodded in response, acknowledging their loyalty and commitment. The soldiers dispersed around the room, positioning themselves strategically around the students, as still as statues and without emitting the slightest sound.
She took out a crystal and made a call: "Your Majesty, the potential owners of the four artifacts are in their first year. I understand they are in classes ranging from 150 to 200."
Seated on his throne, Gabriel's smile widened with joy. After nearly twenty years of searching and speculation, they had finally managed to identify the potential owners of the artifacts. Throughout that time, the four had been considered commoners, born of humble families. During their mothers' pregnancies, each of them had been the focus of attention of the Empire.
The mothers, humble peasants, were surprised to receive visits from soldiers clad in silver armor, sent to protect them by direct order of the emperor.
When Cristal used the door to find the potential owners of the artifacts, creating a mission that was organized and the artifacts were transported by the Serpent House. They infiltrated the mothers' houses, and the artifacts moved barely perceptibly. However, they felt it.
It was concluded that it was because the bearers were still in their mothers' womb, and from that moment on, they were always under the emperor's watchful eye.
All pregnant women received the same treatment, with their sons and daughters being raised and closely monitored to ensure their safety during infancy. They were the emperor's top priority, who wanted these children to grow up healthy and strong. However, despite all the care and attention, all of them showed limited magical affinity or unremarkable sword skills.
