why the lilies turned red

" To the palace, you will meet the team today " 

" Alright "

" So…about how many people are there going to be ? "

Mieyon was curious about how many people he had to work with 

" There are going to be around five people "

" Around ? What is that supposed to mean ? "

After hearing his question Nephthys could only leave out a sigh and answer his question to clear his doubts 

" Well, officially there are only five people whom I chose for this mission but there is always one annoying person who likes to butt in "

by the looks of it Miyeon realized that whoever that may be, is sure giving her a hard time 

For the rest of the trip Miyeon decided to not ask anymore questions

They were in front of the palace gate so naturally Miyeon reached for his identity card in order to be left inside but something seemed wrong ... .because Nephthys was just walking straight ahead didn't seem like she was going to show them anything. However, to his surprise the guards just got out the way making space for Nephthys

" What are you doing ? Are you not coming ? "

Nephthys asked, since Miyeon didn't seem to be planning on walking forward

And just like magic Miyeon got out of the trance he was in and moved once again, following Nephthys 

After a while they arrived at their destination 

" This is the Team "

Nephthys introduced her Team to Miyeon 

" Team this is Miyeon "

then introduced Miyeon to her teammates 

"...."

Interesting way of introduction….

" I'm sure you can introduce yourselves later "

feeling the awkward atmosphere Nephthys then also added 

" Now everybody sit down, we have a lot to do "

 They all sat down at her command 

" I am going to divide you all into separated teams with different tasks "

" Carrin, Austin. You two will be team ´A´. You will be at the gate checking all the guests. Make sure everyone is present "

" Sophie, Lydia and Jericho, you will be team `B´. You will guard the exits. make sure nobody leaves "

" Miyeon and I will be team `C´. Our task will be to find everyone that has a tattoo "

" The ball will be the first task. The second task will be the watch. each of you will get your own team, you will then spy on the suspects and report to me their every step "

" Then we'll get to the third phase of the plan witch is catch, we will…."

Nephthis was in the midst of explaining her plan but suddenly stopped 

Her teammates understood the reason why, it was only Miyeon who was confused 

*bang*

the door opened, and everyone in the room bowed respectfully as the person who opened the room made his presence known 

" long live the emperor "

they all cheered at the same time…except one person

the emperor looked angry and it looked like that anger was towards Nephthis, but she and everyone else looked unfazed at that fact except Miyeon who was very concerned for Nephthyis 

" YOU ! "

the emperor called furiously pointing at Nephthys 

" HOW DARE YOU ?! " 

the emperor got closer and closer and when he was close enough he did the unspeakable 

Miyeons mouth opened in outer shock at the sight 

The emperor pinched her cheeks 

" How can you be so cold hearted, not visiting me once and when you do, not even telling me about it ? "

The emperor nagged, never once letting go of her cheeks

Miyeons face turned white, and soon after passed out, out of pure shock 

*bang*

the sound he made after falling got everyone's attention, including the emperors, so he finally let go of Nephthys cheeks to look at him 

" What's wrong with him ? "

he asked Nephthys 

Nephthys looked at the emperor before answering 

" I don´t know "

even tho a person had just passed out, none of the people present seem to react in a sane way, they all just looked at him laying on the ground, not even checking if he was breathing or not

Miyeon was slowly opening his eyes and once he got to fully open them he instantly regretted it, because the first thing he saw was a bunch of people looking down at him. Nephthys, the team and even the emperor and his guards 

Miyeon didn't move a muscle and just looked at the people staring at him 

" If you are alright, stand up "

Nephthys finally spoke breaking the silence 

at her words Miyeon finally stood up from the ground 

the people around him made some space in order for him to stand up but still continued to stare at him for a while witch made him very uncomfortable 

" Alright everybody that's enough "

after Nephthis´s command they finally took their attention away from Miyeo, The poor guy was finally able to breath again 

" You may discuss it without me for a while, I'll be right back "

she ordered her team then looked at the emperor 

" Lets go your majesty " 

Nephthys called

" I have gotten rid of almost every monster, the villages are safe as long as the people don´t enter the forest , you know my barrier can keep the monsters inside but it wont stop the people from coming in, so make sure you provide the necessities needed in order for them to not enter anymore, you know even though there is a law stating not to enter the forest, the people will still do anything in order to survive. The monsters are not the biggest threat to humanity right now, but mankind itself, I plan on getting rid of everything that is a threat to peace so have no worries 

Nephthis gave the emperor a whole protocol but the emperor didn't seem satisfied 

" Sigh….my child this is not why I have called you here
