Wandering Mysterious Lord

Chapter 18: Chapter 18

A/N: In order to reflect their new journey in search of their home, unless for specific purposes, they will all be called their true names.

Caelus sighed as he looked around "I knew it was too good to be true to find home in one go." Amanises looked around, "It's really not that bad, the air is fresh. Compared to what Huang Tao turned the air into, this place is clean of pollution."

Huang Tao glared at her "Hey, without me bringing those inventions into the world, there would be inconveniences everywhere!" Klein stared at Huang Tao remembering how they barely could afford the light and gas fees.

"Capitalism Plagiarist."

Bernadette could only sigh in disbelief at trying to accept that her father was from another world, the same world as two other above the sequences gods and the sequence 3 Scholar of Yore. She was also trying to get used to the fact that her father was not the same as what history remembered him as.

Caelus glanced around before deciding the group should follow the road laid out. Sooner or later Huang Tao immediately exclaimed "Guili Assembly?!" The look in the man's eyes were almost depraved. The three of them could only watch without any surprise.

It was no secret among the transmigrator vip club that Huang Tao was depraved. This was a man who had written in his diary about his deeds. A deed no man in his right mind would perform this act.

"The taste of a demoness still isn't bad." - Huang Tao (Emperor Roselle)

The three of them had read his diary and the recovered older records pulled from the Historical Fog only served to further move his image deeper into the trenches of disrespect.

Bernadette could only take the second hand embarrassment in front of two gods and a demi-god. Soon they arrived at the Assembly, Caelus did a quick divination and realised this was a timeline different and separate from the group chat. A pre-traveller timeline. They had arrived early.

Caelus turned towards the group, "Well I did say we should take it slow as if it was a vacation. Let's say a few hundred years?" The group nodded as the years to them were actually relatively short. Caelus nodded "I'm probably going to set up a divination business. It's been quite some time since I've acted as a seer."

Klein and Amanises decided to join the newly opened shop as they changed into clothing more familiar with the modern times. Caelus simply wore a loose white shirt with a black and gold coat covering him while Amanises removed her veil and starlight dress for a simple black dress. Klein donned his signature top hat and continued to wear his Tingen suit. Three of them made way to open up a shop in a house. With a little bit of fooling here and there and some help from Amanises, they opened a shop as if nothing had happened.

Some years went by as the three of them had established a Divination Commission within their home, they'd take random requests or read people's fate. Amanises specialised in helping people conceal their secrets while Klein and Caelus would divine their fates.

Caelus sighed as the three of them relaxed in the living room. "Does anyone know what happened to the baboon?" Amanises asked. Zhou shrugged "Last I heard, Bernadette was doing her best to keep her father of the streets by opening up an accounting firm."

Amanises spoke out with a teasing tone, "Such a filial daughter~ Doing her best to house a better cage for the baboon."

Caelus simply couldn't be bothered as he took out the Herta Gameboy from the Sefirah Castle along with an IPC cooling blanket and a bag of crisps along with a teapot and a small cube. Amanises nudged him as he produced her set and Zhou's.

The three of them sat in the living room living out their lives when the door opened as someone walked in. The door had mentioned that it was break time, so who could it be?

Yes that was redundant, The Eternal Darkness and Lord of Mysteries were present, it'd be quite impossible to hide from them.

The three of them continued to game as the figure walked towards them with a strange shy look. "Greetings Lord Haagentus," the three of them droned at the same time. Years of spending time with each other had eased and improved their relationship to the point they all shared a braincell.

Guizhong could only look in amazement. There was no reverence or shock in their voices, simply tired and unbothered tones. "I heard that you three specialise in divination and have power to see fate?" Guizhong inquired. Originally she didn't have much interest, but the rumors were too empowering as many testified.

"I was hoping if it was possible to have a look at my fate?" Guizhong kindly asked as she placed down the mora. Caelus smashed a few buttons before pushing the mora back to Guizhong. "No need for payment today, we are on break. As for your fate... You will die soon."

