Chapter 18: Chapter 18 – The Return of the Blue Moon King
In the BlueMoon Kingdom, the night was quiet—too quiet. The cold winds whispered Irin's name, echoing across the halls of the grand palace. Dylan entered her bedroom, the place still untouched since she left for the Heaven Realm. His eyes softened as they fell upon the delicate blue lilies blooming in the glass vase near her window—her favorite flowers.
He walked closer, trailing his fingers gently over the petals. "She always smiled when she saw these," he murmured under his breath, the memories of her laughter, her soft voice, her touch flooding his mind like a tidal wave. A bittersweet pain clenched his heart.
Just then, the door creaked. Xizi entered and gasped slightly, startled to find him there.
"L-Lord Dylan…!"
Dylan didn't turn. "Water the flowers daily," he said calmly. "Irin loved them."
Xizi nodded with a sad smile. "Yes, my lord… We all miss her. I wonder how she's doing in Heaven Realm... She must feel so alone."
Before another word was spoken, Ruther barged into the room, urgency in his eyes.
"My Lord—Xander has returned to the Heaven Realm."
Dylan turned sharply. "What? How?"
Ruther exhaled, tense. "It seems he was revived through the ancestors' forbidden flames. But that's not all… There is a grand royal wedding happening right now."
Dylan narrowed his eyes. "A wedding? For who?"
"Xander and… Fiona."
Dylan froze.
"They do not know… she is the Blue Moon Goddess."
Dylan's voice turned dark, venomous. "Then I won't allow this wedding to happen.

In the Heaven Realm
Fiona stood quietly in her room, taking blessings from Lady Mariano, her hands trembling as the ceremonial veil was placed atop her head.
"Are you still troubled, Fiona?" Mariano asked gently.
Fiona bit her lip. "Irin… She's still angry with me. I fear she will never forgive me for what I did to Dylan."
Mariano sighed. "You sided with a false king and cast away truth. That wound will not heal easily."
"I regret it every day," Fiona whispered. "I only wanted peace..."
"Time can mend what guilt cannot. I will speak with Irin."
Fiona nodded and left for the wedding chamber.
Moments later, Irin entered Mariano's room, her expression conflicted.
"Mother… Are you ready?"
Mariano turned. "Are you truly happy for Fiona?"
"I am… I just didn't expect it to be so soon," Irin said softly.
"Then why don't you speak to her like before?"
Irin lowered her gaze. "I want to… But I can't forget what she did to Dylan. Demon or not… he didn't deserve death. No one does."
Mariano walked to her. "Then do you not care what happens to Fiona now?"
"What? Of course I care!" Irin panicked. "She's my friend… more than that—she's my sister."
"Then let go of your grudge. This moment, this day—once it passes, it won't come again."
Irin said nothing. Mariano gently tapped Irin's forehead and smiled. "Live in this moment, child. Let your heart lead you."

The Grand Royal Wedding
The heavens gleamed with light as Xander and Fiona's wedding began in full grandeur. Flowers of celestial silk rained from above. The crowd was joyous—but the Three Ancient Ancestors stood solemn and uncertain.
Fiona, in a gown of starlight, took gentle steps toward the ceremonial platform. Irin, dressed in sky-blue robes, joined her midway and took her hand.
Fiona's eyes shimmered. "You're here…"
Irin smiled faintly. "Always."
Lia stood on the other side, watching quietly as the ceremony proceeded. The vows began, the crowd cheered.
But then, Xander raised his hand, and silence fell.
"As your king," he declared, "I must resolve the greatest threat to our Heaven Realm—something that has poisoned us from within…"
Fiona blinked in confusion.
"There is a spy among us. A Demon Realm infiltrator."
Gasps filled the air. Everyone looked around.
Xander's gaze turned sharp. "It is… Irin."
"What?!" Irin whispered, frozen.
Xander pointed to her. "Guards—seize her!"
The ancestors stepped forward. "You cannot! She is one of us!" one shouted.
"I cannot allow this," another said.
Fiona gripped Xander's hand. "Stop! This is madness!"
Xander cupped her cheek and whispered, "Look closely.I will prove it."
He fired a Heaven spell at Irin. Guards lunged at her. Irin stumbled backward, terrified. The spell was seconds from striking—when suddenly—
A BlueMoon wave burst out, shielding Irin. The tattoo on her wrist—a lily entwined with a moon—glowed intensely, releasing a radiant blue aura.
Lia gasped. "She… she never had power before!"
Xander shouted, "This proves it! She's Dylan's spy!"
"No!" Irin cried. "I'm a fairy! I'm not a spy!" Tears streamed down her face.
Xander..used his magic again to..tie Irin hands by strng silver chains....
Silver chains wrapped around her wrists, draining her strength. She collapsed.
Xander drew his killer weapon. "Then die proving your innocence."
Just then—
Ren burst into the chamber. "Stop!"
Xander turned, annoyed. "Brother…"
"She's no spy. She's pure-hearted. If you harm her—I will fight you."
Fiona also pleaded, "Xander, please—she's innocent!"
But Xander's eyes were merciless. He cast a spell—paralyzing Fiona where she stood.
Irin whimpered as the chains stole her energy. Ren shouted, "You've lost your path, Xander!"
With a sneer, Xander hurled his weapon at Irin.
Ren countered with his own weapon, their powers clashing midair.
Irin's heart sank. "This is… my end. No one believes in me anymore…" she whispered, closing her eyes.
Suddenly—
The white clouds turned black.
Thunder cracked.
A massive hurricane swirled above. Everyone looked up in horror. Xander's crown slipped from his head.
Then—a voice.
> "I WON'T ALLOW YOU TO HURT MY GIRL."
Gasps rippled across the audience. The ancestors whispered: "My… girl?"
Xander's whispered "I know you..would come…"
A blue smoke curled behind Irin. A strong hand gripped her shoulder. She felt… safe.
She opened her tear-filled eyes—and saw him.
Dylan.
Standing tall, cloaked in the glowing blue fire of the Moon Kingdom, his eyes fierce and unyielding.
He pulled Irin gently behind him.
"Touch her again… and I'll tear down the heavens themselves."
In Mariano's chamber, far from the chaos, the silver mist of her magic mirror shimmered. Lady Mariano stood silently, watching the scene unfold—the clash of kings, the storm of power, the return of the one long feared. She placed a hand gently on the mirror's edge and whispered with a knowing smile,
"I knew… you would come, Dylan."
To be continued…
