When Love and Fire Meet

When King Robert and Ned arrived at King's Landing there was a stony silence between the two men as they entered the bustling city. People moved out of the way as the royal caravan came through the main gate. "Make way for the King and Lord Hand." The Lord Commander said as he rode the head of the procession. 

The citizens cleared the overcrowded streets for the King and Lord's Hand and bowed. After handing the horses over to the stableboys, Robert and Lord Stark made their way to the Red Keep and were followed closely by Queen Ciersi and the rest of the court. Neither one of them spoke a word. Ned knew that Robert wasn't happy since finding out about me and Feiro. 

After settling back into business, Robert and Ned went about setting up the Small Council and sending Barabra and Joffery off to train with Baristan Selemy. In contrast, Tommen and Maresslia went with the Queen. "What news of the Targaryen girl?" The king asked. 

Varys, the Master of Whispers, smiled. "According to my little birds, the Red Comet was seen in the sky when she set Khal Drago's body on fire. That fire hatched the stone dragon eggs to life. How much of this is true, we are still unsure."

The king nodded. "Very well. Do you know if her dragons have grown very big?"

"They grow larger every day, Your Grace. At the moment they are no bigger than cats. My little birds will keep me informed."
