**Chapter 3: Lin Dong: I'll Give You the Stone Talisman!**

The cold is coming again! 

When Lin Tian saw Qingtan's condition, his expression suddenly changed, and he rushed forward to support her.

Suddenly, waves of cold air surged into Lin Tian's body, making him shiver.

Lin Tian had no time to focus on the system's notification echoing in his mind at this moment. He endured the cold and picked up Qingtan, saying to Lin Dong, "Come with me!"

After Lin Tian finished speaking to Lin Dong, he held Qingtan and strode toward her room.

Lin Dong reacted to Lin Tian's words and hurriedly followed.

Seeing this, Qingtan set aside her worries and leaned against Lin Tian's chest obediently.

"Hiss, this cold air is truly unbearable for ordinary people!"

Once they rushed into the room and placed Qingtan on the bed, Lin Tian rubbed his stiff arms and chest, breathing in the cold air.

"I'm sorry, Brother Lin Tian. You... you can go back first; I can handle it," Qingtan said apologetically.

Wrapped in a blanket, her petite form trembled, and her voice was faint.

Lin Tian stated, "The day Qingtan and I went to the cave to find you, we happened to see you stow away a stone talisman. That stone talisman can absorb the cold air erupting from Qingtan's body."

Lin Tian, Lin Dong, and Qingtan had grown up together, forming a brotherly bond. 

As the eldest, Lin Tian often stood up for Lin Dong and Qingtan, which meant there were hardly any secrets among them.

Lin Tian already knew about the cave where Lin Dong found the ancestral stone before he awakened his previous life's memories. 

On the day Lin Dong acquired the ancestral stone, Lin Tian and Qingtan did come searching for him, but at that time, he hadn't seen the stone talisman, so he fabricated an excuse.

After merging the memories of his two lives, Lin Tian was aware of the story's progression and knew Lin Dong had obtained the ancestral stone.

Though a bit regretful, Lin Tian didn't dwell on it or covet the ancestral stone for himself; he wasn't an ungrateful person! 

However, he wouldn't refuse to share some benefits derived from the ancestral stone.

Moreover, Lin Tian planned to guide Lin Dong slightly, so he could discover some functions of the ancestral stone early on.

He had already thought of an excuse.

When Lin Dong heard Lin Tian's words, he felt tense, realizing that Lin Tian had witnessed his actions that day. "Brother Lin Tian, I'm sorry. I… I didn't mean to hide it from you."

Lin Dong, just a 14-year-old boy—innocent and kind—had subconsciously concealed the secret of the stone talisman for safety reasons.

Before long, the cold air that had taken hold of Qingtan's body spread throughout her system via Lin Dong's palm.

Lin Dong couldn't help but tremble, his eyebrows frostbitten, his teeth chattering as he exclaimed, "Brother Lin… Fan, why… why… isn't it working?"

Lin Tian frowned slightly upon hearing this and replied, "Just wait and see."

"Got it!"

Suddenly, Lin Dong gasped, having noticed a strange suction force emanating from his palm.

Remarkably, the cold air that had raged in his body was being drawn away by this force in an instant!

In moments, the cold air around both Qingtan and Lin Dong vanished, and their bodies returned to normal.

"Did this stone talisman really suck away the cold air?" Lin Dong blinked, surprise and joy lighting up his face.

"Yes! This should be the condensation of the cold and gloomy energy that was in Qingtan's body," Lin Tian explained.

"Indeed! The effect of this should be similar to that of Yin Sha Qi, making it suitable for cultivation in the Earth Yuan Realm. You can place it in a porcelain bottle."
