"Give up, Lady Hinata. Someone as weak as you shouldn't raise their hands!"

Neji glared at Hinata with a cold expression. His harsh tone immediately saddened her. They had been friends in the past, but now he was distant and unkind to her.

Hinata trembled for a second before she closed her eyes, she steeled herself, and she opened her eyes again, this time filled with determination.

"I am sorry Neji, but I won't give up!"

Neji looked at Hinata in surprise before he sneered, but he still did not start the fight.

"Someone like you could never lead the clan. You are weak-willed and unable to fight, so give up!" 

Hinata stared at Neji. She considered him a brother, but even so, she refused to give up, especially since Shinju was watching her.

"Brother Neji, let's begin!"

Neji sneered, before he got into the stance of the Gentle Fist, one of the most dangerous close-quarters fighting styles in the world, especially in the hands of a Hyuga.

"Ready?"

Hayate asked, and both fighters nodded. With a hand push, he started the fight, and he jumped back to make space.

"If you won't give up willingly, then I will just have to make you!"

Neji glared at Hinata and pointed his fingers. With a swift step, he vanished from his spot and ran at Hinata with such speed that he left afterimages in his wake.

Hinata took a deep breath, before she let it out in a long but steady breath, Neji by now was in front of him, and he launched a palm attack at her midsection.

Boom!

A wave of air was created as Hinata dodged, She retaliated with a palm of her own, and Neji blocked, but he was pushed back as the force behind it was strong.

"What?"

Neji muttered in shock as he glanced at Hinata, his hand shaking as he felt the power behind her strike—it was stronger than his own. 

Hinata pulled back, adopting a low stance as she launched another attack at Neji. However, he had learned his lesson. Instead of absorbing the blow, he redirected her attack.

Neji took the chance of Hinata stumbling to attack her in the arm, but in shock he watched as a pulse of chakra was released from her arm, pushing him away with a fierce force.

"How did she do that?!"

Neji said in shock as his hand started trembling, up on the stands, Shinju smirked as he saw her use the technique that he taught Hinata on his own.

Hyuga can release chakra from all of their pores to form an attack called the revolving heaven, he taught Hinata how to push out chakra from any of her pores.

Neji felt his pride get hurt, and in anger, he ran at Hinata at full speed, Hinata got into a low stance, and she started gathering chakra in a rotating shape in her palm.

Neji watched this, and he suddenly stopped as he felt danger envelop his senses, Hinata punched the air, and a rotating spike of chakra flew out of her palm.

Boom!

The spiralling chakra flew past Neji's head, and it struck the wall of the arena behind her, making a human-sized crater on the wall as a shockwave was released.

"This is impossible... How could I lose to someone like her?"

Neji muttered in shock and anger. He closed his eyes, clenched his fists, looked down at the ground, and pushed his emotions down. 

"This is my destiny. I lost and I gave up."

Neji looked up, and Hinata stared at him in shock, Hayate signalled the end of the match, and Neji walked away with a neutral expression on his face, Hinat tried to talk to him, but she stopped.

"Brother Neji..."

Hinata muttered under her breath, but she was suddenly brought out of her daze as she heard Shinuu calling to her, she looked up at the stands and she could not help but smile as she jumped back on.

She landed and Shinju smiled as he rubbed her head, she blushed but did not pull back, and Kurenai smirked as she looked at the scene in front of her, Shino felt like a third wheel.

"That was a good match Hinata, you will become even stronger with my guidance, so don't give up"

Shinju rubbed her head, and he smiled at the cute look on her face, he couldn't help it since it was a miracle if there was even a single kind person in his last world.

He was drawn to Hinata due to how pure and honest she was, in his world, it would be a miracle if someone did not lie to him even once a day, or was actually kind.

He is not a kind person himself, but that does not stop him from trying to be better than his past self, ever since he came to this world, he has not done a single good thing.

He has even killed since he got here, which is why someone like Hinata is drawing him closer and closer to her.

"Thank you"

Without stuttering, Hinata muttered under her breath in a shy manner, Shinju smiled as he lifted his hand from Hinata's head.

Hinata felt the heat on her head fade, and she was kind of disappointed before she suddenly felt the heat on her head again.

"Don't worry Hinata, I can keep doing it if you want~"

Hinata felt her face get heated, and her cheeks turned red at a speed visible to the eyes before smoke started forming on her head.

She started wobbling, and SHinju looked at her in confusion, before she fell into his arms knocked out from shyness.

"Hinata? Hinata!"

Shinju laid her down on the ground, and he rested her head on her thighs as his hand glowed a green light, before he started healing her, he was surprised at how much-hidden damage was in her body.

Probably from being trained at such a young age by her father, and so harshly as well, this left some injuries that were hidden, and building up into a bigger injury.

"What a bastard of a father"

Shinju muttered with disappointment before he started healing her, Kurenai smiled at the scene, and she felt like she could die right there and would not be disappointed.

"The winner of the eight matches is Hinata Hyuga!"

Hayate declared, and then the ninth match began, it was Choji and Dosu, but it was nothing important, Choji lost in the end with Dosu defeating him by transmitting sound in the water into his body.

"The next match is between Gaara of the Sand vs Rock Lee!"

Rock Lee and Gaara jumped down into the arena, and Shinju noticed that Gaara was not as angry, and was not letting out as much bloodlust as last time.

"This will be interesting~"
