Behind him, a voice warned:

"Even we couldn't chain it forever."

Kaios smiled.

"I don't want to chain it."

"I want to aim it."

A burst of red-black flame exploded through the room.

Out of the vault stepped a figure — burning like a furnace, but shaped like a man.

Chains wrapped around its ribs, embedded in the bone.

Its eyes were empty pits of fire.

And its voice was thunder wrapped in ash:

"Who calls the first?"

Kaios bowed low.

"I bring you a target."

He flicked his hand—

A flame image of Sei shimmered in the air.

The entity stared.

Silence.

Then—

"He carries belief."

"He burns freely."

"He mocks everything I died to build."

Sei stood atop the tower again.

A peace had begun to return to the city — small flickers of normalcy, even laughter.

But the flame next to him trembled.

"It's awake."

Sei frowned.

"What is?"

The flame whispered:

"The soul that never forgave."

Suddenly—the sky turned red.

A streak of black fire cracked the clouds.

The Wrath froze.

A black flame seal snapped back around the Wrath's body.
