Wang An Leiji (Yang Leiji) (What If I Was In Martial Peak)

With the direct impact of the reality of the maid's position hitting her, this was the moment where her next action would determine everything… She knew this, like the other maid servants before her, wiping their tears and giving a determined smile. All while I watched very carefully, to ensure she wasn't faking a single emotion. 

"This humble maid understands, Master. And look forward to a more hopeful future." The maid said, kneeling in an offering manner. It was this action that fully offered every fiber of her being to me. Such an action was extremely common, however, in the majority of cases it was done out of fear… Not here though, she clearly couldn't harbor any negative emotions towards her mistresses. And that went double for their mistresses' Husband, her Master. 

"Very well, you may use the resources of the house like the other maid servants who have managed to show such resolve." I said, remaining unbothered by her posture. It's not like I haven't already seen every single one of the live in maids completely bare before. "Still, you must understand. I will not make any promise to give you a child. You are not a wife, you are not a concubine. And most of all I'm not entirely certain that you'll be able to grow to the level required… What I'm saying is you'll have to work incredibly hard to make up for it. Are you still willing?" I continued, elaborating in a way to avoid any issues of confusion of promises made. 

The response I got in return was a bit more than expected. The other maid servants smiled and answered along with their newly resolved sister. "Yes, Master. Anything for the chance." They said, in unison. 

"I see, it seems you've learned about that other matter from someone else…" I noted, glancing at a maid servant from my father's house, a half smirk appeared on my face as I noticed the nervously warm smile on her face. "I suppose I'll have to worry about more things in the future…" I said with a half chuckle. "Work smart, and work hard. If there is enough improvement you'll enjoy that reward." I explained, stretching nonchalantly. 

"Big brother, what is that other thing…?" One of my little sisters asked, crawling onto my lap. She wasn't able to finish her question though, the reason why was simple, she was one of the ones that gained the ability to speak within the last few hours. 

"Do you mean one of these things?" I chuckled while presenting one of the incense pills I had refined. 

"What, is it?" My little sister asked, wide eyed as she looked at the floating pill shaped object in my hand. She blinked a couple of times and then closed her eyes, sniffing the air. Still confused, she continued staring at it with abundant curiosity. "It smells really good. Almost as good as mommy does…" She stated with wonder in her tone. 

"Pfft, that's a rather nice compliment. But, I doubt I could manage making something that smells as good as our mothers. They'll always be better than anything I could produce." I chuckled, rubbing my sister's head with my other hand. "This is what I'll have you use next. This will help you in your meditation practice. Enveloping you in a tranquil state while you master your flow. It will also activate your Divine Spirit Cultivation side. This will give you a much stronger body than others your age, for the rest of your lives." I explained. 

"Huh? But can't we just snuggle with you, big brother?" My little sister asked, looking at me curiously. "You're always so cozy. And it feels nice to be near you…" She added, almost in tears. 

"Oh? This is meant for when I'm not here. You can still snuggle up to me as much as you want." I chuckled, with a heart warmed smile. She, like my other siblings, is just too damn precious. 

"Yay!" My little sister threw her arms up and hugged me, attempting to wrap her arms all the way around. But that was a bit much for her, considering she was still just a year old. 

After lunch, we all went back to supervise training once more. I kept meditating while I observed the training grounds with an ever watchful eye. In fact my eyes never stopped glowing, giving off the impression I was not to be trifled with. I was also simultaneously refining the perfect fertility pills for my family, and good friends of the family, to use… 

With all of that going on, the most pressing issue at hand was the world spirit of the Star Boundary. She remained sleeping, it was a still sleep up until just a few breaths ago… A sense of danger or… Rather something drastic was about to happen. It also happened at this moment I received a message from the World Tree Senior…

"Young one, the world you're in right now is about to undergo a massive change. I ask that you prepare yourself to protect the entirety of this beautiful and bountiful world… I am unable to assist while this event goes on…" The Message was cryptic yet serious. 

"My brothers and sisters, as well as all disciples, stop all non essential training immediately." I ordered, making sure everyone nearby heard. "All inhabitants of Star Boundary, I am Temporal Thunder Great Emperor and in my name I order everyone to cease all non-essential practice. A major event is about to occur, do not do anything major until I say it is alright to continue as normal. You will be safe, this is only a precaution as I am unaware of the extent of the situation just yet…" I explained, and just in time. 

Star Boundary's world spirit floated up out of my arms and began to undergo a similar situation to open heaven breakthroughs. 

"So this is what he was talking about…" I murmured softly. Knowing what the situation was now, I took over the safety of the Star Boundary, bearing the entire weight of its breakthrough, protecting the spirit and thus the universe world from immense pain and suffering. "I see, it's already achieved a high rank Universe World… And it's still going…" I said as I focused a little more clearly, I could see the spirit's body grow into a more mature sized woman…
