Chapter 16: Supreme Council of Celestial
Somewhere in the depths of the multiverse, the Supreme Council of Celestial Beings had gathered. It was an emergency meeting, and every single entity present was either sweating, trembling, or on the verge of questioning their very existence.
The topic of discussion?
A five-year-old boy had just casually walked into the Elder Gods' Court and made the most powerful deities bow to him.
The Supreme Archon, an ancient being whose mere thoughts dictated the flow of time, slammed his hand on the cosmic table. "This… this cannot continue!"
Another god, his body composed entirely of golden lightning, spoke through gritted teeth. "We tried to avoid them… we enacted every law, every precaution, yet… yet they still found us."
A being of pure void energy whispered, "Maybe we should just… accept our fate?"
Silence.
The Supreme Archon's face darkened. "You suggest surrender?"
The void entity nodded frantically. "YES! If we surrender willingly, maybe—just maybe—they will ignore us! I mean… do you really think that boy even knew what he was doing? The way he smiled, the way he acted… he thought it was a game."
A storm god gulped. "You mean… he didn't even intend to conquer the Elder Gods?"
The void entity nodded gravely.
The realization hit the room like a divine calamity.
If the boy had conquered the strongest beings in the multiverse by accident, what would happen if he actually tried?
The gods collectively shuddered.
The Supreme Archon rubbed his temples. "We are left with two choices: One, we continue resisting and eventually get erased from existence. Two, we… befriend them."
A war deity scoffed. "Befriend them? How? We're ancient cosmic beings! What do we even offer to a family that can rewrite reality by breathing?"
The Supreme Archon took a deep breath and spoke the words that would forever change the fate of the multiverse.
"…We throw them a party."
---
Meanwhile, back on Earth, Li-Yan Mei was inspecting a letter that had appeared out of thin air.
"An invitation?" she murmured, reading the glowing golden script.
Son-Wu San leaned over. "What does it say?"
Xian Xue and Xian Long peeked from the side, both excited.
Li-Yan Mei read aloud:
"Dear Esteemed Supreme Beings,
We, the Celestial Supreme Council, humbly invite you to an interdimensional Grand Banquet in your honor. We wish to express our deep admiration and goodwill towards your esteemed family. Please accept this offering of peace and unity.
With utmost reverence,
The Supreme Archon of the Celestial Realms"
There was a moment of silence.
Xian Xue's eyes sparkled. "A party?! Mama, Papa, can we go? Can we?!"
Xian Long grinned. "Will there be cake?"
Li-Yan Mei and Son-Wu San exchanged glances.
Son-Wu San shrugged. "Well, they did say it's in our honor. It would be rude to refuse, right?"
Li-Yan Mei sighed. "Alright, we'll go."
Xian Long pumped his tiny fist. "Yay! Free food!"
---
At that very moment, across the entire multiverse, countless celestial beings were preparing the most extravagant, divine, and utterly ridiculous banquet in history—praying, hoping, and begging that the family would be pleased.
After all… if they weren't?
Well…
It was best not to think about that.
