Villain's Valor: A Noble Fantasy Resurrection

Chapter 185 Three Egyptian gods

The following days passed with a strange cohesion among the six members of the group, who seemed to have united for some inexplicable reason. After breakfast, they would leave the shelter together and venture into the autumnal forest, with Charlotte sticking to Anthony like his shadow.

Despite yesterday's awkward situation, she acted as if nothing had happened, resuming her closeness to him as if it were the most natural thing in the world, a part of Charlotte's personality that Anthony liked.

When they encountered creatures in their path, it was the girls who took the initiative to confront them, insisting on handling the situation on their own. However, it was evident that all were except Charlotte, who never left Anthony's side, staying close to him at all times.

So the days went by, with a peculiar dynamic repeating itself over and over, until on the fourth day, the group stumbled upon something completely unexpected: a titan's shelter, hidden among rock formations in the forest. A small crack in the rock formations suggested a possible entrance, inviting them to explore the unknown hidden within.

As they ventured into the mountain, they discovered a surprising structure: a kind of pyramid. But what was most astonishing was that it wasn't just one, but two pyramids separated by a distance of 20 meters. As they ventured further inside, they found a third pyramid, forming a perfect triangle at the heart of the mountain.

The three pyramids were made of yellow stone and were approximately 30 meters tall.

Upon closer inspection of the inscriptions and words engraved on all sides of the pyramids, the group realized that these structures had a deeper and more ancient significance than they had initially imagined. Anthony and Edward exchanged glances, aware of the growing tension building in the air.

Although nothing had been activated yet, in the center of the pyramids lay a perfect circle, which seemed to be crucial to trigger some kind of event.

"It seems that we need to enter the circle for the titans to come out," Daniela commented, expressing what everyone was thinking. The certainty that this place harbored at least one titan had become undeniable for the group. The situation was becoming increasingly strange, and Anthony noticed it as his eyes roamed over the three pyramids.

"I can sense that there is at least 1 titan in each of them, so..." Anthony began before being interrupted by Edward. "There's a possibility that there are three titans together in this place."

The idea of facing three titans simultaneously was overwhelming, and Anthony frowned at the prospect. Although he knew that both he and Edward could face one relatively alone, he doubted the girls' abilities in such a challenging battle. However, as he looked at Edward, he saw excitement shining in his eyes, and he knew he wasn't alone in his desire to face this challenge.

He nodded determinedly, feeling the excitement and adrenaline coursing through his veins. Despite denying it, Anthony was also excited at the prospect of facing a titan alone.

"If our suspicion is correct, then we will do the following," declared Anthony, assuming leadership in the situation. "Edward and I will face one titan on our own."

Before Charlotte could protest, a single look from Anthony silenced her. With a gesture, he reassured her and continued explaining his plan: "The four of you will face the remaining titan. Since there are more of you, you should be able to kill it faster than us. Of course, we will decide which options are best for each of us. Do you have any questions?"

The girls hesitated at first, evidencing their concern about the distribution of forces, but in the end, they accepted Anthony's proposed plan.

Despite their initial doubts, they trusted their two companions, Charlotte lowered her head sadly, Anthony looked at her and smiled, he crouched slightly: "You must try hard to kill the titan if you want to come and help me" she raised her head quickly and her eyes shone, she clenched her small fist: "You'll see!" he just nodded, she was so adorable.

The six advanced decisively towards the circle, each wielding their weapons in preparation for what was to come. Upon entering the circle, the ground trembled slightly beneath their feet, as if reacting to their presence. From the pyramid in front of them, a squeaky metallic sound echoed as it made contact with the ground, announcing their arrival.

Behind the pyramid emerged an imposing titan, whose appearance was a mix between a man and a falcon's head. Its curved and sharp beak, its piercing eyes, and its majestic gaze inspired both respect and fear. A crown adorned its head, a solar disk radiating rays of light in all directions, giving it a unique aura.

The titan was draped in a long robe, decorated with golden symbols that gleamed brightly. Its body, of a bronzed and muscular tone. In its hands, it held two golden sticks, shining intensely, as long as its own height. Its stature reached five meters, walking until it stopped, outside the circle.

Anthony opened his eyes wide upon recognizing the titan emerging before them. For some reason, this imposing figure seemed very familiar to him. His memories went back to Earth, and after a few minutes of reflection, he remembered: Ra, the Egyptian god of the sun and light. The majestic presence of this titan evoked ancient legends and the greatness of Egyptian mythology.

While Anthony was lost in his thoughts, another slight tremor shook the place. This time, from the pyramid on the left, another titan emerged. Its skin had a dark and greenish tone, which seemed to absorb the sunlight radiated by Ra. On its head, it wore an atef crown, adorned with ostrich feathers that moved gracefully with each movement.

It wore a dark and tattered robe, and in its right hand, it dragged a huge scythe. With the same height as the other titan, this being emanated a pure and penetrating smell of death.

Both titans remained still outside the circle, while the last pyramid also began to tremble. Behind it emerged a woman with purple hair, her eyes closed in concentration. At her back, a pair of wings spread out, connected to her arms and varying in color between gold and blue. She wore a thin and elegant robe, with her hands closed.

Anthony looked at the titans and went blank, all three were gods of ancient Egypt, Ra god of the sun and light, Osiris god of the underworld, Iris goddess of wisdom and magic.