Amanises paused while Zhou stared at him. "You can't just tell someone that they are going to die like that, even if it's a god."

....

"Wait, hang on. Aren't we also?" Amanises thought to herself, the years with each other's company had gradually brought out the most of their humanity. Guizhong froze and laughed it off "I'll die? You're joking right?" Her head tilted looking at the three.

Zhou shook his head "Unfortunately he's not joking. The divination comes to the same conclusion when I do it."

Guizhong's mood instantly dropped, she was well versed in interactions with people, she could tell the three weren't lying nor did they need to lie. If her gut instinct was right, these three travelers were dangerous beyond even Morax and the other top tier gods.

Amanises sighed before comforting her, "Don't think too much of it. Fate can be changed, deceived or concealed. Don't worry about something that isn't going to happen yet."

Caelus nodded "What she said, don't give up the whole forest simply because you see a few dead trees."

Guizhong's gentle nature slightly broke down as she asked with a edge in her voice "Don't worry? You've just told me that my death was in the near future. And you want me to not worry about it?"

Caelus without thinking spouted out, "It's just dying isn't it? No big deal~" His game character died as he groaned before pressing respawn.

"To be fair, even Zhou's died quite a few times hasn't he?" Amanises nodded "I counted six times." Caelus froze, "Huh... How did that happen again?"

His thoughts churned for a bit before coming to a realisation, "Oh... The miracle invoker item that got caught up when I released everyone." Amanises nodded "Plus the two of us watched over him so that played a part."

Guizhong's brain stopped computing as what she was hearing was insane. "Sorry what? He's died six times? And you've also died multiple times before?"

Caelus and Zhou both nodded with a small smile, Amanises sighed "Ignore the two roaches, when I tell you it is nearly impossible to kill them completely I mean it. Forget about danger even coming to the one with glasses. You'll die of old age before you can even get to him."

Caelus looked appalled, "What's wrong with the glasses? Isn't it good to switch up the eye wear from a monocle occasionally?"

Guizhong questioned the three "So you travelers are also gods?" Amanises kicked Zhou's side as he was forced to explain to Guizhong."

The God of Dust took in the information pretty calmly before letting out a sigh. "To think that we can still call ourselves gods is embarrassing. Even an angel is stronger than the gods here."

Caelus shrugged "I mean, it's not like you can't call yourselves gods either? You would simply be considered elemental gods." Guizhong drooped down, "That makes me feel slightly better."

She stared at the three "So you three are still looking for home right? If so, why would you stay here for years?"

Zhou replied, "It's not that we aren't looking for home. It's that we can't find home... Our original home no longer exists. It's far beyond our reach, out arrival here is only a pit stop. A slow walk to our unknown destination."

Guizhong nodded "It's quite a sorrowful story, if it helps, you can make the Guili Plains your second home."

She hesitated before asking cheerfully and positively "Since you said that your assistant had come back from the dead due to an item, would it be possible to sell that item to me? I still haven't done everything I want to do yet."

Zhou reached into his pocket and handed the item in his pocket over. "It's got only one time usage left, I won't need it anymore." Recently Zhou had advanced to Miracle Invoker without the risk of losing control from outside forces. The miracle invoker item would also serve to help realise Guizhong's wishes so neither Amanises nor Caelus stopped him.

Interlude

Stellaron Hunters Base:

Silver Wolf was sobbing into her pillow. Her game account could no longer be recognised at all, as if it no longer existed, there was no sign of hacking, the account itself vanished (Concealment). And when she made a new account even with hacks, no attack she unleashed would land. It almost always missed by a small number of pixels, the rules of the game seemed to have been thrown out of the window (Disorder & Distortion).

She soon gave up and decided on focusing on using AOE attacks so it would be impossible to not cause damage, the result was that she could no longer level up. She would grind to max level, but the moment she hit max level, she would wake up to an empty inventory and no xp being reduced back to level 1 (Theft).
